Remnant Fellowship - Active and Strong Since 1999

Founded in 1999 by Gwen Lara, Remnant Fellowship is a modern-day version of the early Christian church described in the book of Acts. Over two decades later, the church has grown to a diverse congregation of nearly 2,000-spanning all ages, races, backgrounds, and professions. The church hosts year-round assemblies, Bible classes, youth activities, concerts, weddings, and festivals that are enjoyed by multi-generational families of parents, children, and grandchildren, all celebrating and worshipping God together! The members of Remnant Fellowship find peace and joy in pursuing a personal relationship with God, and this joy can be seen in every aspect of their day-to-day lives-on the job, in the community, as neighbors, and in every aspect of their lives. The genuine kindness, the care, and the smiles are real, because a true love for God overflows into love for others around them! REMNANT FELLOWSHIP CHURCH is an international community of people who are finding renewed hope, profound love and deep purpose by putting the undiluted teachings of Jesus Christ into practice. While divorce, depression, obesity and out-of-control children are increasingly the norm these days, at the Remnant we are experiencing healed marriages, increasing joy, restored health, repaired finances and children who love to follow the guidance of their parents. This Church has its roots founded in the Bible-based teachings of Gwen Shamblin Lara through Weigh Down Ministries, who has a 30-plus years long-and-counting track record of helping people change their lives in every positive and productive way. We as a Church body come from all walks of life and widely varying socioeconomic backgrounds and ages; yet we have this in common - we can hardly contain our joy over how much our lives have changed for the better!
