Having been stuck in Lockhart Basin before going this same direction, I can't imagine doing this at night. WILD! I still want to go back again and complete the Lockhart Basin trail because of the amazing campsite and sunrise there.

Took a long time but we only had six inches of room before it dropped off. Was pretty intense for the first hour or so. Enoch was fantastic spotting it while I worked the winch and truck.
Great production. Enjoyed watching. Recommend some snatch blocks (or rings) for the RAM to carry as it's so heavy. That would have helped a single rig get it out faster.
We have them but couldn’t get to them because the back was buried and couldn’t open the swingout on the passenger side. Recently moved them to the roof rack so we don’t have that issue again
The guy with the flat didn’t know he had a street tire for a spare? That tells me he didn’t even check the air pressure in that tire. I wonder what other basic check-offs he’s been skimping on. Probably new to camping.

No issues at all. Holds pretty good and we’ve had it in some nasty weather
