NOHAB Anniversary in Wittenberge - June 2024

On 1 and 2 June, NOHAB-GM-Gruppe Deutschland together with others organized an anniversary party in Wittenberge. This was to celebrate 70 years since the first MY came to Denmark, and that it is also 25 years since MY in Germany. All the "German" MY are formerly Danish.
We start out on Thursday where MY Veterantog with their MY 1126, is seen with MY 1101 and MY 1135 on their way to Padborg, first at Den Gamle Lillebæltsbro, then Tinglev and then arrival at Padborg.
A little later in the afternoon on Thursday, Altmark Rail's MY 1131 arrived, which was supposed to bring MY 1101, MY 1135 and MY 1126 to Wittenberge on Friday.
On Friday morning, MY 1131 drove with MY 1126, MY 1101 and MY 1135 towards Wittenberge, and the train can be seen at Harrislee, south of Nortorf and south of Lübeck.
The locomotives are then shunted at the turntable at the Historischer Lokschuppen Wittenberge. Later in the evening Altmark Rail then arrived with MY 1155, MY 1149 and Strabag MY 1147 from the east. And finally on Friday CLR MY 1138 arrived with 3 passenger cars + MY 1151 and MY 1142.
As you can see, the 3 Altmark Rail MYs are wearing mourning bands with "Thank you Micha!" which is a tribute to Michael Frick, who founded Altmark Rail, who sadly passed away in the weeks before the event.
On Saturday morning the event got off to a good start and MY 1101, MY 1126, MY 1131, MY 1135, MY 1147 and MY 1149 are seen around the turntable. MY 1138 + MY 1142 stopped a bit there, as they later had to run on the harbor line in Wittenberge. After this, a series of clips from the runs on the harbor line are shown.
Back at the turntable, the sun has really come out, and MY 1151 and MY 1126 are on display.
Then MY 1142 is seen at the front with Saturday's last run on the harbor line. There was the possibility of a cab run with changing locomotives, and MY 1149 can be seen doing this on the museum grounds. MY 1135 is seen shunting, and MY 1155, MY 1131, MY 1149, MY 1147 are displayed on the turntable.
In the evening, evening photography "Blaue Stunde" was organized and the locomotives were lined up around the turntable. Gas was given and the various horns were used extensively.
Sunday morning we start out with MY 1147 being shunted out on the turntable, and then MY 1142 with the 3 wagons and MY 1138 are seen on the harbor line. I was also on one of the trips on the harbor railway, and a few clips can be seen from here.
From the afternoon, MY 1131, MY 1149 and MY 1155 are seen shunting at the turntable. When the event was over, CLR drove back, and MY 1142 + wagons + MY 1151 and MY 1138 are seen passing over the bridge on the outskirts of Wittenberge.
On Monday morning, MY 1131 is seen with MY 1135, MY 1101 and MY 1126 first north of Wittenberge, then in Ponitz, where there was a short stay in connection with a crossing, and then finally on the Rendsburger Hochbrücke.
