M16 is the black cement 3 of rifles. A true classic.

Chris from Small Arms Solutions wrote two books on the AR rifle, Little Black Rifle 2 and Americas Rifle, I have both and use them to teach from as a range instructor . Those books are priceless when it come to information. Great video and stay safe.

Fun fact, China actually made M16s from captured examples. They got M16A1s brought back from NVA captures and had Norinco reversed engineer them to create the CQ series. The CQ-311 has a distinctive hand guard and revolver style pistol grip. It would later evolve into a flattop version and even a carbine version. These aren’t available in the US but they are more common in places like Pakistan where Chinese small arms could flow into the local industry more freely.

I had a bushmaster back. In 99 same gun but with 16 barrell. Back when bushmaster made top not h stuff.

PSA H&R has M16A2 that costs less
yes it does but I do prefer the chromelined barrel.
PSA H&R run from 1100-1300. You can find the Springfield online for 1050.

That's true, but the PSA doesn't have the correct non f marked front sight block. That can interfere with zeroing.

You need to place your nose closer to the charging handle to get the proper sight picture. I was ARMY (ABN) Infantry, back in the day. I loved it, especially doing rifle PT…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Basically. All M16/M4’s are technically AR-15s because of its design, they just have select switches that only the military can use, which is what the M stands for

@@LightofRyga to be fair it’s called a SA-16. The only clone that uses its namesake are the H&R models because they are completely accurate clones manufactured by one of their original companies.
Built my A2 clone for about 300 bucks less that what SA is asking for that one. Even got a Colt A2 marked lower with a FN CHF CL HBAR barrel in it. 😉
