    Thank you! Maybe it’s because this is the 5th video I’ve watched on this but your video is the one that made it really CLICK for me

      Thank you so very much! Glad it could help! I am hoping to do some more tutorials soon. It's always a matter of time, though.

    Thank you thank you so much I couldn’t find a video that actually explained how the knitting part of this hold works.
    So many ppl only show how the hold works but I was confused how they were going through the loops as they would go too fast at that point, so thank you so much for making that so clear.

      Yay! So glad it helped you! I really try to break down my how-to's how I remember struggling and learning, and address those! So glad it resonated with you!

    Thank you, this is the best demonstration of continental knitting I have come across. There’s hope for me yet 😊

      You can do it!!! I find that practicing the holding of the yarn and getting comfortable with that in your left hand is the key

    This was one of the better continental stitch videos- thank you! I’m trying to switch from English style.

      Thanks, Paula! I hope it helps! Everyone knits differently, but this really is the easiest for me and I hope it helps some people who just don't jive with the throwing method.💖

    My Mom learned this method from her Canadian neighbor.

    Great demo but i just can not get my non dominant left hand to feel comfortable and not cramp up 😢

    • @bumblebeeacresfarm
      @bumblebeeacresfarm  5 місяців тому

      You're definitely tensing up! I would practice the yarn holding and winding around your fingers in the left hand while not holding needles. Until you feel more comfortable 💖

    Thank you, but before I can try this, I have to go find another video that shows how to cast on.

      I almost always use the "wrap cast on" method! good luck!

    I think if you are a beginner, you need to know first: how to cast on.

  • @belindatownshend3804

    Yeah but what about casting on?…. That is a big part of learning how to knit

    • @bumblebeeacresfarm
      @bumblebeeacresfarm  2 місяці тому

      There are so many ways to cast on! I didn't want to make the video too long!

      @@bumblebeeacresfarm I am happy to watch a long video to learn a new skill… as a newbie a little direction where to start is a big help because there are so many cast ons I fell I could choose the wrong one 🥹

    Could you do a tutorial of this again but with less talking? It'd be nice to see you demonstrate the movements in slow motion without constantly pausing

      Hi there! I'm afraid I am unable to do that at this time, but if it helps, you can mute the video and edit the playback speed(slow it down) using the settings wheel in the corner of the video!
