Considering all the different models of Kubota excavators it would have been helpful if you had mentioned which one you were servicing.
LED bulbs are turning on and off, the flickering on video becomes more pronounced and obvious because the camera's recording frames per second is unaligned with the frequency of electricity. This is called the 'strobe effect'.

Idk about napa but carquest filters are made by wix. All the wix filters I've bought are made in USA. Only a few different companies make filters. Chances are the color is the only difference. Lol

Just bought a new kx057-5. Guess I’ll find out about price of filters , but unless the price is crazy high I’m gonna use kubota filters.
Great video with lots of clear shots. I own a 2017 KX 33-4 that has a battery on its way out. Will the battery come straight up and out? Looks really tight. Thanks in advance for any one’s answer.

I do the same with my filter replacement. OEM is outrageously high most of the time.
As a matter of fact ... most all the OEM filters, not just the oil filter, are way high.
Why did you get rubber tracks and open control station? Seems like it would be much more comfortable with heat, AC, stereo. . .what do you do when you disturb a huge nest of ground Hornets? Just abandoned the machine and come back after dark?
Did you wait until 500 hours for the first oil change or service? I know the drive motors get done at 50 hours but 500 seems like a long wait for the first oil change
First service was at 100 hours.
Question, does the electric fuel pump run all the time the key switch is on or do it reach press and shut off if you choose not to start the engine? I have a kubota 161-3 and it runs continues weather the engine is running or not. Not familiar with the Kubota system. Thanks

Are you sure these NAPA after market filters are rated strong enough for the high output / pressure generated by the hydraulic & Diesel engine on your excavator..?
Do you actually believe that Kubota makes the filters that bear their name?

I have a Kubota kx040 and was doing the oil change . When I read the manual also shows a oil separator filter.. But couldn't find it.. any can help me with that..?

Have to do with the electricity runs at 60 HZT/S and the camera can see it cycles
What about the swing gear oil, water separator and grease, clean the cab & wash the machine..🤣 just giving you a hard time.. Enjoy the videos..!!
watched the whole video to learn how much grease the three fittings take on the turntable. Didn't even address it. :) do you just lay the grease to it until you see it squeeze out the old?
One of those 3 ur referring to greases the barrel end of the side shift cylinder. The other 2 are turn table and you just grease them 5-8 shots each time you grease the machine. Hope this helps.

@@radioace318la You grease turntable nipples on 4 angles, one goes to swing bearing teeth and it takes way more that 4 or 5 pumps, approx 20 to 30 in each position. This is done every 50 hrs. The other is swing ball bearing and you apply 5 shots at each position. This is done every 200 hrs. U gotta be careful to not over-grease this one. Thats for my 5ton kubota.

@@cotontop3 ok that makes sense to by them where I'm at there is not to many Napa stores around so I go to bumper to bumper and by my wix filters for my truck and also I watch a lot of your videos and I like the work you do you are a very Knowledgeable on a lot of stuff and I plan to one day come to one of your saw classes I have been running a saw since I was 14 but I'm no pro and I do have a little trouble with making my face cut exact same every time

It looked like you put grease on your filter o ring. That is a no no, the filter will vibrate off and you lose all your oil. It is slicker than oil, I had this happen to me 2 times until I was told what the problem was from the manufactor.
I put engine oil on the oil filter seal and fuel on the fuel filter seal.
