I really like the longer videos which show the grind finding fish. I don’t like videos showing catching fish on every cast. Unedited videos are the best.
I'm so glad you see it that way. I personally enjoy it much more than adding music and having to sift through hours of video to make something a lot shorter. Plus that saves me *days* of work. Hearing the wind blow and drag peel is much better than music and sound FX. Thank you for watching!!
Definitely a huge fan of the new video format. It’s inspiring to see you struggle just the rest of us, but your persistence and depth of knowledge pays off. Makes me want to fish harder and continue the grind on those tough days
Welcome return to long-form minimally edited style videos. Stream of conscious narration, sharing situational knowledge is definitely your strong point. Virtual experience of going on a fishing trip with a friend who knows what he's doing!
Thank you so much for your feedback. I really enjoy them, too. I hope this content is a hit and more people watch it and can just enjoy fishing without having to be there. Thanks for watching!
It looks like the river is gonna go down again and she is currently trying to clean up. I just want that emerald green water on the rocks! Thank you so much for watching and for posting inside the Community.
Enjoyed your outing. Persistence and patience are key and good qualities to have. Well done. Watched entire video. I would have moved from last spot once the results were remaining consistently small fish and slow fish. However still enjoy the virtual outing. Thanks for all you do in shar. Thanks again!
I’ve been fishing all the same spots this year and the biggest trout have been in the marsh area around Burwood off southwest pass and south pass. Was down there 11/30/ 24 & 12/1/24. Even though the river is low it’s still muddy hopefully it will clear soon.
The whole river and that guy had to ride in the 50 feet of water between you and the shore. I swear these types of people are becoming more and more common.
Try running to the end of Baptiste Collette. Fishing is usually really good around the 5 little islands on your right side at the end. It can get really shallow in some of those ponds, so be careful, I found myself high and dry once or twice. Good luck man.

@@LAFishBlogyes on wind blowing and drag peeling! I luv cork fishing, the sound of a popping cork makes with a speckled trout on it is so satisfying!
