Italeri 1/35 Scale Model Tank and Vehicle and 1/35 Dragon USMC Figures.
This video shows step by step the entire process of the diorama building.
This diorama will represent the landing of the USMC troops to the little but very important island of Iwo Jima on the 19th February 1945.

Lo importante es q te lo hayas pasado bien haciendo este gran diorama .La idea principal del modelismo es divertirte haciendolo ...luego ya vendra la documentación y el rigor histórico pero siempre antes la diversion

Totalmente de acuerdo! Es obvio que sería bueno hacer todo de la mejor manera, pero como ya dije en los videos anteriores y en este tambien, es mi primera vez que hago algo que no sean aviones y por ende no estoy muy informado sobre todo lo que son vehiculos y tanques...pero bueno, cadauno es libre de expresarse como quiere ☺️

For the base you need a sheet of polystyrene at least 2cm thick, vinyl glue, hot glue, two-component resin for the water, some sand, various paints ...
I think this is what is needed!

The wrong tank, No large hatch M4A2's were used on Iwo Jima. The figures are wearing US Army uniforms. US Marines landed in green cotton herringbone utility uniforms. Marines also had a camouflage helmet cover. The USMC camouflage uniform was no longer used on Iwo Jima. The shoulder fired recoilless rifle was not used.

So did I get it all wrong? Forgive me for not having your knowledge on this, I trusted what the assembly kits said. The tank was listed specifically for Iwo Jima and the figures are sold as USMC figures. I am not an armour expert, this is the first time for me, don't crucify me! 😉
