I got so fed up of my boats bobbing around while trying to unload that I added a sliding track boom with a magall on the end. The magall has the exact length to leave my hoppers under the unloading crane, so I just go parallel to the dock, extend them and wait
I have made a request that the devs add bollards next to the fishing cranes, so we can park our boats easier before fiddling with the crane, but it needs more upvotes so they will priorities it. hint hint nudge nudge.
Try angling some hoppers in the back so when the fish go to the back of the boat they go into the hopper. Pretty much where the hopper is the back wall on the boat.
Now you need to build a dedicated trawler, raise the deck out of the water, deepen the draft of the ship, add better steering somehow, and figure out how to get the nets up and over the sides of the ship better. You could even lower the hoppers with a funnel to them so the fish can't just jump over the side anymore.
Watching you trying to turn that boat reminds me of that scene from Austin Powers where he doe the 500 point turn in the tunnel with the little electric cart thing!
if you have time for afking, you can grab yourself an fishing rod, trow the line close to the net while trawling, to get some even more extra fish edit:works better if you have a set of nets covering the water surface edit2: one set of nets has an weight limit or fish limit, i noticed that when fish we're literally going through the nets edit3: it may help using pivots to with propellers to park these ships around, this avoids much headaches with lining up your ship with the fish seller
put a magall on a winch and that way you can connect the mag all to the fish boom or right under it and winch your boat into an unloading position. i don't know why i never thought of that for my own creations but watching you bumble around like a drunk monkey made me think of it
if you dont mind cheesing the game, instead of running single net (4 anchors in the corners), run multiples. I run 9 nets in space of one (each corner has 9 anchors). Any fish that doesnt get caught in first net passes through to 2nd net. that raises fish cap from 64 to 576 per "net". In 40min IRL i can catch about 3k fish (gotta unload it every 12min or so). Last time i checked that was worth like 300k.

Nice sunrise "shot".
I feel like the fish sucker thing needs to have rope anchors on it. So you can pull the boat to it.
it does

Why don't you stop the boat when unload the catch?
