I've a query about my Router. I'm having a TP Link Archer C20i Router. I was using it by connecting it to 12v battery directly (because input rating of this router is 12v 1Amp). It worked fine until one day the battery discharged and due to under voltage my router stopped working. I don't know what happened to it, any components got damaged or firmware corrupted but only Power LED is glowing and nothing else. I tried flashing new firmware using TFTP Mode but no success. Serial communication is showing random unknown characters in serial window and yes I double triple checked the baud rates. Then I removed Winbond BIOS 8 pin IC and checked it and I'm able to Read and Write to the IC. Now I don't know what else to do? Any suggestion would be appreciable. Thanks

you can buy high gain outdoor antennas with built in wifi or 4g acess points , for same as you would have spent, good for the diy aspect but there are smarter options,and cheaper
Your Modification is said to increase the power from 5 dBi to 16 dBi.. How did you measure the true output? .....or did you calculate this increase by change in Antenna gain alone ?

This is due to a conscious defense in electronics that believes that it did something very creative (in case most of its components were made with recyclable components but it is not the case there is a modem from the same manufacturer that already does that and has the capacity to support power with PoE, which is just putting the utp cable and connecting it to the PoE and it is already providing service or cheaper to buy the equipment for that purpose PA external
This has already been tp-link for many years and still very low cost without doing everything and more when it is a new equipment maybe that can be done for when you have a modem that is already used and can be reused but you have not made it totally reprehensible but well they do it for making videos on UA-cam

I’ve been running the TP-Link 2.4GHz N300 Outdoor CPE for 4 years. Today was the first time I’ve ever reset it. For $40 you can’t beat it for range, price and dependability. I’ve connected to it with my phone @ 1/4 mile. I’ve see the signal at 6/10th. I’d like to test it in a bridge setup
3D printed parts would make this 10X better, you could make it look factory w them. Instead of zip ties. And still have visible use of the LED’s . Either way awesome build. Wish we could see the effects in use.
Sorry bro, the video is ok, but, the POE that you use can only transport 10 / 100 mbit of lan signal . If you want the gigabit you MUST use a Universal Power over Ethernet ( UPOE ) like the cisco. That system can tranfert the power and the signal with all the 4 twisted pair cables, that can reach a power supply of 60w and a signal of 1 gigabit. Sorry for my orrible english. I saw that you soldered 2.4mhz wi-fi cables to the TP-Link card. is there polarity to weld? Could you describe the antenna kit better? so I realized it only works 2.4 MHz and you improvised by putting TP-Link behind the antenna plate. right? Is that antenna eh omini?
If you are sending signal 500m you have to get 2 routers and align those antennas so they are light sign to each other, then you can create another wifi for your remote clients to connect in. I normally do it using OpenWrt, not sure if your TP-Link router supports or not.
