Everyone is saying it but if Sentinel started doing comic stuff, there would be no competition at all. It'd be cool to see an Ultimate Spider-Man from Sentinel, they'd capture Bagley's art perfectly.
If Sentinel made an Ultimate Spider-Man, I’d buy that thing as soon as I heard it would come out, since I missed out on the Mafex Comic Spidey. EDIT: I got the repaint Mafex though!
I wish Sentinel would. Mafex choose the most popular comicbook characters in their most iconic outfits and storyline, which is the reason I collect them. But their qc is random and most of their release dates and delays are are way too far in the future. Their Hush and X-Men lines started in 2020 and at the rate they are going, if they try to get most of their lineups done, it will take until 2025. That is unreasonable. This has just left me burnt out and frustrated, as I feel I have fallen into a collecting black hole. Sentinel have the qc down, no doubt. Can they release figures consistently and reliably to pick up the gauntlet?

I just got mine and I'm freaking hyped! Lol, I just got back into collecting, and this is my second figure back into it. I've always wanted a "definitive" Spider-Man figure since I was a kid, and this looked too good to pass up. I think I finally found my definitive Spidey.
I don’t know if anyones relized it or yet but the unmasked hands go with the unmasked face sculpt where it looks like a kissing expression, to remake the scene where he’s eating the burger, or at least I think.
That dio is gonna look amazing with the new mafex Nightwing. Posing him with his twirl Patton hand will look insanely cool
In my opinion this is probably the best 6inch spiderman in the market right now

it's actually about the same of what I paid for Mafex Peter B (around 98$) given:
1. My Sentinel version is the one without the base.
2. I pre ordered him pretty much as soon as when the news surface.

Great Review bro!!! I like that u never sell us short with your review content. U could have easily just dkipped over some of the details of this figure to stream line the video but u didn’t. Great work and this Spider-Man is next level. Puts the other company on notice to step up there Spidey action figure game.
Almost a year later, and I've gotten my hands on the reissue. Expensive? Yes. Worth every dollar? Also, yes. (Although to be fair $135 for the figure PLUS big ass base doesn't seem too egregious IMO)
Mafex is delicate but sentinel on the other hand. A whole nother leap in amazing quality!
Probably the best price you can pick him up from is toys wonderland. I ordered mine from there during one of their sales and the standard version came out less than $110 (after taxes and usd conversion) but not sure if it'll be that low as of now. Looks awesome up close!! Thanks for doing such a great review!! 👍

Dude this set the bar for Spidey figures I think. Definitey glad I preordered this from Toys Wonderland. I can keep the soft goods on Mafex Peter B and Keep this one as my clean blonde Peter/Ben in the Spider-Verse display.

The Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Spider-Man is very similar in articulation, I think it has more than this even, I own it and I have to say it sacrifices alot of the astetic of the figure and has many cuts in the joints, whereas the sentinel has a more smooth astetic if that makes sense. However I agree with you, this figure is the best Spider-Man I've come across!

Easily my favorite Spider-Man figure of all time. It can work as a comic Spider-Man or a Into the Spider Verse Spidey (obviously). Yes it surpasses the Mafex Comic Spider-Man in my opinion. Also the heads look really good! I have this figure and it's great! Good Review man!
i didnt get the one with the diorama but apparently those are the ones that came out first... i might have to 3d print the gargoyle head base.. or somthing similar

I Know They Have Peni Coming (Her Robot) Even Though She's a Statue But Now They Have To Make a Gwen and Have an extra Suited torso, Extra Suit Legs, and 4 Extra Heads. While The Figure In The Package Would Already Have a Undercover School Outfit With A Floating Skirt and school shoes. In The Mean While We Will Have To Use The Mafex Gwen, Or Yamaguchi Or Marvel Legends etc.
definitely worth the buck for a Spiderman figure, especially to those who does photography of him with the articulation this figure has..& yea, that Lion diorama makes a good piece with Thundercats figures as well, looking like their Cat's Lair head.
Yep, this figure is one of my all time favorite figures along with the 1000 toys Master Chief... so many stellar figures are coming out and this one is up at the tippy top. Kind of wish I could easily get a 2nd one and I can't wait to see what they do with Spider Gwen... LOVE MAFEX figures, and Sentinel is right up there with them.

Yo Wade, idk if you saw my comment on IG but I think if you took the neck from the Mafex Peter B and put it on the Mafex Ben Reilly body, that would make the Sentinel Blonde Peter head look more proportionate. Dope review as always bro

this is so cool i'm getting the one without the display base for Christmas because i cant find the one with the display base I tried o make one in school but I used to small blobs of clay and my art teacher said it was to much if she didn't it would of been a lot smaller but it would of looked like a chicken

Great figure! But, I’m not gonna dish out almost $200 for a 1/12th scale movie specific Spider-Man. A comic Spidey sure I would. Easily.
The non dio one is ~$125 . I feel for the people that missed out but they shouldnt be too sad, sentinel restocked Miles about 3-4 times now. Same will go for Peter

So glad I pre-ordered this guy. Waiting on gamestop going to be awhile i'm sure. The colors just POP so HARD.. I loved the miles morales figure but this one is even better. Also wanted to say your video's look better than any other toy reviewer on youtube, super clean 4k resolution awesome framing and lighting and I love the purple gradient background + subtle depth of field effect. Looks great, keep it up. Also did he not come with a newspaper? It was shown in the photos.
the newspaper comes in the instruction manual ! you have to cut it out though

Watching you move it around seems so fluid, so effortless and as I only own Marvel Legends Spider-Man figures which again I absolutely love, this ticks every box as far as I can see.
