We Are a Branch of the largest fight organization in the country, STREETBEEFS. The Scrapyard was created in 2020 by "Firechicken", a former Amateur MMA fighter, Wrestling coach, and Boxer. The main branch of STREETBEEFS was created in 2008 by Chris Wilmore aka Scarface. Streetbeefs as a concept was created in order to stop street violence with it's "Guns down, Gloves up" movement. The Scrapyard holds monthly fights in our Pacific northwest location. No money is involved in any way, we do not pay fighters or charge any sort of admission to our events. We aim to give people a place to start their combat sports journey, meet people, solve beefs, or just test out their abilities.

For real, it was like watching the eternal yin-yang manifest itself. With a touch of modernity, since Chaos was clearly winning. I am left in stupefaction.

To be clear from the start Solo is my all time favorite. But to be totally honest, I feel the other guy deserved the nod because other than the 2 times he got hurt I feel he was the aggressor throughout and landed the most shots. But I could be wrong if the 2 times he was hurt he got standing 8's. Even if guys like Solo aren't technically gifted the entertainment value is off the charts.

They weren’t knockdowns they were takedowns, Pappas saw and kicked his leg and tripped him because the dude went for a high kick like every time he was fighting half the fight on one leg.

Ironically, this may be the best performance against Solo since the first one, where the guy quit rather than hurt Solo.

The sportsmanship in this fight is great. Real talk, when solo gets downed by that kick and his opponent tries to help him up. That's great.

Solo may not have the fitness or skill… but his heart and entertainment value is UNDOUBTED.
what i like about Solo is that there are moments in his fights where he legitimately looks so upset with himself for being in there, but then there's that smile as if to say, "That'll teach ya."

@@Bshelley1981 Solo, you are a living legend. Been a fan of Streetbeefs for a long time now, and what you bring to it is something special.
Would love to see you keep doing what you do. Speaking as a huge fan of yours, I think you'd have an even better performance against most opponents if you utilized more punches. You're a good puncher, you just seem to forget that you're allowed to for most of the fight.
I know you like to focus on kicking, and your kicks are way more deadly now than they were in your first fights, but after you've thrown a leg or head kick - and then your opponent is too close for you to kick again, I think you'd be lethal if you then immediately threw a punch or two to the head, every time.

A Solo fan
Solo is a pretty darn good athlete. I’m 53 and keep in shape and I know he would kick the crap out of me.
This was amazing, a ton of respect to both fighters for putting up a show with flying kicks, acrobatic moves, dance moves, blood, punches, vicious kicks, takedowns, taunting, and more.
Special mention to one of my favorite Streetbeefs referees, great job.
You guys are warriors and IMO the fight was very close, we need a rematch as it seems clear that both of you are improving.

I hope you develop your own style. Looks like you bait a lot. There is a training method somewhere that capitalizes on baiting. You just have to think of what it is and train every physical and mental skill needed to take advantage of it.

This was fun to watch, as all of Solo's other fights are.
Another Solo classic for sure.
I understand that the 2 kicks that Solo landed were the most substantial strikes of the fight, but Pappas was clearly dominating every round based on strikes landed.
I think they judge partially on damage done, which favors solo by a lot.
Lol to say they were the most substantial is an understament. Pappas didn't land any shot that had real power or significance to it because of how he wings his shots. It's a fight, not a point karate competition.

I hope he gets paid well for his fights. He certainly deserves it.
I would never go so far as to say this was a "good" fight. Neither one of these guys know much at all about what they are doing. With that said, it is about as well matched as it could be considering both (lack of) skill level. For entertainment purposes, probably the most enjoyable fight of the year for what it is. These guys have spirit for miles. Thanks for putting it out there guys. Fight the good fight.
I think that not only did Solo kick Pappas as, but did a pretty good job on his own as well.
Actually, I think they have more skill than one would realize. 1. Really good cardio/ breath control for big guys...lasted 3 rounds at a good clip. 2. Saw some legitimately good technique: a rolling kick, leg grabs/ sweeps, a hip throw...legit skill 3. Both managed ring space well. Amateur yes, but definite skill. Immensely entertaining.

Solo and papas are literally two of my favorites lol I love solos “yeaahhh” and papas commentary on fights (while fighting) lol I didn’t kno these two legends fought until now
I have watched a lot of fighting from early 90 to now. At least half of every ufc event since ufc 1 and a lot of boxing, but this is the most awesome thing I’ve witnessed ever! Arrhh! Go Solo!
