Do you have a green card? How was your family able to move to the US so quickly? I have a mate who is trying to move to the US from the UK and the process has been super difficult.
I have soooo many questions sorry 😭x Do you miss any of your friends still in the uk? What was it like when you told them you were moving Cos I could imagine that’s huge news to drop ? Have you visited since you left? And what were your school friends reactions in the US about you being British
Haha that’s ok! Of course, I definitely have a couple close friends and family members I miss a lot in the UK. I can’t really remember their reactions; it’s been around 7 years since then, but they were probably very surprised, and sad, but ultimately happy for me. I’ve visited home once- hope to go back soon. I think they thought my being British was cool- depending on where I go here my accent does seem to have a sort of celebrity status which is strange haha! Thanks for the questions and support!! 😊
