Great interview, I really like Edie (& Miranda)! I do think one of the character traits Lucas really needs in a new love interest is trustworthiness. He was devastated with Elizabeth breaking their engagement so suddenly and when he really needed her by his side, he thought she was his soulmate. So, if Edie has a similar story of heartbreak in her past, their shared experience could tear down the walls of protection they've hedged around their hearts, and start building a strong steadfast relationship together. I would love to see them both play the vulnerable parts of learning to trust someone with their hearts again (that hopefully would take a couple of slow burn seasons to solidify!). This just may be the new exciting romance on the show to watch! 🤠

Awesome interview! Miranda is truly a class act. She's funny, beautiful, talented, and has a great voice! And I don't just mean her singing voice. Her natural speaking voice has a quality that is very calming. It's the type of voice where, if she were to ever record an audio book, people would buy the book, even if they had no interest in the subject, just to hear her voice!

We know she must have talked to Minnie to get permission to "lawyer" in the cafe, but didn't get to see them together. Can't wait to see her set up her practice & meet the community. @@priscooper7166 just watched tonight's episode, was quite interesting, I just keep hoping E will stay focused on teaching, let others be, always is nosing around, maybe that's what a teaching degree does. Allie felt rejected guess E gave her the right speech, but I believe that boy is a bit too sophisticated and older being one of the railroad sons, too much for Allie, good he didn't play her more. Think he was interested in older women, like his uncle. Wyatt... Allie fits better with cadet, I know he is nice and fond if her, she kind of hurt his feelings at her birthday dance. So maybe Mollie was a bit correct. Learning to grow up is hard.
Edie is going to be perfect for my favorite character, Lucas. She's beautiful, confident, smart & so sophisticated..I can't wait to see where this is going ..and Miranda has a beautiful singing voice ..

@@officialheartiesadmins2118 True... I just never saw the possibility of anything between Faith and Lucas. There was a little bit of Faith and Nathan in Season 10, but that never went anywhere. Interesting thing is, Faith DID find love, just not in the way she was expecting to. She found it in Lily.
I love Miranda’s character Edy. I hope it’s for a very long run for Edy and Lucas! They are perfect together! Miranda’s singing voice is fantastic and so, by the way, is Erik Gow (Edwin) singing voice wow! Such talent on WCTH musically. Speaking of Erik I hope he Edwin also stays on WCTH. Love to hate him and again like him. Fun to watch.
I want to see more episodes of Lucas and Edie as well as, the Canfields, Henry, Faith, Mike and Mei, the other children like Angela, Tim, Emily, Opal, Robert, etc. I would like to see a birthday episode for Lucas. #hearties

Could be. Faith is an eligible woman in Hope Valley so she comes readily to mind.
