5 Minute Meditation for Morning Anxiety

- This 5 minute guided meditation was designed to use first thing in the morning as soon as you begin to feel anxious. Anxiety can become a major problem in your day to day life, and meditation can be a great choice to help you along the way. Enjoy!

I had the same reaction. I almost started to cry when she said that.
This is one of my favorites :’) too often we’re taught to look at the positive side or repress any “negative” emotions. But they’re a part of who we are and they’re normal and okay.
I really loved this meditation. I can’t do long meditations because for some reason when i open my eyes, i find myself dissociated. Also i love what she said about how the way we’re feeling doesn’t determine how our day will actually be like. It was very important and useful for me to hear that because i’ve just started a new job (my first job) and even though this is my second week and i already know more or less how it goes, i still get anxious every morning before it starts. And i usually feel better once i start my day, but every morning i wake up anxious and i have to do the process all over again. And my anxiety is telling me everything will go wrong and i can’t tolerate the uncertainty. But it’s good to be reminded that the anxiety is in my body, and it’s not a sign of any actual future events, it doesn’t say anything about how my day will go. I should remember that. Thank you.
i hope that you’ve been doing well :) i just want to share that I am going through the same thing too, its my second week at work and I get anxious every morning that I have to go. Knowing that I am not alone feeling this is so comforting. Thank you. I wish you all the best :))

This is honestly the best video I’ve ever seen. I usually struggle with meditating and getting my thoughts and breath under control but this guided meditation really helps centre me while other guided videos don’t as much. Her choice of words are perfect like this video is great if I could give it 100 likes I would. Thank you for this so much. I will continue to use this to help combat my struggles.
I read the transcript to this. I'm anxious about how time will fly by today, so I figured I'd find it easier to read instead of meditating. The reading helped me focus. Miraculously, I calmed down. The 4-8 breathing helped a lot. Thank you so much for this meditation 💜

I don’t suffer from anxiety anymore ever since I discovered hot yoga.
If you haven’t experienced hot yoga you should give it a try. There are so many people in the two studios I frequent with the same story no matter what their ailment was.
Hot yoga is a game changer for most who give it a try. It’s not for everyone for sure but the feeling afterwards might just help change your mind.
What have you got to lose. A couple lbs of sweat?

Can anyone give me idea for meditation?I am starting for first time from tomorrow
My neuropathy in feet affected me so my breathing was short.
My breathing is always short because of anxiety! My dad has neuropathy too, and I know how much stress and pain it can cause. If I may offer some advice, maybe focus on slowing your heart rate down next time rather than how deep your breath is? I hope your neuropathy gets better and I hope this might help you! 💗😁

When you say the bit about 'not through force' when changing the course of our day but 'through allowing', what exactly do you mean?
Allowing and accepting the feeling of anxiety instead of forcing it out via distraction

I think the fear of having the anxiety is what keeps it around, once you accept it and follow the meditation it should be alleviated
Of course, I believe meditation should be coupled with other methods such as cognitive therapy and yoga seems to help people
I'm still trying to figure it out honestly haha

Hilarious advertising juxtaposition. Her; calming, soothing, gentle.... Followed by annoying, instantly anxiety-inducing advert bloke, loud, brash, right up in ya face.... cant work out whether it’s all the ‘Business People’ he refers to who are here in need of the 5 minute meditation or whether following the meditation with him means you need to go back and consume another meditation as an anti-dote.
All these meditation videos these woman have high pitched voices they all sound the same it makes my anxiety worse lol a man's voice is better for my anxiety cause I guess it's deeper and not so mousy
