26:10 absolutely out of pocket I’m dying lmaoo What a great video, the vibes are hyper golden retriever and a chill black cat if that makes sense, it’s wonderful. Happy reading! ✨
I love you two together!!! Nick i really like the way your wife speaks about books and how cute you are talking and sharing books!!!! I needed this, thank you to the both of you☕🥧🫖🍵🕯📚📓🖋Warm hugs all the way from Sweden
Oh my gosh, I thought this video was going to include talk about people who like to sniff books, and I was like “That’s me!!” 🤣 Such a great name for a podcast!! Loved this! Had no idea you and the wife had a podcast at one time! Glad you brought it back!
Ayyyy! Love from Glasgow, Scotland. I've never been this early to a video before! Absolutely love your videos, highly recommend Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler and literally anything by Hermann Hesse (I think you would enjoy Narcissus and Goldmund!)
I’ve read 56 books this year and haven’t made a TBR once. Definitely prefer the “mood reading” approach! I also haven’t DNFed any books this year. For me, making a TBR kind of puts pressure on it and maybe I’ll change my mind half way through the month about what sounds good 🤷🏻♀️ anywho, this was fun! Looking forward to listening to more of these! I like y’all’s content together!
Christmas book for me used to be "A Christmas Carol" As a teenager and young adult I read it every year. Still love the story. I also love to check out other people's bookshelves, but am disappointed when they don't read my genres 😂 I used to keep books, but nowadays - to make space for new ones - I let them go once I am done. Unless that blew me away
I consider books to be home decor as well as entertainment. I also like to get them all down and look at them and reorganize them so they provide entertainment even after I’ve read them.
Yeah I have to be in mood for certain genres. l also have a general tbr, that I want to read a particular series. Yes the blink 182 song Stockholm Syndrome is great. I'm in my Christmas era of books this month. I mainly read middle grade and currently enjoying Matt Haig's a boy called Christmas.
I don't keep my books. I track them on the GoodReads app & pass them along. I walk through Barnes & Noble or other book stores & its seriously like seeing old friends! ❤ Just finished "Daughters of Shandong" by Eve J. Chung and really was captivated.
As a mood reader who also will make myself a tbr for the month I view it as here's what I want to get to and the older might/and will change but it gives me a smaller stack to pull from when it comes to my physical tbr pile. Also yeah sometimes you find a book that you just have read outside of that but for me having the trb list reglarless if I stick to it or not makes the books feel less overwhelming.
I watched Pamela Anderson A Love Story on Netflix and she was so interesting but I was feeling super depressed by the end of it. She didn't have good taste in men, they were often abusive, but at least she was able to be an amazing mom, have a cool career, and a fun life.
All right... Maybe I am just seeing things but around the 6 minute mark you guys start talking about how dark the world is and then Lindsey mentions a book that had a wonderful lovely ending. While she was talking about it the background at the window got brighter... Maybe I had too many Christmas Ales tonight buuuuut yeah...
I’ve always thought it funny women are mad about men and their fascinations with sexual things. But women can read three on one situations in books and it’s “a good book” lol
Hey Nick and Lindsay. I'm a self published author. Do you guys review unsolicited material? I'm sorry to ask about this is in the comment section, but I didn't know how else to reach you!
we need Book Sniffers shirts!

I appreciate the Wisconsin shout out in the last 5 second of the video 😂 the accent was pretty spot on to be fair

Mood reading is so good, you end up picking up books you would never expect and also sometimes you get through books that you never thought you would!
So happy the podcast is back! We love the show ❤🎉📚
Lindsey, you’re a real one for recommending the reverse harem. Adding it to my TBR.

23:36 Nick and I had the exact same reaction to that sentence lol

You called Tommy over and he immediately came over like a certified good boy and then you didn’t give him a single pat. You monster !!! 😂😂
Can’t wait for you to read Butchers Crossing, read that then immediately went into Stoner, an incredible contrast of stories!!
I find that the book I read most recently affects what I'll be in the mood to read next, so setting TBRs is a no go for me.
Lindsey might be my new favorite! Love her personality! 💖
You guys are cute together! Long live booksniffers!
I’m a total mood reader too! I really can’t plan a stack of books and work my way through them. It’s just how I feel at the time 😊

love this podcast!! also, that's a dope pizza mug!!
I also think it might be fun if the two of you were facing each other having the discussion instead of being front facing - just an idea!
I especially enjoyed the Thomas cameo 🥹
I missed the podcast so much! I am so glad you all are back!!
this is a really nice backdrop
you guys are soo sweet and wholesome to watch!:)
The speed that I paused the video and added 'Three Christmas Wishes" to my kindle... 😂
First time here...starting James today. Don't hoard books because we move around a lot and they are heavy.
I thought my husband was going to divorce me from having to move all my books. My collection has grown so much that Im cemented here forever 😂
A book adjacent question- where did you get your wall-mounted book shelves behind you?
Chapters would be handy for this so if I'm not interested in one of the books you're talking about I can skip to the next one. Great vid thanks guys

I watched Pamela Anderson A Love Story on Netflix and she was so interesting but I was feeling super depressed by the end of it. She didn't have good taste in men, they were often abusive, but at least she was able to be an amazing mom, have a cool career, and a fun life.
I will read Cash even if you did spoil it. Very few romances surprise me. I love the happy ever afters.
I’m reading more Stephen King bc of Nick but I will not read romance series pillow fluff books.
Girl Aquarius (twinsss) and Boy Libra is such a classic pairing but it’s cause it works so well lol
Can I ask what you record with?? You’ve inspired me to start talking about books I like and you always have amazing quality thank you in advance!!
