The Easy Rider tricycle (bit.ly/2u9l0L5) for adults is clearly different from other tricycles. It has a unique frame with low step through and a stable lower sitting position. The low centre of gravity, seating with a back support and steering in front give the rider a safe and secure feeling. The forward pedalling motion and the frame suspension ensure a perfectly comfortable ride. The special cycling position lays hardly any burden on the back, neck, shoulders and wrists. The Easy Rider is available with various options, such as, a single hand brakes, a walker holder, foot fixation and an electric engine for power assist.

I'm sure there are many folks out there, senior citizens and those with limited or restricted mobility, that would find this a blessing to have to help them remain independent and get some exercise. Nice design. Simple controls. I did notice a key dangling down by the front wheel. What is that for? Is there any risk of it jiggling loose? It also looks slightly longer and narrower abeam than others. Also a great idea that it has gears. So many of the other manual trikes are single speed and make inclines of any degree a challenge. Nice for those narrow bike paths and lanes. (Need to fix a typo in your text - "Stop/ getting of your bike without leaving your bike." to "Stop without getting off your bike." Best wishes with your product.
The key is from a 'ring lock', a lock that is well-known in the Netherlands. The key is secure in the lock. If we are updating our product videos, we will take your advice and fix the typo. Thanks.

God knows. I'm not saying that is is not useful for about 20% of athletic induviduals with superior balance and great reaction/reflex Anyway-call me if you are able to determine it. God blesses those whose he choses. Many will be called but only few chosen.

I have similar trike made by PFIFF. Without motor I have gone as fast as 6.5 miles/he average. I have a basket rack and underneath there is a basket. I haven’t use rack yet. Never felt necessary as existing basket could accommodate week worth of grocery. My daily ride is 4 to 7 miles. My trike has fenders, front and tail lights that operate with hub dynamo. Tires and tubes are high quality. Over a year without a puncture, Tire pressure has maintained longest I have ever experienced. I have pumped air into tires about six time by now. That is once in couple of months on average. It has Dunlop valve that I think is better than valves used in USA. Good thing about European made bikes is that their design and construction is robust. Parts are good quality. No breakdown yet. Expect to twice or more than made in Taiwan or USA but it give almost no trouble and come with all bells and whistles. After all what is the meaning of having it if it do not work when you want it?

Pamela Faulkner Mine is not electric. However, electric bikes and trikes has two versions. One that activate motor only if you paddle. It also cut of electric assistance once your reach maximum allowable state limits. Generally, when you reach 15 miles/hr (upto 28 miles/hr in some states in USA). These are called pedelec. Usually these are big brand name motors such as Bosch, Neo Drive. Other have both features pedelec as well as motor only. Generic and usually after market drives fall in this class; such as Bafang, Falco.
If you go for Pfiff and most other European bike/trike most likely you would get pedelec (most would offer US version of customer is in USA).
But check out before you buy. Try test ride if possible, research manufacturers websites and watch their and customer’s video on social media and reviews in cycling magazines.
Check at websites of SPAZI (for recumbents) and euro bike for the rest, to have holistic view of what is available and what may interest you. Bicycle industry is evolving fast.

I testrode it in sweden a few years back and its amazing, i fell so safe and comfortable. However the price at 6000-8000€ is unreasonably since the production cost is not much more then on other bikes.
We make our bikes in our factory in Varsseveld, a small town in the Netherlands. Many different steel pipes arrive in our production department, after which they are processed and eventually shaped into bicycle frames. Various machines are used to process the many pipes and a welding robot connects all parts together. In our assembly hall, all components are attached to the bike. The special needs bikes from Van Raam are produced entirely in-house (Varsseveld) and are custom-made. @@Van_Raam Thank you, i understand it cost money to make bicycles like this but very very few can actually afford them. I would really hope you understand this dilemma. Scrooser from germany made a cheaper (Half price) version of their €6000 scooter and now people can actually afford them. I hope that you can make affordable products as well. Else the chinease will copy your design with to low quality. Its happens to almost every good design.

I've tried other electric bikes before, but the M340 is by far the best. For its combination of speed, range, and comfort.
It is good that you have tried several bikes. By trying and test riding tricycles, you can experience for yourself which bike suits you the best. This can be different for each person. 😄

How far does this go? The sitting is a little low but I like it.
The range of the batteries, i.e. how many kilometers an e-bike battery holds, depends on many different factors, lik speed, sort of pavement, wind, the weight of the driver, the status of the battery, tire inflation and the acclivity. Ik krijg de accu niet los om hem op te laden. Hoe doe ik dat want ik krijg op de een of andere manier het sleuteltje niet niet goed in het slotje. Dan moet ik te lang bukken en word duizelig.

Calling me "son" is a bad joke since I'm much closer to your age than not , second those tires are standard for any trike unless of course you are referring to this trike's rear wheel track (width) and going much wider would mean not being able to fit through most doors so try being more specific , third people our age and older for the most part aren't interested in any way in climbing hills any more hence the popularity of electric assist among other fine inventions these days , so clearly you don't know what you claim to be talking about so stop bullying these good people and show some respect for their hard work and innovation . If you can't say anything nice maybe consider keeping it to yourself.

cuanto cuesta en dinero mexicano
as someone who can not drive a regular bicycle due to medical reasons, this bike would be perfect for me. I can't afford it though, but I don't know, maybe one day when I win the lottery. I have ridden a similar bike to this before and you wouldn't believe how freeing it is for someone to gain some semblance of mobility of this kind. The design is also really good, keeping in mind those who might have problems with their legs, but like I said people with special needs already have costs with their respective illnesses, there is not much room for this kind of expense.

With the optional pedal support you can cycle up to 25 kmph (around 15 mph). If you go faster than that, the pedal support automatically turns off for safety. With your own physical strength, you can ride as fast as you can/want.

It seems to ride very nice but the look of it don't cut it!!!!! Why didn't you or hoodoo ever designed the frame do a better looking design. I have been designing tricks bikes and motorcycles frames for years and I learned that the people want good looking cycles.
Design is of course a matter of taste, but we designed this bike with a certain target group in our minds. We often get compliments about this frame from our target group. We do try to always optimize our bikes, also the design.

The only trike I'd ride is a recumbent otherwise I would pick a two-wheeled bicycle over these tricycles that look like bicycles with three wheels I just recently bought one and I cracked up as soon as I got on it the first time I hit a curb and the tire in the front blew out second thing when I tried to make a sharp turn I tilted it over and fell so I figured I can't make no sharp turns with this kind of a bicycle so I started to make wider turns in the street and all the cars around me decided they didn't like that so they started honking their horns at me these tricycles are very, very dangerous I would not recommend them to anybody let alone seniors.
Hi Ken, what a pity to hear. Our Easy Rider tricycles have a small turning circle, which makes them manoeuvrable. In addition, the bicycle should not just tip over. Have you already contacted your Van Raam dealer about this?
