    I have to say I'm very impressed with the consistent and controlled cell activator results. I've been trying to learn from watching UA-cam videos for 3 years without ever getting a result that is the same each time.
    I'm able to get similar results. Very nice work I will watch and read your descriptions for the right paint mixing and cell activator mixing to hopefully learn more. Thanks

    Honestly, i think this is your best work to the day. It took all of your focus and it took a long time to complete. It's cool looking ~ it's modern, abstract Art at it's finest. I'm really digging it. Nothing but positive vibes coming from this direction.
    I hope that puts a smile on your face Mr. Manoli.😜

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  3 місяці тому +1

      Thanks so much! There was definitely a lot of paint on the canvas. Luckily though, I did not get any cracking because I was very careful to make sure my paints were all the same consistency. I was also careful not to overdo it with the heat gun cause in the past, thats how my paintings would crack. :-)

    So I tried one but did the swipe after transferring the paint. Just realized you did it first. Do you think it makes a big difference?

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  2 місяці тому

      Hi Kathy! Yes, I think so. The transfer is what helps the cells spread after swiping. I think it might get a little too messy if you swipe after the transfer and I think you'd have to swipe over areas that were already swiped if that makes sense. :-)

  • @kathyz8203
    @kathyz8203 3 місяці тому

    What is your paint consistency please? Getting ready to try this.

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  3 місяці тому +1

      Hi Kathy so excited for you to try this! My consistencies for this technique were on the thicker side, otherwise it might get muddy. I would start with 1 part paint: 2 parts floetrol (Give or take depending on paints used). If some of the colors turn out to be a thicker consistency than the others, you can thin out with just a bit of distilled water until it matches the consistency of the other paints. Hope that helps! :-)

    • @kathyz8203
      @kathyz8203 3 місяці тому

      @@manolimotion Yes it does. That’s kind of what I was thinking. I’m going to try it with some of the Amsterdam pearl paints first and then maybe metallics.

    Thank you for Clarifying. With all do respect. I didn't say I didn't like your painting, only I was wondering why transfer paint from pan or any tools, to me it seems some part of paint sticks on the tool so we may lose some pigments there. I do Fluid Art and have watched so many artists. Sometimes I get really upset of my paint and I see so many people like it. So the techniques and outcomes differ from one person to one person. Thanks again

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  3 місяці тому

      Thanks so much! Yes, so many techniques and so many different outcomes! :-)

  • @pariaraghi2667
    @pariaraghi2667 4 місяці тому +1

    I don't get the purpose of this technique. I have seen it with different artists but still don't get Why wasting paint on pan or anything then transfering on canvas. Help me to understand the concept and what reaction we are looking for .Thanks

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  4 місяці тому +6

      What exactly are you referring to when you say "reaction"? Chemical reaction of the paints? Reaction from whoever sees this painting? As for the purpose of this technique, I dont think art necessarily has to have a purpose. My own goal or purpose for this painting was to create something vibrant, colorful, and over-the-top. I transferred the paint from the pan to the canvas because I wanted the cell and lacing effect caused by the cell activator to spread from a smaller surface to a bigger one (the canvas). Many people think that fluid art is a waste of paint which is nothing more than an ignorant opinion. Theres MUCH MUCH more to this art than what you see in the videos. It takes practice and lots of trial and error. Hope that answers your question.

    • @deelorenzetti7766
      @deelorenzetti7766 3 місяці тому

      It’s apparent that you don’t do fluid art! The purpose is to create beautiful art that comes from your soul and ingenuity! It only serves purpose to the beholder. Therefore, not a waste of paint! And if you follow any of these artists, you will find they are in no way wasteful!
      That’s my 2 cents!
