its so fuckin cool but haunting at the same time. cave being trapped in a metal head deep underground with singing toilets for eternity is so funny but so sad.
I could see there being a Portal 3, with this being a huge amount of foreshadowing but I genuinely want Valve to craft it lovingly like they did with this and the two previous portal games. I don’t care if it takes years, if Portal 3 is anything like the other games but with some unique puzzles and their wicked sense of humour, it would absolutely be worth the wait.
For me what I gathered is that the Praying Mantises power source was a device that connected several of their electronics to give them some kind of singularity. When the Head was stuck beneath the facility with all the turrets, the power source connected the head to the turrets, making them reach consciousness, making all turrets we know a copy of Cave Jonhson's consciousness, don't know if that makes sense
This song really inspires me to make a trilogy story that I so wish that I can elaborate on in the future. I've had many movie ideas and I would probably mesh some together but I would love a storyline of where one person has the drive to make some sort of amusement park that is built on many horrible dark secrets that the protagonist and another ally come together and defeat before it fully is completed. The second movie has more of the world expanded on and so on but then the third movie you would think it would keep doing as such but then the exact opposite happens. It revolves again around the two characters finding out that there is still activity happening at the abandoned park and knowing what horrors the place had for them they knew it was up to just the two of them to figure out what is going on. The teaser then has barely any real settings or anything like that but shows much destruction and dismantled objects. It then shows the two characters going on what seems like an amusement ride / roller coaster that's transporting them slowly and then halfway through the teaser it shows the sign of the amusement park letting you know that this is going to be based around the setting of the park. It then shows almost something like the finale of the song of a huge enemy appearing right in front of them while the symphony reaches its finale and has the two characters armed ready to fight and just ending right on that shot. Don't know if this makes any sense but I would love to have my story envisioned in some kind of animatic but I also know that way like a lot of time and effort over just making a Google doc about it but man storytelling and inspirations you can get from so many places really do drive the human mind to make things!
I'm here after the news about potential for HL3 and the resurgence of TF2 activity with more attention being brought back to it by Valve and the massive bot banwaves. Between this video/song/moment right here as well as the "Count To Three" music video from a while back. Along with the Steam Deck? I have some hope for the future again with what Valve/Steam has going on, what their working on and doing, what they might have planned. They can fix and change a LOT of things and turn more industries than just gaming back onto the right path and I am here for it and hope for it. This might be wishful thinking on my part but they have the ability to make some big things happen and I hope they pull the trigger on a lot of it all at once rather than on Valve time because they can send shockwaves that will change things for decades in great ways if they would just leave their previously dormant state.
Valve never disappoints with their ending credits
A nice ending for a simple game.

At least he had a nice last time

@@RealityContractor they just don’t know how. They’ve tried. It won’t work
That's because comedy = tragedy + time; according to GladOS, anyway

Sounds cool.
@@The_Master_User Don’t know if that’s really what happened but yeah blew my mind this way first time I’ve seen it
I think the power source is just keeping Cave Johnson alive and the toilets have just been copying and learning to sing from Cave
@@TaitLawrence-xl2xb Yeah so just couple of guys thinking without any proof 😭 Wish we got a definitive answer x(

Someone needs to take THIS... and then make a sick song using Cave Johnson's prerecorded messages. Mash them all together
