- Buying a propane tank was harder than I expected. Supply is low and local suppliers are charging a premium. Used prices are higher now and used supply is almost non existent.
So I spent the better part of a day driving to get one that will get us thru most of our energy needs for a winter.
Break Heart Orchard is a small farm that we are carving out of previously forested land.
We will be putting out videos on a weekly basis to document this journey as we build our own home and create our dream farm and Orchard Cidery. Check out our other videos and subscribe, to follow along on this adventure

God blessings to you both. Team work. ❤️you both.
I love watching your videos
i am late but always a pleasure watching and the wink Jefanna give in the camera
Jefanna has a grey smile.. she's so cute 🥰🥰 nice work with the house both of you. Keep it up 👍👍😘 looking forward with your channel. 👍👍👍💖💖
A heat pump dryer is also another option for the vent issues. They don't need venting and are the most efficient dryers out there. Only downside is they take slightly longer to dry but are gentle on the clothes.
Great video. It's sure coming along and I can see you there sooner than later now. Yahooooo
Keep up the good work.

J has the smile of an angel. Good thing you listened to her as you installed that frame. And you just keep pressing forward, making it happen. Thanks for a great video!
Yap, many times if you want to get something good, you have to search for it and it's not easy. One more step closer to the completion. There is nothing better for me than watch videos while enjoying a nice portion of juicy cherries.. =) They are so tasty... =P I hope you will have also some other fruit in the orchard, so you can also have a good time with various stuff at different times. Cheers.
👍😊🤗
💞the flowers it's officially home lol
You're not kidding about the cost of the tanks. I just put a 500 gallon in and with tax it was $3900. I think there's a lot of gouging going on out there.
If they had offered it installed for $3900 I would have jumped on that deal.
If it were easy then more would do it probably fits somewhere here. I hate to do electrical, I am good at it regardless of ac or dc but its just so monotonous and some can be real hard when doing commercial and your pulling wire through conduit for a hundred feet... very tiring for me
😏...., I thought electric over? Ya'll stay cool.
Noticed you talked about running a supply line from an outlet up to your switches. It isn't a big deal but if the lights are on and someone uses the outlet there is a good chance your lights will flicker. I think you talked about this in an earlier video about how many outlets and/or lights you were putting on the same circuit.
Course I ran all our lights and outlets on separate circuits to avoid this but later found that on solar the inverter doesn't output full power all the time. So what happens is that when a vacuum is turned on, all the lights on that 120V leg of the 220V will still flicker. Only way to fix it is to increase the sustained output, not a good idea when off grid, or put all the lights on one leg and the outlets on another.
How far back up in the woods are you from the road in to your property?
Which road? Hard top? Or just my driveway? Drive way is half mile. Shared private road is half mile. Public dirt road is another half mile.
