Bless ,Went to see him in Cheltenham on the stage not to long before he died ,My dad took me and my 2 sisters , Before the show he pulled up in a white roller with a very glamorous blond Very friendly my dad got him to sign the program Very fond memory of the legend 👍🙃👍
Dick emery was just brilliant. I can still laugh at his characters even now I remember when the late news announced his sad death It left me upset because I found his style of comedy just fantastic. Rip Dick much missed
The clip where Hettie goes on the Ghost train and comes out all over the womans boyfriend is priceless especially when we see that Hettie has tied the woman up with rope. It is all action and no dialogue. Brilliant
Today I went down to the coast. We have a popular fair ground which has a Ghost Train. I laughed because I imagined Hettie being in there and coming out all over the bloke who's girlfriend Hettie has just tied up.
I dont know for sure but i do think it is the Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. I was hopinb for a glimpse of the helter skelter but had to make do with the ghost train and dodgems! It featured in keeping up appearancex when Hyacinth and Richard spent an outing there.
He always puts a smile on my face 😊 Excellent ❤
