In the stillness of the night, memories softly rise, whispers of dreams once chased, now adrift in the skies. With a sigh for lost desires, and tears for time misspent, the heart mourns its yesterdays, in a sorrowful lament.
Friends who’ve vanished into the eternal night, Their faces, their voices, now out of sight. Old loves and moments that time has swept away, haunt the mind in silence, where shadows play.
From heartache to heartache, the soul recounts its pain, reliving each loss as if it’s new again. Yet amid these shadows, a beacon shines so bright, a friend’s enduring presence, turning dark to light.
When thoughts of you, dear friend, come to me, all my wounds heal, all my heartaches flee. In your smile, I find the dawn after the darkest night, In your friendship, solace, and boundless light.
So as the night deepens and past sorrows appear, I hold your memory close, and I lose my fear. For with you in my heart, the darkness fades away, in our bond, I find strength to face each new day.
