This was very reminiscent of my very first walking hike in The Lakes. It was long ago, and I remember when only by the Falklands War because the Royal Air Force were doing their maneuvers over the mountains. At one point I was higher in the hills than the jets. That was the beginning of my walking holidays in Britain. Took 14 of them with a British group. Many friendships were born from them. Lovely vlog. Jane, Philadelphia
Amazing to see and hear the waterfalls and what glorious views from the tops. When I lived up there with my Nan she would drive out to them when it was raining. She would say that the 'bloody tourists' would be all be at home and the waterfalls would be in full flow and she was right. Watching this so makes me want to be back up there. As you may remember, I fully intended to retire to the Lakes, but life and all that. What an Osprey bargain. Good to see you both in good health and spirit and look forward to you doing more peaks on your new map.

It was great to have a chat with you at Hest Bank last month and then briefly in Lancaster a couple of days later. We are enjoying watching you going to some of the places we went on our hire boat. Sorry I gave H a bit of a scare when I said hello.😂

@@janeingram7331 ahh... Lovely memories. The jets still go through 2 or 3 times a day scaring the life out of the tourists on Windermere!
