Less than a minute and a half in and I've already learned something new! I had no idea you could just right click the backpack onto a storage controller to deposit items!!! Thanks! Appreciate the content as always!
You'll need the Deposit upgrade, but it's AMAZING!
The xi ore is used with kivi bricks or stone bricks to make them give off a glowing color in the lines of the bricks themselves. Stuff looks dope
I like the aluminium ones best. Does loads more than just kivi or stone, they work on most of the brick blocks.

Hi Alfred.I am actually also going for the all the mods star and one of my favourite item i could possibly make was the acceleration wand from the roots classic mod.Basiclly its a wand that can accelerate almost anything you can imagine including mobs and if you could do one you could be a lot faster on the speedrun.Good video by de way.
Same here. I also recommend to you and Alfred to make a Time in a Bottle ASAP. Longer it's in inventory, it accumulates time, and can be used to accelerate tasks. so so helpful.
as a noob modded mc player your slow gameplay with tips and tricks while you play is my favorite just my opinion tho

silly idea: if there's create, you can use a rope pulley on a 22x22x22 empty cube, fill it with xp buckets by putting the rope down and pumping liquid xp in, then it'll just consider it as an infinite source of liquid xp

Some modpacks disable the bottomless feature of create. Check if the chosen liquid has bottonless tag in it by searching "$bottomless" in JEI search

Hey Alfred, found your channel last week and I've never learned so much about modded Minecraft in such a short period of time! By the way, I did use your farm but I swapped out the wither skeletons for slime as I don't need any skulls.

@@AlfredGGMCYou can also use drowned zombies for copper/flesh and beach creepers for sand, prismarine shards, nautilus shells and gunpowder. I find the beach creepers pretty helpful for crafting conduits to upgrade your spawners in ATM 9.
Seeing as how you went for Iron Crafters, i've been having issues with them deleting all of the patterns inside on mutliple occasions. Seen a couple of reports about this on the github page for that mod aswell, so be carefull going forward. The Reborn storage mod however is amazing, altough slightly more expansive to setup at first.

Ok so you want to know what is the best mob to swab in atm8??
It’s the stoneling from quark.
You will need a dragon egg for the spawner because he only wants to spawn down at deepslate level but he drops… all the great stuff. Diamonds, gold, iron, ender pearls, golden apples, lapis, redstone… forget the cave creeper. And also heart of diamond. A pickarang with silk touch and sharpness IX is the second best offhand weapon in the pack. Plus spawner fetcher.

Each guy drops only one, one thing which you can mine down at the level where they spawn, plus a heart of diamond. So you gotta max the spawner out with candied spider eyes and ghost tears and all that.,
But then yep, makes cave creeper, witch & enderman spawners redundant. That list above is not complete, also coal & emeralds and probably a couple others I can’t remember right now, it’s a huge loot table. Enjoy.
Also if you do it in a different dimension (compact machine 😉 ) witches hat now come in god forged flavour…. I used to use forgotten for that but now some update at some point, now you get it from witches.

Just wanna add, you’ll get a metric tonne of horse armour all 3 colours from the stoneling spawner too, be sure to push all those through a silent gear salvager or two and your diamond iron and gold farm is done.
Invest in reach early game (emeralds in silent gear bracelet and ring..) because the stoneling is very shy, gotta sneak up on him
Nice vid as usual, Couple things though;
1) Ars Nouveau; Projectile Form + Break Glyph + Extract Glyph + Pickup Glyph = Ranged Spawner picker upper. Like from across the room and it's easy to setup, no more scrambling to kil all the things and no more carboard boxes, you can pick them up as soon as they are in visual range, often before they even activate, Heck you can mine down to them from above if you know the general location or have some sort of spawner finder. Similarly with the right trinkets (and optionally Battlemage armor) you can turn Projectile Form + Harm Glyph + a couple of Amplify Glyphs into a machinegun that mows down the Ender Dragon in seconds. (And Battlemage armor self repairs without mending and can have threads that do enchant type shenanigans for cheap)
2) Setting up a line of bricks (or some other material, I'm not judgy) off one side of the spawners and putting the redstone links from create on them (instead of on the spawners themselves because the links give redstone in center + 4 directions) allows you to turn specific spawners on and off by giving each of them a frequency(preferably a 2 item frequency if on server). It reduces the spawn area a bit but it allows to protect your server and tps while expanding to as many spawners types as you need I'm up to 24 spawners in mine. I have a vid demonstrating it if you want to see.

I really love how you think outside of the box when it comes to things like your setups and finding Unobtainium! I've played more than my share of modpacks and I'm still learning something from every video you post.
Also, I assume that you have early access to quests like Chapter 3 of the main quest because you're the quest dev? Just wanted to make sure that my quest book isn't broken.

You can upgrade the metallurgic infuser with the factory upgrades so you can cook more items with the one infuser instead of making multiple

You know what's faster than 2 Metalurgic Infusers? 2 Factory ones lol.
facts.
I use my spawner with [witches for Redstone/glowstone] - [zombie pigman for gold/leather(from rotten flesh)] - [enderman for pearls] - [wither skele for heads/coal] - [creepers for catalizing glands(ghast tears and gunpowder)] - [vindicators for emeralds/hearts for health.] never need to worry about these base recourses again. also you dont need a create wrench to change the mode on the redstone links just shift right click :)
For your Power farm, there are different type of infusers like for example the elite infuser and it can infuse like 10 items at the same time, try it please! Also great video

The reason why enchanting Magicbane costs so much as you went on was because you were adding 1 enchantment at a time, making Magicbane have more anvil uses. While Apotheosis does remove the level cap restriction on anvil fusions so you don't get locked out of adding any enchantments from having too high anvil uses, if you want to enchant your magicbane cheaper, you want to try to make Magicbane and an enchanted book have an equal number of anvil uses as each other then fuse them together to get the least amount of cost in levels.
My brain can't understand this as well, so I'm going to research it way more. I get the general idea, I'm struggling on the actual application of it. Thank you for the tip!
Use the two libraries from Apotheosis, that way you just stick your weapon in and it will list all the enchantments available for that item, it will come out as one single book with all the different enchants, and it's much, MUCH, cheaper using the anvil

@@AlfredGGMCbasically he said you want to put as many enchantments as possible on a single book. You will end up w/ one book to enchant the sword instead of one enchantment each time. It works out to be significantly cheaper.
As an example, if you have six enchants you out there on a book, and three in another book. Then compare costs of combing those books or putting them on the sword individually. It may be cheaper enchant the sword w/ the two books instead of combining the books and then enchanting the sword.
You can get really deep as the values per enchant vary. And the order you combine them in can change the total cost, by a lot.

if this was known idk but the day counter was weirding out bc changing dimensions and the day changing in the dim ur in, something along those lines
Reason why stuff is getting so expensive is because you put the enchants on inefficiently so the nbt tag on the sword was more and more
You were right about them nerfing the supply ship, no ender pearl
Start out on older version, get ender pearl, then upgrade world.
Not the worst thing ever. The stack of iron is pretty strong lol
Btw u should install alexs mobs (and maybe) better comabt and irons spell books into atm8, it gives even more endgame content in the form of getting new weapons, optimizing ur spell loadout and getting an avalanche of kangaroos to beat the wardens ass for u

Great video as always. It’s making me want to stop playing ATM7. But I’m 6000 days in and trying to 100% the quests(done), achievements(some of them are brutal) and other dumb things like have every type of bee(ready to go in a hive, in a jar and a spawn egg). I’ve been God for so long I don’t want to go back to punching trees.
Lol let it go mate, starting a new one is where the fun is. Go a completely different route…

The big change I think is what they did to Mystical Agriculture, you can't make an ordinary infusion crystal, you have to make an inferium crystal, then prudentium and so forth. How would you automate this? I've always used an RFtools crafter, I guess you could make several different crafters...buuuuuuut
Just commit all the way to the Master Infusion Crystal in one go, then use that instead.
I think it takes four insanium, so that's a lot of committment, lol
@@rcole1055 As far as I know it should only take Supremium because Insanium is from an addon Mod. And Getting to Supremium/Insanium is easy with even the smallest version of Alfreds MA Farm. And you can automate the process of upgrading the Essences with Sequential Fabricators.
You need four insanium to make the master infusion crystal now, with a supremium crystal at the center

As long as the spawner doesn't have "Remove AI" or whatever it's called, it works.

Is there some kind of easy way to transfer all my items in my AE2 system to my Refined Storage system? Watching your videos made me see the error of my ways and I have begun the conversion to RS but don’t wanna be shift clicking 100s of thousands of items.
try exporting from ae into a chest or something and import into refined
If you want a insane sword use mahou Tsuki my sword does 2000 hps
I don't recommend using any of the pipz mods pipes as they seem very unreliable. Every time I load into the world I have to reset all of my fluid pipes and I will definitely not be using them for a mekanism reactor.
Check out the Eternal Water Block for your reactors. Otherwise, I'm gonna switch to using Points instead.

Absolutely, unless you’re looking for one specific type or the ATM ores. You will have millions of resources in a short amount of time.

bro i got a problem whenever i want to start the mod pack i get the exit code 1 error and i've done everyting even change my windows... i get the same problem in ATM8 and ATM9.. i just tried another modpack(fabric) and it's working... please help it's fucking anoing and i'm getting despred PLEASE
PS: i just tried another pack(forge) from 1,20,1 it douse the same an i tried Vault Hunters 3rd Edition and it works... i think i'm going crazy :)))
Different versions of MC(forge) need different versions of JAVA.(1.12 needs J8, 1.19 needs J17, don't know about 1.20) same for Fabric, you need to make sure you have to correct version of java installed for the version of Forge the pack uses and that your launcher is set to use the correct version as well because you can have multiple versions of Java installed and the launcher you are using will only use the one windows has set as default unless you tell it to use a different version for that specific pack.

i really want to get into modding and whatnot but it just seems like you need such a high level of prior knowledge to know what and how to do things. I have a good pc and it's capable of running just about anything, I'm just overwhelmed by everything.
Take your time! I suggest on just hopping in, then slowly going through quests. Don't feel discouraged by what I do! I've been playing modded for over 10 years now.
I'd suggest on playing through the quests to help you. I make them specifically for new players to modded!
