- The Okanagan Basin Water Board hosted its 11th Okanagan Water Supply Webinar on May 9, 2023.
We were joined by staff from BC River Forecast Centre, B.C. Ministry of Forests (Regional Water Management, Resource Management, as well as Public Safety & Protection regarding Okanagan lake level management), the International Joint Commission's Osoyoos Lake Board of Control, and Okanagan Nation Alliance fisheries dept.
Updates were provided on Okanagan reservoir levels, snowpack, and groundwater, Okanagan and Osoyoos Lake level management, and an outlook on the local fishery.
The update is intended to help understand the valley’s flood and drought risk in the months ahead and help communities prepare. - Наука та технологія
