Hi Katie and Spencer- You mentioned about treating the cast members with respect, I strongly agree with that. They deserve the highest appreciation possible for their work on caring Walt's life and legacy forward. There is something so unique about them that brings out that faith, trust, and pixie dust to their everyday jobs. Thank you for these tips and I'm so thankful for you guys!!
So glad you mentioned the Disney Staff. They are so kind. I don't know how they do it. But they make the experience better than any amusement or theme park.
"the disneyland railroad".....the thing to remember about disneyland park,is that it was created to be walts train layout....disneyland would have never been built,if it wasnt for his love of trains. he built the park,to give you a ride on his railroad..he kept ownership of the trains himself, and when he wanted to,he would tell the engineer he was going to take a lap...and no one could tell him no..(just think about how special that would be,to have walt disney himself driving your train)..when you come to disneyland, make sure that you take a lap on the train....and see the park the way walt wanted you to see it. from the train.a grand circle tour is always in order.
Great tips!! Thank you. My most favorite thing is the history of Didneyland. Its the little things that make it great. I like the Disney cats too. Its fun trying to find them. I saw one by the water in frontierland.
I appreciate these kinds of videos. So many people aren’t local and only get to come ones every few years and since Covid things are sooo different. I love these helpful tips that make the experience so much more smooth. Appreciate you guys. I hope to run into you at the parks again soon ❤
Is there a bathroom around the main lines. I don't mind going early but I need a bathroom, my friends can hold the spot while I hit the bathroom.. anyone know
If you mean outside of the park, there are two bathrooms in the Esplanade area between both parks… One of them is located near the lockers outside of the park between the locker area and the picnic area to the left of the entrance of the park if you are facing Disneyland… If you are going to Disney California adventure, the other bathrooms are located next to The entrance of that park also on the left-hand side if you are facing DCA
Thanks for mentioning the shoes! We are headed to Disneyland next month and I've been looking for a good pair of shoes. I ordered the Bondi 8s and got them yesterday Yay!
You mentioned bonanza outfitters will hold purchases. Will they hold any purchase from anywhere? And does that include lightsabers, so you don’t have to hike back to galaxies edge at the end of the day?!
Thanks for the video. When we first visited Disneyland in 2022, we only subscribe to 2 UA-camrs and now we also subscribe to your channel. We will fly 8,600 miles to Anaheim in June 2024. Could Genie plan our trips and rides to the less walk as possible? Last time we walk 30,000 steps daily.😅. Thanks. 🎉
The fireworks viewing advice was spot on! I wish I would’ve knew that sooner. We always watch it from far on main st but we though we’d wait the 3 hours for a front row castle view. Never again! Wayyy to many people walking by, lots of chatter and cast members yelling at guests to keep moving, many people wanted to stop and watch. Totally ruins the experience. And to top it off a tree blocked the entire view of the fireworks.
I have to agree with your comments. I have worked as a cast member at Disneyland Park. I was one of a few people who would be happy to interact with the guests. I was part of Custodial Guest Services. I have worked at one time or another all hours of the day. During rain or shine. I enjoyed my time interacting with our guests. When I visit Disneyland, I still try to be as helpful to my fellow Park guests as if I am still a cast member.
the custodial team makes the most magic of all cast members....rule one for walt, was that his park would be clean.everything else in the park, starts and ends with it being clean.every set piece and storyline depends on it. the team in white, makes that happen...where you will not see so much as a piece of popcorn on the ground, never mind any trash. the team in white works their asses off making disneyland what it is.
Thank you! We took my grandaughter, who has autism, to Disneyland a year and a half ago. The staff were so awesome! In the Pieces of Eight she had her heart set on the pirate coins in the machines, but they weren't working. It was late in the evening and had been a long trying day for all of us, and we told her time and time again that we were sorry, but they weren't working. The man that was trying to get them repaired overheard the situation and came over with a large handful of the precious coins and gave her! My daughter and I were wiping our tears and just wanted to hug the wonderful staff member who made the day wonderful for all of us!
@markwalker95 the cast members who make that special Disney Magic the most of the magic are those who work when the park is closed. These are the Third Shift workers. These are those cast members who clean, rearrange the flowers, and repair the attractions. I would tell my fellow cast members that "Day Custodial cleans at, but Third Shift Custodial cleans up." Without Day Custodial, the job would be impossible for Third Shift Custodial. All Disney Resorts are washed down every night with a high-pressure water hose. This is why when you walk into any Disney Property, you will find things wet.
How incredible! And so greatly appreciated it’s for sure at the top of the magical list for sure! My husband and I are always so amazed with how spotless it always is! people are crazy messy and at Disneyland you’d never know 😉😊
Question, what do you mean by reservation? If make the purchase online to enter the park I have to call to reserve that I’m going? Sorry first time and don’t have a clue 😂
Geez, I remember in the 80s and 90s you can just come to Disneyland and enjoy the day. now it's a total planned rushed production with all the stupid passes, apps and extra fees. also Families pay $1200 to get there family in the park, they feel they have to rush do get there monies worth and are unable to enjoy and the fun "in-between" stuff to see and do. To me Disneyland has lost a lot of the magic
I love the cast members also! Although, the last time we were there, a few months ago, every cast member encounter on attractions, was yelling! “Move forward, fill n available space, etc.! “. Knowing how little they are paid, and under stress, I’m sure, I am always kind to them.❤️ no matter what ❤️
Love my Hokas! Also be careful with the shoe covers! I have them to and they can be very slippery. I ATE IT when I stepped on a man hole cover when it was wet. Horrible!!
Hi Katie hi Spenser. So I was there on Tuesday morning for rope drop was at front of line to do haunted house with my 3 grandsons. We walked fast got there to line in front so excited only to have it closed. So then we ran over to rise of the resistance and it too was closed. So was Indy. And I think also Matterhorn. We stayed in line for Rise. While we waited they finally opened and waited I. That line for 30 minutes. What’s up with Disney??? So frustrating but we made the best of it
I don’t know why I’m crying lol! 🙈🙊 amazing pointers and yes please please be nice to the amazing cast members!! And the ducks!! Watch out for ducklings too! As you guys say look up! But don’t forget to look down! … back to the cast members lol amazing incredible people no matter what role they play I spent a good portion of my day thanking anyone I came across I couldn’t help it they may have only just been in the vicinity but I was so grateful to be there and for the work they do! I bet it sounds like a dream job and they’re called cast members for putting up with us lol!! Be kind or be quiet! Somethings are out of their hands and they don’t make the rules they’re there to make sure EVERYONE has a good time 🩵p.s I tell everyone about your channel because of how amazing you both are too! 🩵
Rope drop! It is the best idea to get on many rides all within an hour or two. Then by 9:30/10 jump into the “no line” at tiki hideaway. It was a great morning snack to grab some lumpia and sweet rolls! All six of us then got more energy and jumped into Indy next door. This is our family of six successful routine. Use your genie plus starting in afternoon. Never morning 😊
THIS WAS A GREAT VIDEO!!!! My daughter and her family were at Disneyland on Tuesday and Wednesday. It had been over five years since their last visit. They did make their reservations! After that, everything went downhill. They needed to watch this video. Lol! however, it was posted a day too late! They arrived late to the park. They grabbed Genie Plus and had trouble figuring out which rides and when to reserve a time. Needless to say, they traveled 5,000 miles and tried to make the best of a very frustrating vacation. And yes, one of the best part of the trip was the cast members!
Absolutely love your videos. You both do an incredible job giving tips and information to those of us who go to Disneyland every couple years for all the new changes. Been a subscriber for a year now keep the videos coming.
I needed this video in July! It hurt my entire soul to buy that $30 fuel Rod! Made myself feel a little better by considering it a Disneyland “souvenir”. 🤣
We still love sitting front row for fireworks! We are always checking the weather app to make sure we are making the best decision, and it hasn’t failed us yet 🙌🏻 Feeling the heat of the fire and getting perfect view of Zero during Halloween Screams makes the crazy wait (I know, it truly is crazy to wait that long haha) 100% worth it for my little ones. My parents made Disney so magical for us growing up, so I try to do that for my babies! Loved this video 👏🏻
Love the video and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are thinking of moving to Florida just us together someday and want to meet you guys some day at Disney land and me and Michael are going to Florida for Christmas time

You mentioned bonanza outfitters will hold purchases. Will they hold any purchase from anywhere? And does that include lightsabers, so you don’t have to hike back to galaxies edge at the end of the day?!
Yes they will! (Unless there was a very recent change)
girl! please tell me the name and style of your sunglasses! I love them. And those ears are so pretty on you!

I would to see you guys ride the Disneyland train at night to see the park all lite up with the Christmas lights 🎄 🧚♀️
The ending with the Monorail exiting the shot. Chef's kiss.
Thank you for this video I learned alot for my next disney trip 😊
Question, what do you mean by reservation? If make the purchase online to enter the park I have to call to reserve that I’m going? Sorry first time and don’t have a clue 😂
Indiana jones ride would be more fun if it wasnt so rough
Thanks! 😊
Can't get enough of the do's & don't vlogs 👍🏻
I would add don’t feed the Disney ducks. That can make them aggressive.
great tips!! what would be something that we can give to the cast members as a thank you? can they accept gifts/cards?
Getting their name/location and making a Cast Compliment at City Hall is the best way.
Nice shot of the monorail at the end! ❤

Love Disneyland! So much to see and do and the cast members are awesome and so are you!😊
I just got Hokas which I will be wearing on our November trip. We even got rain gear and rain shoe covers (Amazon).
Love my Hokas! Also be careful with the shoe covers! I have them to and they can be very slippery. I ATE IT when I stepped on a man hole cover when it was wet. Horrible!!

Don't forget to order 3 corn dogs. Tell the cashier they're for your kids, but they're actually all for yourself.
😂😂😂🙌🏼 great tip
My favorite tip: Bonanza Outfitters in Frontierland will hold your purchases for FREE👏🏽
Thanks guys!!!
Great video Spencer and Katie

The cast members these days are rude arrogant and ignorant. Not all, but alot of the people they hire these days suck.
