For anyone curious why Fran's voice suddenly changes. This was an ongoing series for a year and the cast and crew from episode 1 had to be recast or rehired.
Now imagine they make an actual movie of Fran Bow (I have the sensation that it would be something like Coraline, but creepier) it would be even more awesome
She's such a perfect judge of character. Some normal-looking guy is asking for a kiss and she calls him a bastard. Some tangled, horrifying mass of insects with bloody faces and hair shouts "Damn you, curiosity" and she strikes up a pleasant conversation. Fran just knows who's good and who's bad and I love her

I think aunt Grace from the end isn't real aunt Grace. Maybe she's Grace from the fifth reality. Maybe when aunt Grace leave Fran before she become a tree she dies (cause maybe Oswald killed her or something, I don't know 😅) and Fran stays alive, that's why Grace had to leave her alone.

i personally think that remor may be a metaphor for depression, he says he feeds off of the sadness, he also comments on how hes surprised fran didn't end her life, depression can often cause people to take their own lives

I love how this story balances both the horror and tragedy of Fran's mental state with the pure and whimsical fantasies of her imagination. It all culminates into a unique and elegantly crafted narrative about the loss of childhood innocence. Actually, with all the recurring themes of cultism, insanity, paranoia, otherworldly beings, and fear of the unknown, this story is like if H.P. Lovecraft tried to write a children's novel, but failed in a horrible, beautiful way. :)

Guys, they're making a new game that takes place in the same universe as Fran Bow called "Little Misfortune". We may be able to find out more about the five realities and junk!

The difference is between it all is that misfortune is dead, and she moves on to someplace else. However in the game even though she is dead, she still goes on a quest to learn the truth. She learned to accept death and the will to move on to the next life. Fran however was still not confirmed to be dead or alive. Let's assume she is alive by the end of the game that would mean that the only time she "died" was that last scene. We know she was "alive" when she went to the graveyard, because Dr. Deern recognised her. Therefore she existed in real life therefore alive. However Itward said Fran would die if she was in the 5th reality , however use was able to exist there. It was shown to be the 5th reality cause they had stuff described in the earlier part of chapter 4 when Itward explained about the hair creature. It appeared in chapter 5, and therefore she was in the 5th reality. Now if we assume she is dead we can assume that once she fell down the well she would be dead. However, if you want to make the argument that the water saved her or that the door was something she went down. Then that also makes sense, but she would have to be dead at the bridge scene. However, the game gives a reason why she lives. If you ignore the fact that she could be dead, and see her as alive. The game is trying to make you believe that all that happned is real. Now in little misfortune you know from the opening cutscene that the realities are real. As you could see the hair creature in the scene. So in technical terms the realities are a real thing that Fran maybe was Alive to experience. However Misfortune was dead. She only was in what I believe is the 3rd reality and thinking she was Alive. Therefore it explains why she never saw anything Fran did because she was dead. Maybe the developer will make another game, and it could possibly explain more. However in little.misfortune the realities are there and present, and I would.need to check if Remor is Morgo. However from the names are different and they have slightly different designs. While both are demons one wants them to suffer which is Remor. However in contrast Morgo wants to play games with it's victims. They have a different way of doing things, so while they have the same goal they are not the same thing.
@@elizabethjuarez7115 well appearance-wise: remor is a goat-like creature while morgo is a moose-like one. also, morgo is a demon who tricks souls into playing his game, children who died that are still unaware of their death/unable to finally accept their death. he stops them from doing so and creates this neverending cycle of reliving the same day over and over again. he is also a creature from the beyond. (i might be wrong though) "the beyond" is a realm that isn't a part/doesn't reside in the f.r.e.e. or the five realities of essential existence as seen in fran bow. 3rd reality is where fran and misfortune live, i think. remor, on the other hand, is the prince of darkness. he resides in of the 5th reality called apollo. so yeah, i don't think they're the same person. morgo is more like a parasite, (it is made clear that creatures like him are called parasites) while remor is a full pledge prince of darkness.

She’s probably like 9 and does not know about bloodshed and murder yet, all she really knows is that her parents died and that the huge demon creature (whomst name I can’t remember) showed her that she killed her own parents soooo That’s enough traumatization for a child’s lifespan I guess, hey can we get this up on game theory?! HeRes mY tHeORY: So Fran's mom is friends with Dr. Oswald (i forgot his name) at that time dr. Oswald was experimenting on two twins Mia and Clara he stitched and attached their body together. Soon later they died. They threw the girls body in the well. Then he wanted to experiment on Fran's brain. Her mom wont allow this so she hid Fran from them. Aunt Grace got closer to them but little did they know she was actually working for Dr. Oswald. She tells Dr. Oswald about it. He decided to kill Fran's parents. So Aunt Grace killed her parents. Fran ran into the woods. Then Aunt Grace lied that she found Fran frozen to death after murdering her parents. But actually they took her into the Asylum. Fran was given her these red pills to keep her closer to reality but it doesn't fully function (it doesn't fully effect her from being stable) so she can still hallucinate. In the game when she takes the pills, it tricks the player's mind that she is high on drugs and she's hallucinating everything (blood, monsters, etc.) But thats just Fran's mind. She can't accept reality so she makes it look awful. But when she's off her medication everything seems fine because she's not in reality. At the beginning of the game, Fran's cat, Mr. Midnight is already dead. He is the cat in the coffin. Mr. Midnight represents happiness to her. Like i said she wont accept reality and goes to find Mr. Midnight. She was wondering around the forest in reality. She found a well, the same well where the twins bodies were threw in. In her mind she opens a door in the well, but reality she fell inside. When she is off her pills she hallucinates that she is inside a house and she meets Mia and Clara, but if you noticed when she is on her pills it looks like she is at the bottom of the well with two dead decaying skeletons. Those are the bodies of the dead twins. She climbs out of the well falls from a bridge. In her mind she turns into a tree re-presenting that she is paralyzed. Then in ithersta, is like heaven for her. Pollantras represents healing. In the game you can switch time. My theory is that everytime you switch the time thats how long she has been paralyzed Anyway, once she gains movement again she found a bike i guess? Idk but in her mind she goes on a ship with itward. Itward represents trust. After the crash, you can see that a bike a has crashed into a tree. Then she go finds her house. The next events in the game are actually true. But idk about remor. After that she imagine the creepy place at 3:38:00. She imagines that to trick the players eyes. But in reality she is back from the beginning, the asylum. At start aunt Grace chained her. In her mind she summons a little her from another dimension, but in reality a kid in the asylum just helped her get out. She wanders around the asylum. Thats why there are numbers on the doors. Dr.Oswald shoots her, in the game itward and pollantras comes and rescue her. But in reality itward are the police and pollantras is the ambulance. Fran said "I'm going to be happy in ithersta" Remember i said ithersta is heaven to Fran? You know what that means.... She died at the end of the game (She suffered from severe PTSD btw)
grrr.... i know an good video about that but it's german a but it was basically the same but slightly different as this so a few things i can translate itward represents hope to children like fran and he was born in the 4th reality, the boy from the book most likely related to her (and also on her mother and her aunt was expirimented, they thought itward was at fault for their misfortune not accepting that their parents let it happen to them, (not sure if she said that before or after she saw what happened in that little movie, dr.osward actually had good intentions, like you said everything is in her head BUT that doesn't mean it isn't real like a kind of a connection with the help of the pills that would explain why dr.oswald can see itward, well that one is what i got from the video and a comment
Alice- Wonderland Fran- the Ultra-reality There is one difference. For Alice, it's fake. For Fran, it's real. Also, who else get's Never-ending Story vibes? The scene at the end where she rides Palontras reminds me of when the boy in Never-ending Story rides that dragon dude.
In all honesty, Itward's voice makes for a very good Papyrus voice as well since they're both goofy and lovable skeletons who are good friends with humans and I've gotta commend you for that

Finally, a full dub to the best game in existence (yes, even beating out DDLC)! I love the voices, especially the ones for the Great Wizard (I love how he yells everything), Palontras (it really fits him), and Itward (it makes him sound like an adorkable nerd, and that's how I've always imagined him).

Just now realized that the kamalas in the asylum tell riddles about the kids, like "That holy man took all your clothes off" or "Look at me! I tell you're you're beautiful while I teach you to hate yourself," It never occured to me before.

If you read the clipboard in the room with the drawing girl, you'll see that she was sexually abused. And when you go into the "dark world" or whatever it is, you see small handprints all over the bed, and 2 large handprints on her.
I think one of the overlooked, but most wholesome thing about this is when Kotrem was explaining his divorce to the girl and mentioned (without saying directly) that his wife pretty much was his team mate. That she alone was the calm in his life. That he holds her high, supports her, protects her, in turn she balances his existence, protects him in turn and the land as well, keeps him at peace and that they are a power couple. That is wonderful anf beautiful. That without his wife, his life isn't right to him as it used to be... That everything is chaos and well supporting her choice to leave and him settling with that hat to make due for her desires as she has done for him shows real love. So so precious...

I'm happily married and see life in the best way since finding the one who I wasn't even searching for. I learned that the best way to find something in life that is meant for you, is to stop searching for something that you want, and wait for what's best for you. Work hard for what you desire, and wait for what's best. Make the goal and decisions to move towards it, but ultimately wait. Don't push it or you may just push it away. Be patient and stay positive. Life will fall in place. When we focus too hard on the negative or the small things we tend to make mistakes and make something worse.. like making a mountain out of an ant hill. Lol

Nice job with this video, here is my theory of the story: So Fran's aunt Grace is friends with Dr. Oswald and was with him to use Fran's brain for the experiment, so she kills Fran's parents. Everything else was real and in the cemetery another cat skeleton was put in a coffin and is not Mr.Midnight. In the end of the game, Fran was saved by Itward & Pollantras who then adopt her some way.
Tf2 & Disney lover 1258 actually, Itward & Pollantras are just in Fran's head. Fran actually died in the end so adoption is probably never gonna happen :((

I was proud of myself for being able to beat this without any walkthroughs at all. I may have applied some process of exhaustion but this was the first game I completed by myself that was puzzle based rather than timing based.

Oh my.. I love it! It's such a deep game and storyline, and it is hard to just simply overlook it. It reminds me of many horror novels I have read..! When I think of Fran bow, I see a young curious girl with a mature mind who simply wants to be free from insanity..There are many theories about this game, however, I believe it's about a small girl who's called Fran, who, one day, saw her parents dead on the floor, because they had been murdered, and she has been traumatised ever since. And now, she has turned insane from all the terrible torture..! She is now an outcast, who escaped from a mental hospital, and the game is essentially about what happens in her head when she takes the Duotine. It's like the pills help her escape to a new world, even if that world isn't a bright one..
But there are some questions as to what's in her head and what's real. Did her aunt grace really cause her to kill her parents in such a way or is it something else?
Aw, I miss Fran Bow. The scene before the end made me cry, I was still crying even after we found out the cat that died wasn't mr.midnight because an innocent cat still died.
At 1:01:21, I found out that you can also burn the rope with Matches that's how you achieve 'Burning Rope', and I also loved the Fandub I love Fran Bow I keep on playing it over and over as well as 'Little Misfortune'.
The voice acting in this is incredible! I have never seen this type of stuff before, and I really like this! The voice acting is some of the best I have heard out of the many dubs that I listen to every now and again, and they make the whole experience of the game even better! Thank you for creating such a masterpiece for the enjoyment of the many viewers! P.S. Sorry if I sound like some sorta critic. I didn't know that I had this side.... P.P.S. I love how this story balances both the horror and tragedy of Fran's mental state with the pure and whimsical fantasies of her imagination. It all culminates into a unique and elegantly crafted narrative about the loss of childhood innocence. Actually, with all the recurring themes of cultism, insanity, paranoia, otherworldly beings, and fear of the unknown, this story is like if H.P. Lovecraft tried to write a children's novel, but failed in a horrible, beautiful way. :)
Plus, it's hard to tell in her mind what was real and what was not. Like did her aunt kill them or did Fran?

Guys, they're making a new game that takes place in the same universe as Fran Bow called "Little Misfortune". We may be able to find out more about the five realities and junk!

The difference is between it all is that misfortune is dead, and she moves on to someplace else. However in the game even though she is dead, she still goes on a quest to learn the truth. She learned to accept death and the will to move on to the next life. Fran however was still not confirmed to be dead or alive. Let's assume she is alive by the end of the game that would mean that the only time she "died" was that last scene. We know she was "alive" when she went to the graveyard, because Dr. Deern recognised her. Therefore she existed in real life therefore alive. However Itward said Fran would die if she was in the 5th reality , however use was able to exist there. It was shown to be the 5th reality cause they had stuff described in the earlier part of chapter 4 when Itward explained about the hair creature. It appeared in chapter 5, and therefore she was in the 5th reality. Now if we assume she is dead we can assume that once she fell down the well she would be dead. However, if you want to make the argument that the water saved her or that the door was something she went down. Then that also makes sense, but she would have to be dead at the bridge scene. However, the game gives a reason why she lives. If you ignore the fact that she could be dead, and see her as alive. The game is trying to make you believe that all that happned is real. Now in little misfortune you know from the opening cutscene that the realities are real. As you could see the hair creature in the scene. So in technical terms the realities are a real thing that Fran maybe was Alive to experience. However Misfortune was dead. She only was in what I believe is the 3rd reality and thinking she was Alive. Therefore it explains why she never saw anything Fran did because she was dead. Maybe the developer will make another game, and it could possibly explain more. However in little.misfortune the realities are there and present, and I would.need to check if Remor is Morgo. However from the names are different and they have slightly different designs. While both are demons one wants them to suffer which is Remor. However in contrast Morgo wants to play games with it's victims. They have a different way of doing things, so while they have the same goal they are not the same thing.

well appearance-wise: remor is a goat-like creature while morgo is a moose-like one.
also, morgo is a demon who tricks souls into playing his game, children who died that are still unaware of their death/unable to finally accept their death. he stops them from doing so and creates this neverending cycle of reliving the same day over and over again.
he is also a creature from the beyond. (i might be wrong though)
"the beyond" is a realm that isn't a part/doesn't reside in the f.r.e.e. or the five realities of essential existence as seen in fran bow.
3rd reality is where fran and misfortune live, i think.
remor, on the other hand, is the prince of darkness. he resides in of the 5th reality called apollo.
so yeah, i don't think they're the same person.
morgo is more like a parasite, (it is made clear that creatures like him are called parasites) while remor is a full pledge prince of darkness.

So Fran's mom is friends with Dr. Oswald (i forgot his name) at that time dr. Oswald was experimenting on two twins
Mia and Clara he stitched and attached their body together. Soon later they died. They threw the girls body in the well.
Then he wanted to experiment on Fran's brain. Her mom wont allow this so she hid Fran from them. Aunt Grace got closer to them but little did they know she was actually working for Dr. Oswald. She tells Dr. Oswald about it. He decided to kill Fran's parents. So Aunt Grace killed her parents. Fran ran into the woods. Then Aunt Grace lied that she found Fran frozen to death after murdering her parents. But actually they took her into the Asylum.
Fran was given her these red pills to keep her closer to reality but it doesn't fully function (it doesn't fully effect her from being stable) so she can still hallucinate. In the game when she takes the pills, it tricks the player's mind that she is high on drugs and she's hallucinating everything (blood, monsters, etc.) But thats just Fran's mind. She can't accept reality so she makes it look awful. But when she's off her medication everything seems fine because she's not in reality.
At the beginning of the game, Fran's cat, Mr. Midnight is already dead. He is the cat in the coffin. Mr. Midnight represents happiness to her. Like i said she wont accept reality and goes to find Mr. Midnight. She was wondering around the forest in reality. She found a well, the same well where the twins bodies were threw in. In her mind she opens a door in the well, but reality she fell inside. When she is off her pills she hallucinates that she is inside a house and she meets Mia and Clara, but if you noticed when she is on her pills it looks like she is at the bottom of the well with two dead decaying skeletons. Those are the bodies of the dead twins. She climbs out of the well falls from a bridge. In her mind she turns into a tree re-presenting that she is paralyzed. Then in ithersta, is like heaven for her. Pollantras represents healing. In the game you can switch time.
My theory is that everytime you switch the time thats how long she has been paralyzed
Anyway, once she gains movement again she found a bike i guess? Idk but in her mind she goes on a ship with itward. Itward represents trust. After the crash, you can see that a bike a has crashed into a tree. Then she go finds her house.
The next events in the game are actually true. But idk about remor. After that she imagine the creepy place at 3:38:00. She imagines that to trick the players eyes. But in reality she is back from the beginning, the asylum. At start aunt Grace chained her. In her mind she summons a little her from another dimension, but in reality a kid in the asylum just helped her get out. She wanders around the asylum. Thats why there are numbers on the doors. Dr.Oswald shoots her, in the game itward and pollantras comes and rescue her. But in reality itward are the police and pollantras is the ambulance. Fran said "I'm going to be happy in ithersta"
Remember i said ithersta is heaven to Fran? You know what that means....
She died at the end of the game

grrr.... i know an good video about that but it's german a but it was basically the same but slightly different as this so a few things i can translate itward represents hope to children like fran and he was born in the 4th reality, the boy from the book most likely related to her (and also on her mother and her aunt was expirimented, they thought itward was at fault for their misfortune not accepting that their parents let it happen to them, (not sure if she said that before or after she saw what happened in that little movie, dr.osward actually had good intentions, like you said everything is in her head BUT that doesn't mean it isn't real like a kind of a connection with the help of the pills that would explain why dr.oswald can see itward, well that one is what i got from the video and a comment

If you read the clipboard in the room with the drawing girl, you'll see that she was sexually abused. And when you go into the "dark world" or whatever it is, you see small handprints all over the bed, and 2 large handprints on her.

I think one of the overlooked, but most wholesome thing about this is when Kotrem was explaining his divorce to the girl and mentioned (without saying directly) that his wife pretty much was his team mate. That she alone was the calm in his life. That he holds her high, supports her, protects her, in turn she balances his existence, protects him in turn and the land as well, keeps him at peace and that they are a power couple. That is wonderful anf beautiful. That without his wife, his life isn't right to him as it used to be... That everything is chaos and well supporting her choice to leave and him settling with that hat to make due for her desires as she has done for him shows real love. So so precious...

I learned that the best way to find something in life that is meant for you, is to stop searching for something that you want, and wait for what's best for you. Work hard for what you desire, and wait for what's best. Make the goal and decisions to move towards it, but ultimately wait. Don't push it or you may just push it away. Be patient and stay positive. Life will fall in place. When we focus too hard on the negative or the small things we tend to make mistakes and make something worse.. like making a mountain out of an ant hill. Lol

Nice job with this video, here is my theory of the story:
So Fran's aunt Grace is friends with Dr. Oswald and was with him to use Fran's brain for the experiment, so she kills Fran's parents.
Everything else was real and in the cemetery another cat skeleton was put in a coffin and is not Mr.Midnight. In the end of the game, Fran was saved by Itward & Pollantras who then adopt her some way.
Tf2 & Disney lover 1258 actually, Itward & Pollantras are just in Fran's head. Fran actually died in the end so adoption is probably never gonna happen :((

It's such a deep game and storyline, and it is hard to just simply overlook it. It reminds me of many horror novels I have read..!
When I think of Fran bow, I see a young curious girl with a mature mind who simply wants to be free from insanity..There are many theories about this game, however, I believe it's about a small girl who's called Fran, who, one day, saw her parents dead on the floor, because they had been murdered, and she has been traumatised ever since. And now, she has turned insane from all the terrible torture..!
She is now an outcast, who escaped from a mental hospital, and the game is essentially about what happens in her head when she takes the Duotine. It's like the pills help her escape to a new world, even if that world isn't a bright one..

The voice acting in this is incredible! I have never seen this type of stuff before, and I really like this! The voice acting is some of the best I have heard out of the many dubs that I listen to every now and again, and they make the whole experience of the game even better! Thank you for creating such a masterpiece for the enjoyment of the many viewers!
