As for Egyptian trains, the local trains are dirty and they used to not allow tourists on those trains but you can sneak in. We did that from Cairo to Alexandria.
There is a tourist class train and a departs from the Giza Station ( that’s where the pyramids and the necropolis are ) and goes to Aswan. It is a sleeper train and the fare was $35 when we traveled and it’s a much cleaner train meant for tourists. They also provide you free dinner and morning coffee and snacks.
The local trains are not well maintained and paying $30 for it is a ripoff.
The Nile is the longest river in the world but not the longest. The Nile discharges about 4400 cubic meters of water per second. By comparison, the Amazon discharges 200,000 cubic meters per second at its mouth and its 150 kms wide at the mouth. The largest river in Africa by discharge is the Congo River and it discharges 40000 cubic metres per second.

They used to have the same restrictions before that tourists are not sold tickets on the local trains but they were lax and you could buy a ticket that costs only $2 or $3 and ride it. We did that the first time to go from Cairo to Alexandria. I guess now, they just want to milk the tourists for $30 which is still not bad unless you are from a developing country.
Transit Bytes seems to be a notoriously cheap bloke lol Always pinching his pennies and he missed going to a lot of places in Luxor which takes about 4-5 days minimum to explore.
Also, there is plenty of vegetarian options in Egypt and in general, Middle Eastern food. Kinda funny to see him carry food from India just to save a few bucks. You could get food poisoning with all that heat making the food grow bacteria and you would be in the toilet for a week.

From my experience in Egypt, the locals were very friendly but a lot of places have people who will instantly rip you off any chance they get 😅 Konjam soodhaanama dha irukanum. Old Cairo was in such a bad condition. Namma oorula kuda avalo mosamana conditions la makkal vazhndhu naa pakala. Thottaale norungi vizhundhudum pola buildings ellam. The people there were friendly though. Avangaluku therinja broken English la avangalaala mudinja help pannaanga. We stayed in Helipolis which was much better but travelled frequently to the Giza area and Aswan. Overall, Egypt was a unique experience.

Actual time depends on longitude and duration of sunshine and sunset depends on latitude along with weather. Thats why Meghalaya faces early sunshine and sunset whereas Gujarat faces late sunshine and sunset. Similarly Jammu faces long sunshine hrs during summer and short during winter. But cities near equator faces 12 hrs of sunshine throughout the year.
There is another concept called day light savings during summers in temperate regions.

26:60. பிறகு, சூரியன் உதிக்கும் நேரத்தில் (ஃபிர்அவ்னின் கூட்டத்தார்) இவர்களைப் பின் தொடர்ந்தார்கள்.
فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ.
26:61. இவ்விரு கூட்டத்தினரும் ஒருவரையொருவர் எதிரே கண்டபோது: “நிச்சயமாக நாம் பிடிபட்டோம்"" என்று மூஸாவின் தோழர்கள் கூறினர்.
அதவாவது ஃபிர்அவ்ன் தன் படைகளுடன் நதியின் மறு கரையில் வந்து சேர்ந்துள்ளதைக் கண்ட மூஸா நபியின் தோழர்கள் பயந்து நாம் பிடிபடுவோம் என்ற அச்சத்தில் பதறிப்போய் விட்டார்கள். இதற்கு மூஸா நபியின் ஆறுதல் பேச்சு அவர்களை தைரியமூட்டியது.
قَالَ كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ.
26:62. அதற்கு (மூஸா), ""ஒருபோதும் இல்லை! நிச்சயமாக என் இறைவன் என்னுடன் இருக்கிறான். எனக்கு சீக்கிரமே அவன் வழி காட்டுவான்"" என்று கூறினார்.
அதாவது ஃபிர்அவ்ன் தன் படைகளோடு பின் தொடர்வான் என்ற செய்தி அவருக்கு ஏற்கனவே கிடைத்திருந்து. எனவே இறைவனின் அறிவிப்பு ஒருபோதும் தவறாக இருக்காது. அதிலிருந்து காப்பாற்றிக் கொள்வது எப்படி என்ற திட்டமும் அவரிடம் இருந்தது.
فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْبَحْرَ ۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍۢ كَٱلطَّوْدِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ.
26:63. உம் சகத் தோழர்களுடன் நதியைக் கடந்துச் சென்று விடுங்கள்" என்று மூஸாவுக்கு வஹீ ஏற்கனவே வஹீ அறிவித்தோம். மேலும் அந்நதி மிகவும் ஆழமாக இருக்கும். அதன் இரு கரைகள் பெரும் மலை போன்று இருக்கும் என்று ஏற்கனவே அறிவித்து இருந்தோம். இதை இன்னொரு இவ்வாறு வருகிறது.

I visited Luxor, the people here to be very friendly. If you're looking for a retro experience, it's a must-visit destination. It's advised for foreigners to pay in USD. The atmosphere is reminiscent of India

With regards to the railways, even our national carrier does the same thing... Non-Indians have to pay in $$ with the same amenities that we people have... Perhaps the cleanliness is a factor, but then some of our trains too are in that category... I am not mentioning the names... But it is high time that all countries stop this high charging from tourists... My opinion!

@@Transitbites yes, you have foreigner quota on trains. Check in IRCTC. When u enter passenger names, you should enter their nationality as well. Its set to Indian by default, but you need to change that nationality if you are a foreigner. And then you check the total pricing of Indian ticket vs foreigner ticket at the end.
@@XYZDJ-j5d I checked. The fare is the same as what we Indians pay. Passport details, DOB idhellam mattum enter pananum ticket book panrapo avalo dhan. This has been the case for some of the countries I checked. Maybe vera edhachum countries select panna ticket fare increase aaguma nu therila. But sila major countries in America and Europe select panapo no change in fare.
