Not bad although she should have said Best Pizza in New Hyde Park/Garden City or Nassau County as there are PLENTY of great pizzerias where I grew up in Suffolk County (Babylon) as well as in other parts of Nassau County. The original Umbertos is on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont/Franklin Square. The one she reviews in New Hyde Park as well as the Umbertos in Merrick are satellite locations.
My favorite classic NY Slice in NYC is Amore Pizza in Flushing. There pizza is amazing. There's always lines to get the pizza so the pizza is always fresh. They make the best pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. Here's a video showing Amore Pizza. Its at 57 seconds of the video below. Just look at this pizza ua-cam.com/video/VNCoGtY1f8I/v-deo.html
Actually the Original Umbertos is on Jericho Tpk in NHP. "King Umbertos" on Hemp Tpk/Mechum Ave. in Elmont/Franklin Square, opened about 10 years later and have no relationship between each other. I grew up in Floral Park, in the middle, within a mile of each. In the middle 70's "King Umbertos" was known as a "knock off" of the "Real" Umbertos.

Lauren is ok looking. Prettiest reporters in NY are Christina Park of Fox. Alice Gainer of CBS. Christina Regnault of News 12 in Longisland. Trish Regan of Fox Anna Kooiman of Fox Vanessa Murdoch of CBS
Wow you guys know your favorite reporter ladies. Im gonna go ahead and say my favorites are Gianna Michaels, Nicole Aniston, Lexi Belle and Jenna Haze. All great reporters who I admire for their integrity when it comes to journalism.
this (Lauren) Scala woman/chick is (plain) Hot, hot, hot, just like a freshly-baked Strong Island (New Yawk) Pizza (slice). I think that it is a great thing that she got to revisit her childhood at familiar old hang out places.
La Scala in Commack is the BEST on Long Island. And I'm saying that even tho I lived 50 feet from Umberto's in New Hyde Park.
I grew up on La Scala, moved to Texas when I was 13 and goodness I miss La Scala.
Little Vincents in Ronkonkoma. My vote for best in Suffolk
Tony's in North Brentwood on Clark St. is good too .
What happened to Ginos or La Piazza ?
so Nassau County favorites, not Long Island.....Suffolk has great pizza too.
Love Eddie's, best of all !
Where's that at?
I'm in Uniondale by the way.
