What if there was a Dalek that's been around since the 1st Doctor, one that never said anything but simply was doing secret self arrangements to learn about the Doctor and how they survived.
Excellent stuff! Not listened to "Jubilee" for quite a while and this makes me want to give it another go. Met Rob Shearman (writer) at a convention about ten years ago and he was SO nice to talk to.
Wow! This is super impressive! Even tho the majority of the scene is just 2 daleks talking, you really captured an engaging cinematic tone, style and look for this fairly simple scene (simple in terms of blocking and action) but REALLY love all the lighting and colour you've brought to the scene. This makes me wish there was a full animation of Jubilee, but this scene is by far, better than anything I could expected! Awesome work! :D
The BBC should focus on animating Big Finish and hire you immediately. There is a gold mine of material with better stories than what is being aired on TV. Your beautiful animation had me from start to finish.
Amazing! Just finished Jubilee and thought I'd come back to this, I must say, I love the set design, such a unique interpretation. I also love the camera angles you use! Can't quite get my head around how you manage to make the Daleks so emotive just based on camera placement. The Supreme looks so judgemental vs the survivor who just looks depressed xD I love it! Thank you for including the Dalek song xDDDD
Incredible! This is a really satisfying take on this scene! I particularly like the way you've rendered the Dalek irises shifting in and out! It all just looks so cool! 🤩
Yes, rdjackson87 made a very well known animation of this scene. Their work has always inspired me!! Here's the video you're thinking of: ua-cam.com/video/oFl43pKWIXU/v-deo.html
An excellent adaptation of the scene. Great design work, color choices, and shot angles. Great all around, and it was a nice touch to make the President's Daleks look slightly off (Design-wise) to emphasize their knock-off status.
Oh hell yeah! I’m just going through the Rob Shearman plays and I’m halfway through The Holy Terror. Once I finish The Maltese Penguin and get onto Jubilee I’m sure I find this even cooler than it already is! This animation is just glorious man! Amazing models and lighting!
Fantastic! The animation is mind blowing and some of my favourite dalek scenes! I was concerned we were only going to get imperial dalek stuff but your 60's dalek stuff is amazing! Some more please!
The captive Dalek (who was tortured to produce Dalek drink products) is what the "Metron", "Recon" and "Rusty" Daleks wish they were. Talking back to his superior and critcising the orders he was given, and his lack of further orders. Also the Singing Daleks are one of the most F'ed up things in all Doctor Who. Mutilated dwarves who were forced to pretend to be Daleks. One even had their hand cut off to fit into his casing better. And The Doctor of the Jubilee timeline had his legs cut off to stop him escaping the Tower of London. Jubilee was messed up.
And for these videos you receive a new subscriber ;) And I know like everyone in the comments are saying this but you did great with the colours 😂 I await to see what else you have in store :)
Well for a Dalek who has both potential for saviour and traitor. Why hello, the psychologist Dalek Sec the reformed, will see you now for you first scheduled cbt therapy appointment, why don't you float into my office and let's talk about it.
I use Blender's Eevee engine for these animations. Not any real reason I use that over the admitedly superior Cycles render, I just think it's a fun challenge to get things to look realistic in Eevee.
Im not sure if youd be willing but i have a suggestion for a project, not sure if your be interested as it would be adapting an existing video Timelash from what ive been able to gather is a story that was originally intended as a dalek story And looking at it, it seems pretty obvious this was the case, the androids were obviously daleks and the borad - davros, the timelash obviously part of the daleks time corridor, even the androids speech parterns are reminiscent of dalek voices It seems they got 2 dalek stories at the same time and they chose the stronger story feom what ive been able to gather And with a few lighting changes and inserted cg daleks in place of the androids It might be fun to see what it was originally intended to be
A fantastic story and a fantastic animation, keep up the great work! (I've just subbed to you BTW) By the way, if you're still accepting video requests, could you give animations of stories like The Mutant Phase or The Juggernauts a try? I honestly am okay with whatever one you pick.
Yeah, I noticed there was some weird feedback or echo in my recording of the tracks too. To save on hard disc space, I recorded the tracks from Spotify with OBS, so not really sure what went on there. Sorry about that!!
@@therealcrizz2719 if you want, I can send you the audio of the episodes if you wanted to reupload it. I've got the eps on download so the audio will be a lot clearer.

Some fierce colours!!! 🤭
@@therealcrizz2719 😂💕
The best adaptation of this scene out of all of them. No competition. The new winner.
Nice touch with the hole in the eyestalk, keeps continuity with how it was tortured earlier in the story.

Your use of colorful lightning is extraordinary! I also just love the singing Daleks
They will achieve world domination with their egg whisks 🥚
DALEKS DO NOT SING!!!!!!
Excellent work! This is probably one of the best scenes in who history featuring only daleks.
When meeting with the Daleks, it will be necessary to play around with their voice filters - and then watch the "music battle".

Worth of being displayed on the Big Screen, so bloody good.
Technically, it already has been made for the screen with 2005’s Dalek.
As someone obsessed by daleks I can say these animations are amazing ..u should do a whole film
Excellent adaption of Jubilee- one of my all time favourite Big Finish audios!

The voices in this story are crazy harsh. It's really effective.

I couldn't stop laughing at that.
ANAZING! I’m mind blown on how high quality this is
Oh my god! I’m so glad I suggested this!
I lost it at the singing “daleks”

@@therealcrizz2719 Scherzo and Terror Firma are two of my only 10/10s in Doctor Who. It is indeed a breath-taking story!
