Today we're opening packs of 1994 Flair Inaugural Edition. This was the very first time Marvel cards got the "Flair" treatment which were premium high quality cards that used computer technology to "enhance" existing and original art. These were printed on thicker card stock and sold at a more premium price.

I love these and opened a ton as a kid! I also inherited a giant lot of sealed sports and marvel from the 90s and ripped them all a few years ago. It was so much fun and I am about 5 cards from making this complete set. Huge marvel fan here! Thanks for sharing. I do have the complete power blast set plus some extras. These are so nostalgic and even in 94 were very expensive compared to other card sets.

In latin america we know the marvel 94 flair set as "Pepsi cards" , were distributed and sold by pepsi co back in the 90s, Pepsi cards are 109 cards only or more
The Mary Jane in this set 🤌
One thing I think sets this set apart from a lot of other vintage sets is the packaging. These cards are literally triple sealed. First the cards themselves, then the pack itself and then the booster box.
Definitely sets this one apart, even after all these years they are crisp
@@nexuscards I'm planning on getting a 1994 x-men fleer ultra booster box at some point because they go for around 250. But that 1995 flair marvel annual box goes for around 500+.

The Ultra series from the 90s are notorious for bricking so I stopped buying them. Great set tho!

Awesome vid! Just curious I have 10 packs of these that my uncle gave me sealed but is it better to open them and see if I pull any cool power blasts and get them graded? 🤔 because man they look soo cool especially that silver surfer 🤩
I’d recommend just opening them for fun and not getting them graded. The cost of grading will make it so you might not even break even. But that’s only if you plan on selling them, if you just want them to collect and admire go for it, the powerblasts are slick!

I think bricking happens due to heat. Doesn't matter how much packaging it has. If the original owner left them at room temperature it would be fine.

Would you do some magic the gathering opening? I always wished I could get into it but when I got money to try the scene in my home town died because of some dramas.
Yeah I plan on doing several MTG LOTR collector booster openings. Hunting for that one ring!
