0:00 Sam reads the passage (Genesis 9)
1:37 The first way to interpret the text: Ham mocked his father, but this doesn’t make sense in light of the curse of Canaan
2:45 Start of the second interpretation: What does uncover the nakedness of your father” mean? [This will blow you away]
7:07 Then why curse Canaan, and not Ham?
10:03 Was this fair to Canaan?

I have to disagree with this account of this explanation because it seems Noah cursed because of shame or the possible lack of respect Ham showed to him as his father by looking on his nakedness. It's the same literal situation as to whom Jesus really is? Whether he is literally a separate God to the Almighty God or literally the Most High God himself or literally like the God and Father himself? Revelations reveals Jesus will receive a scroll literally from the right hand of God someday but until then JC remains the Son seated at the right hand of God (Psalm 110) who btw also determines who sits at JC's right and left according to Jesus himself.Mark 10:40

I'm an incest survivor and I had seen that interpretation when I read it. Because of my experience I knew what I was looking at. I prayed about it because it worried me but I knew in my heart that Ham had slept with his mother... I'm so glad that someone else has seen it too. The whole story explains to me why God is so angry that it was done to me. It also explains why God is so kind to me and listens to me when I'm screaming in agony at the memory of it. God uses our past experiences to learn his truths and to show us why God's ways are so much better for us than the ways of our ancestors... Pray about it and see what God has to say you just might be surprised. God bless you all very much!

@marthajones1086 I too am a victim of incest via SRA through my grandparents and their church. I was trafficked through their church starting when I was 2. They did rituals to install demons in me and forced me to participate in human sacrifice. I have since been delivered from these demons, but for decades I suffered too with nightmares over it. These rituals involved terrible traumas that would make me forget what happened but the demons installed were controlling my life, they caused terrible anger, major anxiety and a false understanding of salvation. They are like parasites of the mind, putting thoughts in my head. I was afraid all the time. I developed many health problems because of them.
Then I found someone who was able to deliver me of these demons and teach me about the true path to Salvation and when I became born again, I was healed from the pain, from the rage, and fear. I had been praying for a long time for God to help me with all my pain and God led me to this person. I am now at peace, and peaceful. We did what the Apostles were doing using the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. His name is Marion Knox, hes 87 and has had a deliverance ministry for over 45 years. He does not charge for this service nor does he record any of it. I pray you find peace and are able to escape the past.

@@KingSardius Leviticus 18:7 gives the definition of uncovering your fathers nakedness OR your mothers nakedness. It says your mothers nakedness is her nakedness. It says this in Bible versions that came from the Protestant Reformation--ALL SEVEN OF THEM including the King James Bible. Verse 8 of Lev 18 is talking about other wives of your father, not your mother. The modern Bible versions confuse this issue because they want to hide the sin of sodomy.

    • @KingSardius
      @KingSardius 2 дні тому

@@maineiax "The modern Bible versions" do not hide anything, you are speaking about the translators. The sin of sodomy is condemned in the law of Moses, and in all translations of the Bible. The Bible revisions are done to bring corrections, to re-evaluate the meaning of text, and to update words used for a translation based on current language usage. So yes, 3 revisions of the King James Bible say a lot. And having more Biblical text resources (like the Dead Sea Scrolls) makes all the difference. You are stuck on fallacies. Leviticus 18:8 "You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father 's wife; it is your father 's nakedness", and Noah had only one wife at the time.

I don't think that's correct he's assuming Noah cursed Caanan years later once he was born. When the bible makes it clear Caanan already existed when Noah cursed him. He cursed Caanan not Ham because the Lord already Blessed Ham and you can't curse what the Lord already blessed. But if you want to believe Ham had sex with his Mother and produced Caanan that's fine. Why would Noah being naked be mentioned and not the mother at all? It seems odd.

    • @maineiax
      @maineiax 19 днів тому +10

The modern Bible versions are copyrighted. This means with each new edition, the owner has to change the Word of God per the copyright laws of men. The King James 1611 Bible wording is not copyrighted which means with each new edition the words of God have to stay the same and have since 1611. If charts, dictionaries or study notes are added, those could be copyrighted but the words have to stay the same, being preserved since the Protestant Reformation. Because of copyright laws, modern Bible versions can be full of inconsistencies and even contradictions. Read Lev 18 in the King James and it clearly says that Ham had unlawful sex with Noah, not his mother. It clearly defines what seeing the nakedness of different individuals are unlike the version read from in this video which like many other modern versions tries to hide unlawful sex between men.

Honor your mother and father. Cover (forgive) those that have shamed instead of being slanderous and mocking them. help them. This goes even more into the spiritual sense. when people were in shame, they were always uncovered. left open.. our sons and daughters, and servents in the lords eyes, should be taught to forgive, cover their shame, help them, and honor them. I'd say the bible is a 2 fold instruction on what to do both in real life, and the unseen realm, where there are servants and a cloud of witnesses watching. This is what I've gathered from my researching. When you read the bible, you're not only instructing yourself, but the servants and angels assigned to you, that make you who you are and support your being and your relationship with God. This might be a bit too much meat for some people.

Bringing forth Moab(Moabites) and Ammon(Ammonites) through Drunkenness. The difference is that the two daughters did it, not a son unto his Mother bringing forth Canaan setting the (Canaanites). Most all church leaders have set aside the truth of the curse unto them for not teaching the truth of all the matters unto the people. Now let us look why the Roman Catholic Church(4th Empire of Daniel 2) is celibate and have created a Name for themselves for the harm of Children that they have done. We do now know that other Christian Church preachers have done the same. This is the reason for not teaching the word of God in its full format that the children of God will be unknowledgable and easily allow a church leader to lead them to accept their Authority over them. This is why I left the Church and seen it as Witchcraft or Warlocking.

Yes, agreed. KJV, 1611 is left pure and unchanged because it is not copyrighted, only the maps, reference notes, and appendix. It is the best English version, because it is unchanged.
About Leviticus 18, read vs 7 and 8. Both the father and the mother are also the father’s na *kedness. It also specifies the father’s wife as such since a father’s wife isn’t necessarily the son’s mother. But Noah did not have another wife other than the mother of his 3 sons at that time. But one can understand the mother would be the same as with another wife as well. So, I’ve always thought Ham was with both Noah and his mother, which would be the ultimate humiliation and dominant move to place himself as leader of the family over his father by the greatest humiliation. The child Canaan came from the act with Ham’s mother, and so it proved he was with both, and so the child bore a bitter curse for his father Ham’s actions. I could be wrong, but I think Ham was with both Noah and his mother, because as you read the chapter apparently Ham and Canaan, and the people of Canaan lay with everyone and anyone related to them closely or through marriage, even with animals. Like father like son I suppose.

@@BlueberryGirl723 It can be easy to miss when we hear someone tell it versus just looking at all the words as God wrote them in Lev 18:7. There was a time when I thought Ham slept with his mother and Canaan was the product of that union but it was because I heard it somewhere and then missed this one little word that made all the difference.
Lev 18:7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
The "or" word separates my fathers nakedness from my mothers nakedness then says that to do so is to uncover my mothers nakedness as her nakedness not his nakedness. This verse is basically saying each parent has their own nakedness and to uncover ones fathers nakedness is to have sex with ones father or to uncover ones mothers nakedness is to have sex with ones mother all due to the word "or" which is not the same as the word "and". If the word, "and" replaced the word "or" then we might be able to say our mothers nakedness was also our fathers nakedness.
Then in verse 8 we are talking about step mothers because mother was already covered (no pun intended) in verse 7.
Lev 18:8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
Many men of that time had more than one wife. Abraham's first born Ishmael from the Egyptian servant woman could not have sex with Abraham's wife Sarah, just as Isaac Sarah's son would not have sex with his fathers concubines later after his mothers death. Jacobs first born son from Leah, Reuben, ended up losing his firstborn inheritance for uncovering his fathers wife's nakedness with Bilhuh, Rachel's servant woman in Gen 35:22. Though she is called a concubine in this verse, Rachel gave her to Jacob as a surrogate to have children by when Rachel was barren and the two free women as well as the two concubines are all considered Jacobs wives. Today many are divorced or widowed and remarry. The new spouse has to have her or his own place in this law and is given it here in verse 8.
And then there is the fact that when Noah woke up, he knew what his younger son had done to him because he could feel in in his body. A lot could be said about this, because in the occult the act of sodomy produces demons in the recipient. The demon is one of rage and this unclean spirit producing ritual would have been going on before the flood which would have led to the flood. Think of end-time prophesies that warn us what our time is like in the days of Noah and like in the days of Lot. Also the doctrine of Balaam. There must have been some issue with this in the past though we dont know for sure, but Noah knew who to blame and that in itself is interesting and cursed his grandchild, Canaan as a punishment to Ham.
Also interesting is that Ham is also the grandfather of Nimrod who was the most evil and powerful ruler after the flood, so much so, that God had to intervene with what Nimrod was doing by separating all the people into different nations with different languages. Nimrod is the father of all false religions, especially the mystery religions which still use sodomy of young children to lock them into false beliefs via demon possession.

Very interesting in what you wrote. I did study the verses and text further, and have to agree it dealt only with Noah being violated. Canaan was alive before this happened since Noah specifically mentions the child by name. And indeed what Ham did is an occult ritual.
I’d like to encourage you to possibly do some study videos, if you feel led by the Lord to do so. You have a great wealth of information and understanding that can be beneficial to others.
Yes, Ham was apparently involved in the occult prior to the flood, which opened the door for these practices to begin again after the flood through his linage. And, Nimrod was also a type of the Antichrist, so indeed he was very vile.

What I prefer is the truth and so because there are so many different Bible versions, I did many months of researching them and those who put them in the world. This started with the Protestant Reformation because that is where the truth was first revealed to Western civilization which had been controlled by Rome for about 1300 years. Because Rome lost a lot of power during that event, they started an anti reformation counterattack to stop it and to hide the truths that were revealed there.
The reformers had sent letters to all Christian communities in the known world requesting their Bible manuscripts and received back over 1500 copies which when studied where all found to be very similar. This means the WORD had been preserved outside of Romes influence for over 1300 years and these documents were the Masoretic Hebrew OT and the Textus Receptus Greek NT. This is what Rome has wanted to hide and so they hired the society of Jesus, the Jesuits to fix it. The Jesuits infiltrated all the schools and seminaries pretending to be protestants and that is why we have hundreds of denominations now. They also entered governments and changed laws, creating the copyright laws so that they could change the modern bibles back to what Rome wants the world to believe.
I read only bible versions that cannot be copyrighted like those translated during the Protestant Reformation because that is where Gods preserved Word is. That said, it is possible for individuals to be saved by a corrupt Bible, but they wont get any meat there and they wont see how our adversary the devil works to tempt us and mislead us. Because of this, there are many who think they are Christians but they are not.

Probably the easiet way to see is to compare every verse because you will find many of them missing. Some remove the virgin birth. They make Joseph the father of Jesus instead of God. They remove many miracles. They separate the Name Jesus Christ into just Jesus or just Christ, for and give titles belonging to Jesus, to Satan. They separate Satan from Lucifer when they are the same being. Lucifer is deception through the appearance of good and Satan is the dragon come to kill and destroy. They remove information about certain lifestyle choices God calls abominations and the list goes on. Even here I tried to show how one Bible says Ham had sex with his mother when the Reformation Era Bible version are clear that Ham had sex with Noah. That might not seem much worse but its one of many clues to figure out End-time prophesies and understanding how the adversary deceives us. I have left plenty of information here for those who want it, but now I am done.

The beginning of sin, the mystery of iniquity began in Eden, Genesis 4:8-15-24.
Man didn't directly commit sin, but was led by a third party- the devil in the serpent, and was made to sin against God. In God's right, He killed a third party propitiation for their sins- the sinless Lamb. Thus God, to be Righteous and Just, must be the One to provide Himself a sacrificial Lamb, to atone for the sins which the third party- Adam, had committed, to be able to Righteously judge the other third party, the devil, satan, the dragon, to finally get punished. But there has to be opportunity on both sides to prove that God is Righteous and Just in His judgment, by giving man 1000 years to prove he can eventually hold his own and not succumb to peer or outside pressure, in order to be worthy of being redeemed, ransomed, regenerated, restored and reconciled, back to God- through Jesus Christ.
    2 Corinthians 5.
Then, man- Cain deliberately killed his brother, Abel, but this sin couldn't readily be judged simply because there was no preceding law about being one's brother's keeper that was to have been broken. (Thus, the whole system was destroyed by the flood, and the laws started with that Genesis 9:5-6, until finally judged and finished on the cross John 19:30)
And in verse 15, a precedent was laid down for the time it would take to judge sin, 70x7 or 490 years.
That generation was wiped out by the flood, but the precept remained: sin shall be avenged seventy and seven fold. (Matthew 18:21-23).
This was the standard by which Israel also judged, as they also had to spend 70 sabbath years ( or 70x7= 490 years), in exile, outside of the promised land.
When it was the 69th week year Daniel prayed to God, and fasted to remind Him of the imminent due date of the return of God's people to their promised land; but the sin of the Amorite was not yet full, Genesis 15:16, also, Israel was still in rebellion towards God, and the land cannot sustain rebellion- it was Holy!
So, the Messiah had to come and make a way for grace and justification, and righteousness of God to be imputed, so Israel can get back their monarchy, through the house of David, and back to the kingdom of God, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, as the Son of God, and the Son of man -the promised Son of David, the king of Israel to order His Kingdom Isaiah 9:6; who would ascend His throne as God had promised him. Romans 1:3; Acts 2:30, and come to bring them back to God, Jeremiah 16:16a; Luke 19:10; Matthew 10:5. Instead, they rejected and killed Him.
Thus, from then onwards, the way to God was opened to whosoever would come to Him by grace through the shedding of His blood, by grace through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection.
They were given the adoption of sons and daughters into the kingdom, which hitherto, they were not permitted Ephesians 2:13; John 1:11-14, becoming heirs and joint heirs of God and the Abrahamic covenanted promises an blessing (Genesis 25:6- the representatives of his other children by Hagar and Keturah, the Kings of the East, could now access and partake of the blessing, and they showed their allegiance and faith, by worshipping Jesus Christ, as a Child!)
Jesus Christ gave His life for all who would simply believe in Him as Lord and Savior, in order to keep them from the wrath of God that will be unleashed upon the Amorite, until the end. Isaiah 63:18; Daniel 8:13; Zechariah 12:3; Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2.
And eventually, they will be rescued at the second coming of Christ Luke 21:13; Zechariah 14.
He finished the work of salvation of the soul of man John 19:30 and this continues the "acceptable year of the Lord" which began as He took the sealed book of Daniel, 12:4, from God, as the Lamb of God, who alone is Worthy, and opened the seals Revelation 5, and fulfilled the first of the three part of Isaiah 61:2, in Luke 4:16-21, and He SHUT it again. This will run through this dispensation of preaching of the gospel of grace, (which ended the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, which ended with the stoning of Stephen) by faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and He will return to gather His saints from the world, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15; and present them faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy, Jude 24; with victory over sin, devil, death, hell and eternal damnation in the lake of fire and brimstone Isaiah 66:24.
The second dispensation is nearly upon us, at this time Isaiah 63:4, which will usher in the tribulation period when the 70th and last year will be ushered in to finish all transgressions! Daniel 9:24.
( As the Messiah has become the sacrifice for sin, and was dead, buried and rose again from the dead! His shed blood sprinkled on the heavenly mercy seat for propitiation for sins for all who would go to God by and through Him, simply by faith! Ephesians 2:8).
Then, the Lord will return the second time, complete with His body, as a new Creature resting upon the Mount of Olives Zechariah 14, to make a way of escape for the remnants of Israel Matthew 24:31.
Then the battle of armageddon will ensue, and it will end up in total obliteration of this earth. Isaiah 24; Joel chapters 2 and 3, Jeremiah chapters 1-11...; 1 Peter 3 etc.
This is the fullness and end, and judgment of the sin of the Amorite! Matthew 18:21-22; Psalm 75:8; 73:3-17.
Then the new heaven and earth will be created after the conclusion of the millennium- to mark the expiration date of sin and death, like it was back in Eden. Now man will live out the 1000 year curse of death Isaiah 65, (Genesis 5).
Then history will repeat itself when everything reaches full circle- the serpent will be released once again, Revelation 20:1-6, to tempt man as he did with Adam and Eve, those who follow him will get totally judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, together with hell, death, the antichrist, false prophets and all whose portion is with them Isaiah 66:24. Revelation chapters 19-22.
God has perfected the end from the beginning. But as it is written-"My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge " Hosea 4:6, so, "With all thine getting, get understanding " Proverbs 4:7; Luke 24:45. Be filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, and abide in the fold, John 10, until He returns as promised, to take up His purchased possession! John 14:26; Ephesians chapters 1-2!
Then He will set up His kingdom! Isaiah 9:6!
    Be encouraged!

Nice post. One comment though, In Rev 13, the two beasts, one comes from the sea and the second, antichrist comes from the Earth. I believe the first is the false prophet and is part of the Beast kingdom ,Rome somehow and that both are resurrected beings from hell brought back with their new immortal bodies, because they comes from the sea and the Earth, Antichrist cannot be killed by man because it is in its resurrected body.
This theory is based on how we all have to die physically once, then are resurrected to either eternal life or eternal damnation in new immortal bodies.
Then when Jesus Christ returns, these two beings are immediately sent to the Lake of fire before the Millennial rest in Rev 19:20. Because the final judgement at the end of time is for the resurrected dead in Christ, these two men, the false prophet and Antichrist have to both be resurrected so that they go into the Lake in their resurrected immortal bodies.
Along the same theory, that all die physically once, the two witnesses could be Enoch (seventh from Adam) and Elijah because these two never officially died in the flesh. They both are killed by Antichrist, their bodies left in the streets for 3 days and then they are brought back to life and taken up to heaven in front of many witnesses. Clues to this is they have the power to rain fire down from heaven and are called the two olive trees which easily point to Elijah. Zech 4:11-14, Rev 11: 3-7 where we also see that the beast (antichrist) who kills them had come from the bottomless pit--as a resurrected being now in his immortal body. So this antichrist person is one from the past, most likely someone who was the most evil on Earth who caused the most confusion, and led more people away from God and truth than any other man, ever. That would have to be Nimrod. Who the false prophet is, Im not sure yet...maybe Judas Iscariot because he gave up Jesus for money to the High Priest who was under Roman authority, claiming their king was Caesar.

I used to believe the same thing until I researched Bible versions. I’m so surprised how many want to stay with your first explanation. It is safe but in light of what Leviticus clearly says to me is not being genuine. The issue of incest is through the bible, the necessity of it in the beginning , and also Lots daughters when they felt they needed to conceive a child to continue the race as they experienced a major disaster they thought all dead but them. I also was wondering if this is not a broader attempt at usurpation of Noah’s authority by Ham, taking his mother and humiliating Noah , bringing this power play to the attention of his brothers as a sense of I’m assuming leadership, and his brothers deny him and support Noah?

In the KJV it says to see your fathers nakedness can mean two things, Its either his wife that is not your mother or its your father. Nowhere in Scripture does it say who Noahs wife is or that he had more than one wife so the wife of Noah is Hams mother which means Ham did not have sex with his mother. Ham had sex with Noah which is why Noah KNEW just like anyone else would know if they had been anally invaded upon waking up from too much drinking the night before. There is NO WAY Ham did anything perverse with his mother or father. Ham would have been put to death! Canaan's curse was prophetic, since he left his allotted land and took part of Shem's inheritance. Not only that, Canaan would mix with the Nephilim. You are WAY OFF on this and espousing an occult lie. Back in those days children could be stoned to death for being unruly (Deut 21). Not only that, when Lot had an incestous relationship with his daughters, it was in plain language.

There is a non-canonical text called The Book of Lamech of Cain. It takes place before the Flood, and is currently in a private collection, but a translation of it is available on Amazon. Anyway, I've often thought about this subject, and what's interesting about the Lamech literature, is that there is a section in it which claims that Naamah; wofe of Noah was a daughter of Lamech of the tribe of Cain, and she slept around with Nephilim men in her youth as a prostitute. Supposedly, she married Noah many years later and her father told her not to tell him about the exploits of her youth. I personally I agree with the interpretation that Caanan is the product of Ham/Chronos/Utu and Naamah/Gaia. In the Greek mythology, it's interesting that Ham/Chronos castrates Noah/Uranus/Deucalion/Erishguranna/Atram-Hasis/Utnapishtim/Manu/Tezpi, etc. In that context, he castrated his father to usurp his authority as king of Ararat/Aratta/Urartu. The "gods"or the rulers of the bloodline of Noah, later become ruled by Japheth/Jupiter/Zeus/Jove/Pra-Japati etc., and others are deified by their descendants as well. The Sumerian literature indicates that Noah was the priest-king, like his forefathers, and ruled a city by the Euphrates called Shruppak before the Flood. This partially explains how he would have the means to build the ark. Ham seems to have left Aratta to try to re-establish that Kingdom in Shinar/Sumer. His sons became kings ad deifiedhim as Utu/Chronos. In the context of the interpretation of Genesis, we would assume that Naamah was drunk with Noah, they had sex in their tent, and perhaps both fell asleep, and then Ham the usurper, either raped his mother, or convinced her to voluntarily sleep with him because she was very drunk. However, given the description of her youth in the book about the life of her father; Lamech of Cain, it may not have been rape. Drunkenness might have played a big role, but she could have essentially been reverting to her pre-marital nature. People often asked how the Nephilim/Rephaim returned after the flood also, and multiple theories and explanations for that. Personally, I believe children were produced during pagan sexual rituals, and the hosts were possessed by Nephilim spirits, and concieved children who's dna was altered and created a new race of post-flood Rephaim. As crazy that may sound, many theologians do not like the idea of a second Nephilim incursion for which there is little evidence, and they also don't like the idea that wives of pure spiritual and genetic background for Noah's sons. Later in the Greek and Norse mythology we see this relationship between the gods and the Titans or the Aesir and the Vanir. Interestingly, Jotun is mentioned in non-canonical Book of Og also, as one of the giant clan leaders summoned to battle against Moses. This tells us that Norse mythology refers to a time around 4,000 years ago in Scythia/Thrace ad the near East. It is not made clear in any text if the Rephaim came from one particular sons bloodline, but personally I believe they came from the line of Ham.

I bet you're used to being ignored, like me. I've thought all of this for a while. I haven't gotten into all the pagan stories as you have. I read the book of Lamech, found it on the Internet. I believe also, Naamah was either the wife of Noah, or the wife of Ham, and that Ham did have an incestuous act with Noah's wife. However, I've had a hard time sorting it all out because, firstly, I believe in the same respect of Eve and the serpent, and through the lineage of Cain, you come to the sons of the wives of Lamech. In which if you define the names of the sons in order, adding the daughter last; it reads, Flow, Flow, offspring of Cain, Naamah. So, the lineage was carried through the flood, and there was actually never a second influx, just one. You can also see that though, Canaan was cursed, the curse was lifted after the marriage to Esau, changing it to breaking the yoke, when he has dominion in Gen 27. They came under servitude in Jos 9 and later gained dominion in 2 ki 17:24 after the dispersion. It's written lightly although out the scriptures and blatant in Zech 14:21. That's why CHRIST did not argue with their lineage claim in John 8.

Good point on not cursing Ham or condemning him to a death he deserved. Im glad your reading the KJB because it reads a bit different in Levitius than the bible version in this video. In the KJV Leviticus 18 defines seeing your fathers nakedness as being one of two possibilities, 1 its your father, or 2 its your fathers wife, a person not your mother. This means Ham did something worse that have unlawful sex with his mother. He anally abused his father, Noah which is why Noah knew what had happened when he woke up. The sins of the father are passed on and so the Canaanites were into all kinds of sex rituals with anything including animals. Nimrod was also the grandson of Ham and look what he did.

    • @maineiax
      @maineiax 14 днів тому +1

@@dahliaherrod4301 It really depends on the Bible version. The modern Bibles promoted as being easier to understand have added to and taken away from the Word because of copyright laws and because they were created by men who were not even Christian, but instead were spiritualists and necromancers. I can boldly say this after years of searching them out wanting to find the truth and the preserved Word of God. If any of these modern bible versions teach repentance, and some do, one can be saved by them, but they hide the sins that our heavenly Father considers the ultimate abomination and what might be considered the mystery of iniquity when it concerns very young children.
Before I show you why I said what I said, we have to look at what sex laws were allowed at that time because until Moses gave the Law on Mt Sinai, incest was not a problem since after the flood there was only 8 people left and God told them to go forth and replenish the Earth. It would have been unlawful for parents to have sex with their children, but it would be lawful for siblings and first cousins to marry. Abraham married his half sister, Sarah. Mankind's genetics were very pure back then and lifespans still lasted 400-600 years for several generations after the flood.
God created man and woman to be together to procreate and enjoy each others companionship. God did not create men to have sex with men, the way a man would have sex with women, considering that act an abomination. We need this information to understand prophesies and know what time we are in. An end-times prophesy that happens just before Jesus Christ returns is our days will be like in the days of Noah and like in the days of Lot. The days of Noah can be both before and after the flood. The doctrine of Balaam is also part of this mystery. These are a clues to whats going on currently with nations leadership condoning what God calls abominations but they have been watered down or completely removed from some of these modern bible versions.
To understand what it means to uncover someones nakedness, we have to go to the law of Moses in Leviticus 18 where I will post what the KJB says and then we use prayer and the Holy Spirit to meditate on what it says.
Lev 18:7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
Lev 18:8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
When I read that, I look at it as God is talking to me about my family members. My dad had one wife and one marriage.
What I see is the nakedness of my father is separate from the nakedness of my mother because of the word "or" and because in the second half of verse 7 it says my mothers nakedness is her nakedness rather than my fathers nakedness. It says my father has a nakedness and separate from him, my mother also has a nakedness. So if I uncover my mothers nakedness, that means I am having sex with her. If I uncover my fathers nakedness per verse 7, I am having sex with my father.
In verse 8 it says my fathers wife. This woman would be my stepmother because back then a man could have several wives as Jacob did and we need to have a way to label them so my mother is called mother and my step mother is called my fathers wife. . Verse 8 identifies that it is unlawful for me to have sex with a step parent. An example of this is Reuben, firstborn of Jacob and Leah who lost his inheritance because he slept with his stepmother.
Because Noah only had one wife and she was the mother of Ham, it does not say that Ham uncovered his mothers nakedness. It says he uncovered his fathers nakedness.
There was a time when I thought Ham slept with his mother and she got pregnant with Canaan but that was something I heard someone else preach and totally misread verse 7 because I could not comprehend at that time that Ham did something even worse--he anally abused his dad, Noah. Later in the next few chapters we read of Hams grandson, Nimrod. Nimrod was the most evil and powerful ruler ever, so much so, that God came down and knocked over a tower and then scattered all the people into different nations and languages. What Nimrod did was start the mystery religions that all false belief systems today can be traced back to him in Babylon.

      4) The nakedness of thy father, is thy mother's nakedness.
By application, any wife of your father is your mother and you're not to see their nakedness.
I believe you were accurate previously on the sinful actions of Ham, while you "may" also be accurate that he did the same thing to both Noah and his wife solely, which it wasn't the first time it happened. God is omniscient. He knows everything. He prepared a body for His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to come and feel in the flesh, all what man is going through, while He Himself remains sinless, meaning, He doesn't indulge in sin. Hebrews 4:15-16. So, He eventually was condemned as a sinner- study Mark 14:51, the story of the naked young man. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
That was the reason Jesus's sweat were like drops of blood, when He got to the last sin He had to deal with that would condemn Him to shame, torture and consequently, a cursed death on the cross- simply because He was set up in the middle of the night, as He prayed, in the garden of Gethsemane, to be doing stuff the laws condemned with penalty of death, by stoning, but was cranked up to become death by crucifixion on the cross.
Judas kissed him, not a peck in the cheek but a full blown kiss, in order to set him up, but he didn't know his act was just a distraction, the people that hired him, already prepared a worse scenario- using the young guy that fled into the night naked. Mark 14:51-52.
Jesus Christ refused to tattle on him, nor did he ask them to go get him to speak for him, because He came for the very reason, to die for the undeserved, who, if and when they come to this realization, would immediately repent and accept the cleansing power of the blood that bought them. He even became their high Priest, who is touched by the feeling of their infirmity, understanding where they come from, but hoping they will come to Him and cast it all on Him, and take His Rest! He already made that call!!!
Will you answer, will you imagine what they must have done to him, with such a charge, in that day and age? All just to make atonement for every sin conceivable, including what you're struggling with at this moment! Give it all to Him!
Being mad at the preacher will not assuage your guilt and self- condemnation, and self torture and self hatred and self judgment. He already did it all- for YOU!!!
Which of these religious leaders who abbet them ever promised to pray to God for them. How can the blind lead the blind?
Anyone that has encountered God by the preaching of the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and still remain unconcerned and unrepentant, has already forfeited his mercy, and grace that bought him from the devil, who has the power of sickness, afflictions, terror, oppression, death and the grave. No escaping him.
Let the love of God for you, in Christ Jesus, constrain you to listen, receive, accept, confess, believe and abide in His love, justification from all your sins, past, present and future, And live the new life purchased by the shedding of His blood, and by imputting God's righteousness that declared you "faultless, blameless ", before the presence of God, with whom you have to give an account, whether you like it or not! No excuses on that day, for God will definitely be Just and Righteous when He metes out judgment, and all mouths will be quiet!

So to "cover" the father's nakedness, should mean to not have sexual relations with the wife. If we are being consistent with the logic. So lets put it together.....
Its says they took a garment, walked backwards so they wouldnt see their father's nakedness.
So they took a garment walked backwards so they wouldnt have sexual relations with the wife?
      That doesnt make sense.

And his father's nakedness, still means his wife
      Put it together now
They had a garment, walked backwards so they covered their father's wife, so they wouldnt see any one naked.
      That makes sense
Im just giving an idea, that makes everything still consistent and not contradictory.

So, if Ham saw his father's nakedness means he slept with his mother, why did his son's cover their father? It says in Genesis 9:23Then Shem and Japheth took a garment and placed it across their shoulders, and walking backward, they covered their father’s nakedness. Could it just have literal meaning? It is a difference between seeing someone's nakedness and uncovering someone's nakedness. Ham saw his father's nakedness and in Leviticus 20:11-21It says uncover. Ham did not uncover his father's nakedness, he saw his father's nakedness. So, even if it did mean what Sam is saying, that would mean he saw his mother naked, not slept her.

      You're right.
The plain reading of the text IS enough to understand what went on there : the other brothers walked *bacwards* to go and cover their uncovered father.
Why would Moses give this precise info if it meant something sexual happened ?
The text makes mention of Canaan before the father shaming action of Ham, meaning he was already born and wasn't part of the action whatsoever.
Yes but why the curse falling on him ? The descendants of Canaan were certainly cursed, seing how idolatrous they were.
Making the promise to Abraham to inherit the land called Canaan, God tells him the cup of their iniquities IS not yet full, meaning judgement IS pending on the grandsons of Canaan.
Meaning Noah gave a prophecy concerning the cananites, which went to be fulfilled through the israélites. God asked them to destroy the cananites totaly, that was their judgement, for living in fornication and idolatry, owing to what Canaan did.
He IS a Hamite and has no business in Shem's territory. If you read the book of Jubilees, you'll get a better understanding of what went on for Canaan to become accursed (spoiler alert: cursed by his father Ham and brothers, i said Noah just prophesied, but better go and read for yourself, it just makes sense)

From Noah's three sons, Ham had the last son amongst them, who was Canaan, the youngest or younger
There seems to be an untold story here???
The literal reading said, Ham saw his father's nakedness and told his brothers who were out side the tent.
You have Canaan being born of his father's mother.
The sequence of Canaan being cursed is after Shem and his brother having covered up their father.
So, when was Canaan born in this story, or was he in the tent with Noah, and the full story untold as to why Noah cursed Canaan.

Its the Bible version that makes it confusing. All the modern Bible versions are copyrighted. This means with each new edition, the owner has to change the Word of God per the copyright laws of men.
Older versions, like the King James 1611 Bible wording is not copyrighted which means with each new edition the words of God have to stay the same and have since 1611.
Also in Lev 20, the last 8-9 verses state that because of the abominations done by Canaan, God was taking their nation from them as punishment.
Ham was also the grandfather of Nimrod and Nimrod might be the evilest ruler in the history of the world because all the occult religions today still secretly worship him.

In Gen. 7:13, and Gen. 10, shows the order in which they were born.
Shem, Ham, and Japhet, but it's interesting how the story of Noah and the younger son is told in chapter 9 when in chapter 10, Shem began to have his first son two years after the flood.

I don't think so. Sam does bring out some good points, but I think he also leaves out others. First off, I DO NOT believe that it was Ham that disrespected/sinned against his father. Here is why.
Deut. 24:16 “Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin.
EZEKIEL 18:20b The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Now let's look at Gen. 5:32 it reads, And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
In the OT when births are recorded, they normally record them in the order of their birth because of birthrights. Notice that Noah was 500 years old when he begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. I believe that these boys were triplets born in the order given. That means that Ham IS NOT the youngest and scripture says it was the youngest son that did something wrong.
The next thing to know is that during that time period there was no Hebrew words for grandfather, grandmother, grandchild, grandson, granddaughter and so on. Yes, there are translations that uses those terms, but they are not in the Hebrew. This was a patriarchal society and the oldest living male in a genealogical line would always be called father by the children and the children's children. So consequently, Canaan was the youngest and it was he who did something wrong against Noah or perhaps with Noah's wife according to; Lev18:8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness. .
So how do we know that Canaan was the youngest son of Ham? Gen 10:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. Notice Canaan is listed last which means he was the youngest.
This is why Noah did not curse Ham. Ham simply saw something happening or that had happened, and it happen at the hands of Canaan thus he was cursed. This is my opinion based on what scripture we have.

@@ginjordom6065 what was on the mind of Ham I am not sure. I assume it is possible that he held the attitude that you stated, but since scripture does not directly say that or rebuke Ham, I think that the shock at what he saw could have pushed him to share it with his brothers and they acted on what he told them. Just not enough information to put a fine toon on what took place, but whatever it was it was serious.

    • @maineiax

It is a good explanation, but its not quite true because the various modern Bible versions are all a little different...possibly by design.
The modern Bible versions are copyrighted. This means with each new edition, the owner has to change the Word of God per the copyright laws of men. Because of copyright laws, modern Bible versions can be full of inconsistencies and even contradictions. I know this has frustrated me and many others wondering who to what to believe.
None of the older Bible versions like the King James 1611, Geneva, Bishops, or Tyndale's are copyrighted and they are all basically the same being translated from the correct manuscripts, the masoretic Hebrew old testament and the Greek Textus Receptus new Testament though except for the KJV the older versions are in Middle English and a bit more challenging to read, though not impossible.
The King James 1611 Bible wording is not copyrighted which means with each new edition the words of God have to stay the same and have since 1611. If charts, dictionaries or study notes are added, those could be copyrighted but the words have to stay the same, being preserved since the Protestant Reformation. The new modern Bible versions are made from different manuscripts originally commissioned by Rome in 325 AD and were changed to fit what Rome wanted which was to unite all people under a religion of control and pretend it was Christian. Interestingly all the Bible study tools are used to define the modern versions and try to apply those modern definitions to the older unadulterated Bible versions so its best not to use dictionaries or read study notes because they might mislead us.
What did Ham really do when he saw his fathers nakedness? In the older Bible versions, Lev 18 clearly says that Ham had unlawful sex with Noah, not his mother. It clearly defines what seeing the nakedness of different individuals are unlike the version read from in this video which like many other modern versions tries to hide unlawful sex between men.
