  • Welcome back to the journey along the rugged and scenic Pinhoti Trail! In this episode, join me as I embark on the 14th and 15th days of my backpacking adventure, filled with stunning landscapes, challenging terrain, and exciting milestones.
Day 14 kicks off with a brief visit to the charming town of Piedmont, Alabama. Nestled amidst the rolling hills, Piedmont offers a warm respite for weary hikers, with its quaint shops, friendly locals, and delicious local cuisine. After refueling and restocking supplies, it's back on the trail to continue the adventure.
Day 15 has me trekking further along the Pinhoti Trail, where I reach a significant milestone - the halfway point of my journey. Crossing this threshold fills me with a sense of accomplishment and fuels my determination to press on towards the trail's end. The trail at this halfway point offers breathtaking views, serene forests, and encounters with wildlife, reminding me of the beauty and majesty of nature.
Georgia brings new challenges and adventures as I cross the state border, marking a transition in landscapes and terrain. The Georgia section of the Pinhoti Trail presents its own set of unique experiences, from rocky ridges to lush valleys, showcasing the diverse beauty of the Appalachian region.

Saw the boogeyman at the shelter. Bloops are a nice touch. Loved it.

I don't have too many bloopers, but for some reason, I could not get my head straight on these days. Also, I may be fat and ugly but calling me the boogeyman isn't nice :(
