you should make an ATM tutorial playlist. would of helped so much for someone like me who is just getting into mods. luckily you helped me everytime i had a question on twitch or fast replies on here. but yeah figuring out some of the mods for the atm star grind was crazy difficult.

Tip for people playing ATM9. Incredibly fast spawners generate naturally with the Irons Spells and Spellbooks mod. The spawners are generated with a min Spawn Delay of 10, max of 20, so you won't need to upgrade their speed at all. 1. Using the Wayward Compass, find Catacombs structure in the overworld. You can also use the Structure Compass, but it's expensive to make early game. 2. Explore the Catacombs until you find the broken bridge room (there are usually 2 to 3 of these rooms per structure, but rarely they don't generate so you'll have to find a new Catacomb). 3. Under the bridge, in the area dotted with water, moss, and stalagmites, there will be 4 spawners summoning Evoker Fangs. These spawners can be collected and changed per usual. They are veeeery fast. 4. Just a note, the Catacombs are full of other spawners, but they're not nearly as good as the broken bridge spawners. They just make the whole place rather dangerous if you're doing this early game. 5. If you're having trouble finding the broken bridge room, just remember to listen as you explore. When you're close to the room, the Evoker Fangs will start firing, and they make a lot of noise.

if you have trouble finding a cave creeper for the swab, find a mushroom field biome and go into the caves underneath! They can still spawn there so there are a TON
This is a great video. I built a lower-tier version of this farm on ATM9 since I'm still fairly early-game and don't have all the resources to make it go fast. Three mashers, no upgrades to them, and I'm only able to put some of the upgrades on the spawners (most notably, I don't have dragon eggs yet). I'll continue upgrading things as I get the resources. A few footnotes: 1. Based on my testing, I think the redstone link powers all adjacent blocks in any direction. With only a single redstone link powered, I get activity not only on the spawner it's attached to, but also one spawner above and one spawner below that one. Not a disaster since I don't really need to activate them one at a time, but worth bearing in mind if you try to get clever with redstone links. 2. My cave creeper spawner doesn't seem to work no matter what I do. I suspect this has some requirement on it like biome or the like that I'm not aware of. I'm looking forward to seeing if a dragon egg fixes this. All of the other spawners work fine without. 3. I think I worked out the reasons for choosing the mobs that you did, but I think it's worth calling out that adding skeletons, vanilla creepers, and slimes will produce all the Reliquary drops needed for fertile essence, for those wanting to also follow your video on building the perfect Mystical Agriculture farm. This farm is gonna solve most of the resource problems I'm having in my current run. Thank you!
Your footnotes are correct. The fix I'm correcting for the links is to leave a stone block inbetween each spawner. Not ideal for the height of the building but it'll control what spawns when.

the drop should be a lot higher. The mobs on the lower two blocks will block the lowest 1-2 spawner. Sure max entitys is 32, but with 4 spawners producing up to 16 each thats gonna fill up pretty quick.
Hi, I wanted to add a new spawner but I can't turn it off with the comparator. Not sure whats going on because when I first built it I could do it no problem. Is there something I need to do before hand? Thank you for the great tutorial btw!!

@@AlfredGGMC I'm kind of stupid. I forgot I had quartz in my offhand and what I was really doing was removing the red stone. I took the quarts out of my offhand and was able to apply them after. 100% my error and I appreciate the reply!
I added redstone links below the Mob Mashers and set them to a different frequency, so I can turn them on and off independently from the spawners. Makes it easier to jump in to make some tweaks or change mobs, without the fear of being chopped to bits.
@@NiceEvils the same glass you use to get inside of it, if you put it back into the crafting grid it turns to the other variant that lets mob go into the trap but not you
I haven't seen anyone mention this (from a quick scroll). With functional storage, you can lock/unlock all the drawers linked to a controller by using the configuration card on the controller.
Hey Alfred I love the guides. I think silk touch is easier/better to obtain than the cardboard boxes though. Silentgear brass is copper and, I think, zinc. Really easy to obtain and make early game, no power required, can be reparied, and unlike the cardboard you can actually see which spawner is which
I do like using Silk Touch, but the cardboard boxes can also be used to move chests and stuff. I find it much easier to use/make mainly because a Silk Touch pickaxe from Silent Gear last about 4 hits. It's more of a personal preference!
Boxes are really nice because you can run through a place and disable spawners by boxing them with a single click. Then pick it up, or just use the box to control spawner on/off.
@@erikjohnson9112i mean i just use a lever with a redstone lamp over my spawners, seems a lot more simple that way so you dont have to go into the room with spawners
@@SnyprLife4 it sounds like we are talking about different situations. I am talking about running through a large modded dungeon where you want to incapacitate some spawners quickly and gather them back home to a farm. You are talking about that farm where you already have the spawners. I have not been running ATM 8 for a year or two so I don't know what is easiest in this modpack.
Great Video! My suggestions are a list or a mention what items come from which mod. Like the wireless redstone links that come from Create. Secondly, if you make longer tutorials that you timestamp the video. It just makes it easier to go back and find a certain section. I think you have a great nack for tutorials.
Hello! I followed all of your steps and most of it has been going smoothly... the one thing that has me stumped though is that my backpack isn't sucking up any mob drops despite me having all three magnet upgrades. I also copied the void upgrade steps so I have no idea what the issue is. I built my farm exactly like yours so I would really love to know what the issue might be. Edit: Not my brightest moment... i hadn't switched the magnet upgrade on... my farm is working great thx for the tutorial

I wouldn't say this build is easy when it comes to what you need for the farm but it is really cool. It's a nice little project. Getting all the things you need for your farm and the process of upgrading it. You still need to kill 5 dragons and 5 withers for this. Very worth it in the long run though
I come from the perspective of speedrunning, so I look at things to be a little easier than others lol Getting to the max upgrades can take some time for sure, but with Witches you can speed up the entire process!
Do you know how to get this to work on all the mods 10? everything but the redstone link is there currently and i was wondering if you possibly knew how, i tried using the redstone pen but i am having no luck with it currently, i tried the laserio mod a little bit but nothing to crazy with it to see if it works but to no avail. I have a question someone might be able to answer, hopefully. I made this farm and it works great. i am still early game so i dont have all the things to make it spawn like crazy. My question is: how do I get my items from the drawers? Awesome tutorial btw. I hope you keep making videos like this.
I followed that tutorial to make the mob farm, size of the farm and everything except the dragon egg because I'm still too early in the game to get those. The problem is that the blaze spawn everywhere, not only inside the zone of the farm, which makes it really annoying because I can't let the farm going without being there to kill the ones that spawn around the area. Second problem is that not all the items are being collected, some of them get stuck at the first line of the mob masher. But the tutorial is still good, thank you for your work !
You need to use Blaze Rods to reduce the spawn distance on the Blaze spawner. You can get it down to 1 or 2, and that should stop them from spawning everywhere. The backpack should be close enough to pick up those items if that's what you are using as a collection system, so that's weird that it doesn't pick it up. Hope this helps!

I used armory cabinets myself, but found there is a bug with them, if you extract from them with a pipez pipe or a few other types of pipe, and there's nowhere for the item to go, instead of staying in the cabinet it gets voided. I was using the nbt filtering option of pipez to sort items based on whether they were enchanted/had apotheosis prefixes, or were damaged. This way I could auto-disenchant them dumping the enchants into an enchantment library, the apotheosis equipment I could manually scrap for rarity materials, and the damaged stuff I could maybe dump into a colossal blood chest or something to repair them. You can use extra armory cabinets to make sure there's enough storage on the receiving end, and there are some transport pipes that don't void the items.
Not really sure whats happening i built the farm and everything how it should be and for a while it was running fine but now my slime spawner is not spawning anything i followed the video exactly and did everything like using the egg to ignore conditions but now nothing is spawning (slimes were spawning for a while and now they just arent) i havent changed anything with the spawner and im just confused any help would be great

Nice and easy. Gotta think if i want to redo/upgrade mine, coz i made dreadful dirt + spawners for those specific mobs that are not spawning from it(Vindicator, Blaze,Wither Skel) + Tinted ethereal glass so its dark inside ,but i can go through .
Is there a limit as to how tall it can be? I need a MASSIVE amount of spawners for all the types of mobs I need to grind. Also love the vids! Keep it up!
Definitely amazing video here's a few changes that I would personally make at the start of the game when you're first building the farm don't have a lot of resources like dragon egg etcetera build the structure out of whatever you want to as long as the inside is dark I prefer to use dark glass and dark ethereal glass then again using whatever conveyor or vector plate you want to direct everything in like you did except only use one mob Masher that's all you really need put a redstone controller at the bottom of that as well that way you can turn it on and off remotely and personally I like to use the absorption Hopper going into a chest on one side and a tank on the other then from there sort the loot out however you want to here's a bit of a question for you in previous packs the backpacks have been unstable and lose inventory sometimes when placed on the ground which is why I avoid them like the plague any idea if that's been fixed again loved the video

I’ve managed to use a very small 2 spawner setup that’s basically maxed without piglich hearts (spawn count). They just take longer to generate resources, it’s not too bad.
A lot. I mean a lot a lot. You can easily add more spawners, or specifically just spawn things that drop the most experience. I know during my playthrough I easily got thousands of levels just letting it run.

To save me some time, I written the steps with timestamp for easy reference, if you haven't watched the full video, please do since I intentionally left out some tricks. 😉 ============================================================== Important Material List (not including general building materials): 5 x Spawner and Spawn Eggs (can be more) 9 x Redstone Glasses/Block 9 x Mob Masher (with upgrades) 6 x Redstone Link (number of spawners+1) 2 x Ender Inhibitors ============================================================== Steps with timestamp: 0:18 1. Get spawners (at least 5), using Mekanism's Cardboard Box, or Silk Touch 1:34 2. Get spawn eggs using Mob Swab method: Blaze, Cave Creeper, Enderman, Witch, Wither Skeleton 3:06 (Tips: use chicken spawner to have infinite chickens🐔) 3:22 3. Build 9x9 square exterior (7x7 internal spawn area) 3:48 4. Build the killzone, 5 blocks wide, 4 blocks from one side (i.e. 4x3 internal area), 2 blocks deep, lowest layer being redstone glasses/blocks x 9, and a layer of Mob Mashers x 9 (can start out 3 if early game then expand) 4:52 5. Use Create's Redstone Links x 6 to give wireless control, 5 on the spawners, 1 on the killzone side wall 8:40 10. Place 2 blocks over the top Redstone Link so mobs won't get stuck 9:00 11. Set the spawners to desired mobs 9:13 12. Put Ender Inhibitors x 2 at the front and the back 10:00 13. Upgrade all spawners (dragon egg, nether star, sugar, clock, blaze rod, chrous fruit, wool), note that don't use chrous fruit on slime spawner 13:23 14. Set up the collection system, at least gold backpacks 13:50 15. Apply Advanced Magnet Upgrade, Tank Upgrade (for experience), Advanced Void Upgrade (set on "Works in GUI as well", "Void Overflow", "Block"), Stack Upgrade (optional) 16:00 16. Extract item and experience
After using it for a while, it does make the server TPS dropped quite a lot, ~8 in my case (normal should be 20). I believe tweaking the entites count might help but I haven't tested it out, if you wish to have it running in a sustainable way.
@@AlfredGGMC I just updated the pack to 1.0.18 and I am not sure the exact reason, but it seems the farm (with 6 spawners) is now running fine without disturbing the server tps, which is surprising.
Probably very late to comment this, but if you want to set up a farm with glass but arent strong enough to get a dragon egg yet, use the tinted glass from mob grinding utils mod.

I don;t know if slime spawner can go in with all the rest or do I have to make a seperate mob farm just for them .. really want slime pearls badly lol I could care less about the other mobs lol need slimes
For anyone wondering you will need to create 72 swords for the mob mashers alone and to max out the sharpness it will cost 360 swords so 432 all together hope this helps
Quality planning and fine execution for top tier mob farm, although it's prolly not gonna be your first mob farm (one prolly cobbled together from bamboo spikes and mob fans over dreadful dirt ^^;)
You can set up a less functional version of this earlier in the game with less complexity by putting a stack of redstone controlled spawners (selecting your spawners for which mobs you want) in an enclosed (dark) 9x9 room (tall enough to have 3 blocks below and 2 above the stack) with water placed on the floor to push mobs towards an exit. I don't think it works with blazes or flying mobs, sadly. Then you can have a 1 block wide kill tunnel/box where you either manually hit them, or have 1-2 mob mashers. You can even set the mob mashers up to be toggleable by placing redstone links on the bottom of them. Definitely not as fast but it can be done earlier, and upgraded once you have more resources.
So idk if anyone else has this same issue but, i was unable to get the cave creepers or slime without being in certain areas. My slimes would only spawn in swamp biomes and cave creepers wouldn't spawn unless below y -10(didnt test much in between Y 80 and -10).
@@AlfredGGMC while yes you went over mobs having certain conditions, didn't specify them for the arguably 2 most important mobs in this grinder. And many of us haven't killed the dragon beyond the first time needed.

For all the ATM9 players: This is such a great tutorial video! Very detailed and easy to follow. I was hoping this would be working for ATM9, but it seems like both the witches and creepers are spawning outside the box. I'm thinking of making it a 11x11 box, and hopefully that can resolve the issue.
I made this in ATM 9 and not having any trouble at all with the spawn range, even though I didn't reduce it at all. I used tinted glass and the area outside the spawner is well-lit.
I'm certain that I missed something in the video, but I'm having difficulty getting the armour to void out of the system on its own. Seems to clog up my storage pretty quickly. Can someone explain where I went wrong here? I am using Backpack void upgrade and storage drawers void upgrade, still the armour and tools build up in my backpack.
Best way to find them is by making a rotten egg from Mob Grinding Utils! Go into a cave and use the egg on a 5x5 of dirt. It will spawn a ton of hostile mobs, and you can turn it on and off by placing a torch/light.
You don't need either of those things in the early game. If you stay near it, you won't need Nether Stars. You won't need Dragon Eggs as long as the conditions meet. Slimes need to be in Slime Chunks, or you can build below ylvl ~40 to make cave creepers work without the Egg.
@@AlfredGGMC yeah, i realised that the farm works just fine if i make the walls obscured glass and use sugar and stuff on the spawners, i dont really need it to be more efficient as of right now. Thanks, great guide!

You can set the external storage on the Controller for the drawer system and change the settings on it to pull or push, or stop pulling or pushing from it.

the drop should be a lot higher. The mobs on the lower two blocks will block the lowest 1-2 spawner. Sure max entitys is 32, but with 4 spawners producing up to 16 each thats gonna fill up pretty quick.
Hi, I wanted to add a new spawner but I can't turn it off with the comparator. Not sure whats going on because when I first built it I could do it no problem. Is there something I need to do before hand? Thank you for the great tutorial btw!!

@@AlfredGGMC I'm kind of stupid. I forgot I had quartz in my offhand and what I was really doing was removing the red stone. I took the quarts out of my offhand and was able to apply them after. 100% my error and I appreciate the reply!
I added redstone links below the Mob Mashers and set them to a different frequency, so I can turn them on and off independently from the spawners. Makes it easier to jump in to make some tweaks or change mobs, without the fear of being chopped to bits.
I'mma be honest with you. I should do this. I've died at least 54 times to those things lmao

I haven't seen anyone mention this (from a quick scroll). With functional storage, you can lock/unlock all the drawers linked to a controller by using the configuration card on the controller.
Hey Alfred I love the guides. I think silk touch is easier/better to obtain than the cardboard boxes though. Silentgear brass is copper and, I think, zinc. Really easy to obtain and make early game, no power required, can be reparied, and unlike the cardboard you can actually see which spawner is which
I do like using Silk Touch, but the cardboard boxes can also be used to move chests and stuff. I find it much easier to use/make mainly because a Silk Touch pickaxe from Silent Gear last about 4 hits. It's more of a personal preference!
I find it very easy to get power/pulverizer early on. It’s quite cheap.
Boxes are really nice because you can run through a place and disable spawners by boxing them with a single click. Then pick it up, or just use the box to control spawner on/off.
@@erikjohnson9112i mean i just use a lever with a redstone lamp over my spawners, seems a lot more simple that way so you dont have to go into the room with spawners
@@SnyprLife4 it sounds like we are talking about different situations. I am talking about running through a large modded dungeon where you want to incapacitate some spawners quickly and gather them back home to a farm. You are talking about that farm where you already have the spawners. I have not been running ATM 8 for a year or two so I don't know what is easiest in this modpack.
Great Video! My suggestions are a list or a mention what items come from which mod. Like the wireless redstone links that come from Create. Secondly, if you make longer tutorials that you timestamp the video. It just makes it easier to go back and find a certain section. I think you have a great nack for tutorials.

I followed all of your steps and most of it has been going smoothly... the one thing that has me stumped though is that my backpack isn't sucking up any mob drops despite me having all three magnet upgrades. I also copied the void upgrade steps so I have no idea what the issue is. I built my farm exactly like yours so I would really love to know what the issue might be. Edit: Not my brightest moment... i hadn't switched the magnet upgrade on... my farm is working great thx for the tutorial

I wouldn't say this build is easy when it comes to what you need for the farm but it is really cool. It's a nice little project. Getting all the things you need for your farm and the process of upgrading it. You still need to kill 5 dragons and 5 withers for this. Very worth it in the long run though
I come from the perspective of speedrunning, so I look at things to be a little easier than others lol Getting to the max upgrades can take some time for sure, but with Witches you can speed up the entire process!

I followed that tutorial to make the mob farm, size of the farm and everything except the dragon egg because I'm still too early in the game to get those. The problem is that the blaze spawn everywhere, not only inside the zone of the farm, which makes it really annoying because I can't let the farm going without being there to kill the ones that spawn around the area. Second problem is that not all the items are being collected, some of them get stuck at the first line of the mob masher. But the tutorial is still good, thank you for your work !
You need to use Blaze Rods to reduce the spawn distance on the Blaze spawner. You can get it down to 1 or 2, and that should stop them from spawning everywhere.
The backpack should be close enough to pick up those items if that's what you are using as a collection system, so that's weird that it doesn't pick it up. Hope this helps!

I used armory cabinets myself, but found there is a bug with them, if you extract from them with a pipez pipe or a few other types of pipe, and there's nowhere for the item to go, instead of staying in the cabinet it gets voided. I was using the nbt filtering option of pipez to sort items based on whether they were enchanted/had apotheosis prefixes, or were damaged. This way I could auto-disenchant them dumping the enchants into an enchantment library, the apotheosis equipment I could manually scrap for rarity materials, and the damaged stuff I could maybe dump into a colossal blood chest or something to repair them.
You can use extra armory cabinets to make sure there's enough storage on the receiving end, and there are some transport pipes that don't void the items.
Not really sure whats happening i built the farm and everything how it should be and for a while it was running fine but now my slime spawner is not spawning anything i followed the video exactly and did everything like using the egg to ignore conditions but now nothing is spawning (slimes were spawning for a while and now they just arent) i havent changed anything with the spawner and im just confused any help would be great
You probably need to give the slimes more space to spawn, and make sure that the spawn range is at least 3 for them.

Usually I'll hook up an RS system to the drawers via an external storage on the Controller. Then I'll just set up recipes for autosmelting from there!

Definitely amazing video here's a few changes that I would personally make at the start of the game when you're first building the farm don't have a lot of resources like dragon egg etcetera build the structure out of whatever you want to as long as the inside is dark I prefer to use dark glass and dark ethereal glass then again using whatever conveyor or vector plate you want to direct everything in like you did except only use one mob Masher that's all you really need put a redstone controller at the bottom of that as well that way you can turn it on and off remotely and personally I like to use the absorption Hopper going into a chest on one side and a tank on the other then from there sort the loot out however you want to here's a bit of a question for you in previous packs the backpacks have been unstable and lose inventory sometimes when placed on the ground which is why I avoid them like the plague any idea if that's been fixed again loved the video
A little bit late but i use the absorption hopper to collect items and xp you can connect it to the xp crystall an a chest for the xp and items.

I’ve managed to use a very small 2 spawner setup that’s basically maxed without piglich hearts (spawn count). They just take longer to generate resources, it’s not too bad.
What changed
To decrease spawn time. Need unobtainium + allthemodium. To increase spawn count, need piglich hearts @@erkamtb
Go to the allthemodium dungeon and get some vindicator spawners they have a min spawn time of 40

A lot. I mean a lot a lot. You can easily add more spawners, or specifically just spawn things that drop the most experience. I know during my playthrough I easily got thousands of levels just letting it run.

To save me some time, I written the steps with timestamp for easy reference, if you haven't watched the full video, please do since I intentionally left out some tricks. 😉

5 x Spawner and Spawn Eggs (can be more)
9 x Redstone Glasses/Block
9 x Mob Masher (with upgrades)
6 x Redstone Link (number of spawners+1)
2 x Ender Inhibitors

Steps with timestamp:
0:18 1. Get spawners (at least 5), using Mekanism's Cardboard Box, or Silk Touch
1:34 2. Get spawn eggs using Mob Swab method: Blaze, Cave Creeper, Enderman, Witch, Wither Skeleton
3:06 (Tips: use chicken spawner to have infinite chickens🐔)
3:22 3. Build 9x9 square exterior (7x7 internal spawn area)
3:48 4. Build the killzone, 5 blocks wide, 4 blocks from one side (i.e. 4x3 internal area), 2 blocks deep, lowest layer being redstone glasses/blocks x 9, and a layer of Mob Mashers x 9 (can start out 3 if early game then expand)
4:52 5. Entity Convery/Vector Plates x 52 to move mobs to killzone
5:48 6. Build the tower with heights of 11 blocks (3 spacers + 5 spawners + 2 spacers + 1 top)
6:05 7. Build the killzone with heights of 4 blocks (3x3 windows at the front), ethereal glasses x 9 at the front.
The tower should now be 9x9 exterior with 11 blocks height. Killzone is 4 blocks out and 4 blocks high)
6:52 8. Start from the center of the 7x7 area, with 3 block spaces starting from the ground, the 4th block will the first spawner (use redstone comparators to give redstone control to spawers), stacks the other spawners on the top, 2 blocks (e.g. vertical slaps) in the spacer and reached the ceiling
8:00 9. Use Create's Redstone Links x 6 to give wireless control, 5 on the spawners, 1 on the killzone side wall
8:40 10. Place 2 blocks over the top Redstone Link so mobs won't get stuck
9:00 11. Set the spawners to desired mobs
9:13 12. Put Ender Inhibitors x 2 at the front and the back
10:00 13. Upgrade all spawners (dragon egg, nether star, sugar, clock, blaze rod, chrous fruit, wool), note that don't use chrous fruit on slime spawner
13:23 14. Set up the collection system, at least gold backpacks
13:50 15. Apply Advanced Magnet Upgrade, Tank Upgrade (for experience), Advanced Void Upgrade (set on "Works in GUI as well", "Void Overflow", "Block"), Stack Upgrade (optional)
16:00 16. Extract item and experience

After using it for a while, it does make the server TPS dropped quite a lot, ~8 in my case (normal should be 20). I believe tweaking the entites count might help but I haven't tested it out, if you wish to have it running in a sustainable way.
@@jackytsz This is definitely not meant to be run by a lot of people, mainly used for singleplayer worlds. Mainly at max speed lol
@@AlfredGGMC I just updated the pack to 1.0.18 and I am not sure the exact reason, but it seems the farm (with 6 spawners) is now running fine without disturbing the server tps, which is surprising.

Probably very late to comment this, but if you want to set up a farm with glass but arent strong enough to get a dragon egg yet, use the tinted glass from mob grinding utils mod.

I think the easiest way to get spawners is by the ars spellbook with a ranged+extract+break spell.

Very nice detailed tutorial. When I saw your original one on your ATM8 Let's Play series, I create one just like it. Is there a trick to get Slime Cubes to spawn with this type of setup?
I mention this in the video! Just set the spawner to a slime, and make sure the spawner doesn't have "Remove AI" on it!
@@AlfredGGMC I did not have the "Remove AI" on the spawner. I had to use the Dragon Egg to get it to spawn slimes.

For anyone wondering you will need to create 72 swords for the mob mashers alone and to max out the sharpness it will cost 360 swords so 432 all together hope this helps

Quality planning and fine execution for top tier mob farm, although it's prolly not gonna be your first mob farm (one prolly cobbled together from bamboo spikes and mob fans over dreadful dirt ^^;)
if youre using this on a modpack with mahou, you can use the damage spell to increase mahou, works as a good replacement for the smashers

i used vector plates but I cant place the block directly on the vector plate it floats like it would on a slab would this harm the spawning
You can set up a less functional version of this earlier in the game with less complexity by putting a stack of redstone controlled spawners (selecting your spawners for which mobs you want) in an enclosed (dark) 9x9 room (tall enough to have 3 blocks below and 2 above the stack) with water placed on the floor to push mobs towards an exit. I don't think it works with blazes or flying mobs, sadly.
Then you can have a 1 block wide kill tunnel/box where you either manually hit them, or have 1-2 mob mashers.
You can even set the mob mashers up to be toggleable by placing redstone links on the bottom of them.
Definitely not as fast but it can be done earlier, and upgraded once you have more resources.

So idk if anyone else has this same issue but, i was unable to get the cave creepers or slime without being in certain areas. My slimes would only spawn in swamp biomes and cave creepers wouldn't spawn unless below y -10(didnt test much in between Y 80 and -10).

@@AlfredGGMC while yes you went over mobs having certain conditions, didn't specify them for the arguably 2 most important mobs in this grinder. And many of us haven't killed the dragon beyond the first time needed.

I was hoping this would be working for ATM9, but it seems like both the witches and creepers are spawning outside the box.
I'm thinking of making it a 11x11 box, and hopefully that can resolve the issue.

I made this in ATM 9 and not having any trouble at all with the spawn range, even though I didn't reduce it at all. I used tinted glass and the area outside the spawner is well-lit.

I'm certain that I missed something in the video, but I'm having difficulty getting the armour to void out of the system on its own. Seems to clog up my storage pretty quickly. Can someone explain where I went wrong here? I am using Backpack void upgrade and storage drawers void upgrade, still the armour and tools build up in my backpack.
Make sure the void settings match what I have in the video! Otherwise stick an Armory Cabinet to the output pipe!
u can use armory cabinet it will hold a lot of it and then u can pipe it to another drawer or just destroy it

i have an question,i struggling with finding the cave creeper for pretty long,do you have any idea for finding them?
Best way to find them is by making a rotten egg from Mob Grinding Utils! Go into a cave and use the egg on a 5x5 of dirt. It will spawn a ton of hostile mobs, and you can turn it on and off by placing a torch/light.

You don't need either of those things in the early game. If you stay near it, you won't need Nether Stars. You won't need Dragon Eggs as long as the conditions meet. Slimes need to be in Slime Chunks, or you can build below ylvl ~40 to make cave creepers work without the Egg.

You can set the external storage on the Controller for the drawer system and change the settings on it to pull or push, or stop pulling or pushing from it.

Slime balls are SO important! If you have slime pearls, you can convert those to slime balls!
