@@StarboardBow I’m more referring to the price to performance. If that’s enough speed that’s okay but you could pay a lot less for a bike with similar performance
Thanks for the video; wanted to see if this e-Bike was a legal electric bicycle under California law and this gave me the answer. Obviously you don't care, but the CVC requires wearing a bicycle helmet on a Class 3 speed electric bicycle (pedal assist only to 28 mph). Class 3 speed electric bicycles have less than 750 watts of power - and have no throttle, so what you have here is a motorized bicycle (moped) that requires a M1 or M2 drivers licence, a motor cycle helmet, DMV registration if it qualifies with meeting federal vehicle standards, and is prohibited like a motorcycle from driving on any bike path or cycle track (like the cattle chute between Capo Beach and San Clemente) Local cities are starting to pass laws against illegal e-bikes/un registered mopeds and illegal e-bike operation, so enjoy it while you can; enforcement will be increasing and you will be limited to riding this 71 pound beast in your own back yard. (Orange county already prohibits legal electric bicycles from off street dirt trails where mountain bikes are allowed)
Wait till you have a problem with this bike. Nobody answers the phone. Besides a warehouse without parts (only distribution of new bikes) they have nothing. I am calling them (they are close to LA) and nobody answers. Everything is done from China. My 2 bikes are one month old and one has failed during my RV roadtrip. The motor looses some kind of stinky fluid and it’s over. It starts grinding and there is no power.
@@StarboardBowproblem is support does absolutely nothing but assure you that someone will be contacting you. Well I'm still waiting.... My bike was dropping hardware before I could get out of the driveway. I'm extremely disappointed/ madd. It's the 1400 Watt version.
Cheap bikes we have 2 hunter bikes. We already 1 bike after a month the motor died we have been fighting with them to get a new motor they keep saying they are going to take care of it, but they don't. We disputed our credit card we got our money back the 2nd bike the front brake cable broke, and the display has gone black the screen don't work here we work trying to get things replaced and getting the run around again. We had the bikes barely 5 months. We will probably dispute the credit card again with the other bike. Its a shame that a company cant stand behind the product.
@StarboardBow it's mix of I guesstimate about 60% pedal and rest throttle. According to jasion I cam only go P1 P2 downhill and down wind to maximum MPC
I love that people who could NOT ride bikes anymore, due to physical issues, are able to get out and enjoy biking again with ebikes. However, while your video was very informative, you fail to obey simple rules of the road. Do you stop or even slow down, for stop signs at all? Ebikers have a growing bad reputation on bike paths, streets, etc because they power up and don't obey simple traffic laws. Don't be a bad example in your videos please.
@@StarboardBow Tried to repeat what I typed in, but you were pretty far down the list. Can't remember but just chose it simply because your title included "best foldable..." so I watched it. AGAIN, my comment was a minor complaint about your riding, however, you did provide a great review for the bike. Hope you increase the viewing numbers.

Did you have trouble with the locking stem, I’m having a problem closing it.
Not with this one. Make sure to adjust it properly.
Super video!!!

Cool
Pedaling on level 5 and its only going to 19/20 is kinda bad
Depends on which is driving. Not every one wants to drive fast. There are many out there that do. Thanks for the comment. Please subscribe.

It unlocks to 28 mph. Gotta know how. Not a secret.

Wow thanks for the info. Safety first all the time. Always follow the law.
Since it’s can go straight throttle without pedal assist and limits to 20mph that would be class 2 e-bike.
Regulate me harder daddy. 😂
GOOD OK

Too each his own. It's been a great bike. Sorry for your problems. Did you email the support??
Range on x hunter is not what they advertise 71 mpc, its actually 25-30 mpc mix with pedal assist and throttle. DO NOT BUY
Was that pedal assist or just throttle?
