Thanks ever so much Tom - that Video was SO helpful to me (even with your errors) as I just got the Game today - specially for Solo Play, and was a little confused by some of the Rules. You speak really slow and clearly, which I found a great help. Thank you for such a nice comment. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond... I've had a bunch of stuff happening in the background.... But I also wanted to say that I need to blow this comment up, and hanging it in the front of my classroom. I can guarantee you that my students would NOT agree with your assessment of my voice. LOL! But, I'll use this to tell them, "See, you SHOULD listen to me talk about math all night.. That's what all the kewl kidz do."

Question: It looks like you were pulling out of the bag that had all 90 dice in it. Aren’t you supposed to limit the bag you are drawing from to 40 dice? 8 of each color? That way you don’t end up drawing 12 Purple dice and only 4 green dice? As you did. I believe you are supposed to do that since you limit the number of dice in the multiplayer version when you have 2 or 3 players.
winning the solo game with the regular rules is super tough! i've yet to do it.

Oh man, this solo is brutal! Rumor has it they've tweaked the solo rules in subsequent printings to make it a little less brutal.... But I can't quite remember what the changes are....
In the updated rules you have two private objectives in the solo game.

None of my tool cards have dice pics on it. They are all colors. Did they change the cards?
It's very possible.... I have the first printing of the game. My understanding is that they have reworked the solo-mode to be slightly easier to win. As it was when I recorded this, it was extremely difficult to win... and there was a lot of talk about that on BGG... So it's entirely possible they've changed that.

Not in solo mode! BUT, looking at the second printing rules it has a modification I need to try - I think I’d have a shot of winning. But I love the pizzley-sudoku-feel of the solo mode for sure.
I didn't realize there was an updated version of the rules. Where can I find those?
I just searched google for “sagrada rulebook” and noticed the solo rules were slightly different. If I remember correctly, you basically draw one extra private goal card. So, you’ll be adding more points from a second color of dice.
