Ludwig just wanted to know if he was on shrooms because his chat mentioned it and it would be kinda insane if he actually was on shrooms I think it was a completely reasonable question most people would ask given the circumstances.

The one gray area is inheritance and gifts in some states, but Mr. Beast LLC is obviously going to treat all the video prizes as winnings, as they should. If you win a $50k car on a game show, you're gonna pay state+federal taxes that add up to $20-25k for it, or you don't get the prize at all. A lot of game shows will offer you a lump sum cash offer less than the retail price instead, which you still pay taxes for.

I used to work at a mainstream media company in the early 2000s in my late teens/early 20s and the shady shenanigans that went on were not only known, but just shrugged off. I constantly got passed over for promotion and asked a coworker why and what I should do and the response I got was a laugh followed by "you get status by who likes you and who you sleep with, in that order". I quit that day. It also gave me the power to get out of the coerseve relationship I was in at the time. It's true that those people who ask "why didn't you just leave?" have never had something like that ever happen to them. It's easy to see the crazy from the outside, sometimes, that someone is being manipulated, but if it's happening to you it's often really hard to see. At least in my experience.

I was traumatized as a kid, lots of yelling, beating up - now even as an adult, when other people start to yell or just talk loudly or they show anger (not even directly towards me!), I start to feel anxious and often I get defensive. It's like listening to my parents yelling at me over and over again and I feel threatened. I also get easily frustrated as soon as I'm being treated unjustly, even if just a tiny bit. I feel a strong need for equal treatment so whenever ie at work someone accuses me of being responsible for some issue but it wasn't my fault - I handle it very poorly, it's a huge deal in my mind. I think I have a lot of issues with trying to be "perfect" and to please others bc of my parents. I was doing whatever I could to not piss them off and whenever I did (for the tiniest reasons imaginable), it was terrifying. So now as an adult, at work I'm a workaholic and a people-pleaser, not bc I truly want to be - but bc I still feel like this scared kid inside who doesn't want to be punished and yelled at.
Me and many others have been following this drama a bit more closely, as it's been unfolding for weeks now. Truly a domino effect, one thing follows another only to lead to another allegation. Pretty crazy. I think I can provide a few major points to give you an even closer understanding from your type of perspective: 1. You guessed correctly about the Chris guy being Jimmy's closest member from the "show". Well, until recently that is. The sh*tstorm that we currently see unfolding started a few weeks back when stuff leaked out about him talking in an unappropriate manner to minors in a discord server (jokes you JUST DON'T TELL to underage people, etc.). Chris allegedly also met up with a 16-year old (think he had rented an RV for the occasion, and their meetup took place in a secluded area...hmm...). That, and he also supported a truly nasty artist infamous for his drawings of underage characters in s3xual manner. For example, per request, Keemstar's 8 y/o daughter at the time g1v1ng h3ad to D. Trump. Yup, that's correct. A more tame drawing of this sick "artist" could be seen hanging on the wall in Chris' room while he and Jimmy were roommates. Jimmy could literally be seen staring at said drawing directly. Get this, recently they cut out the portion of the video that contained the shot. //Just to be clear, Chris also transitioned to female a year ago, becoming Kris aka Ava. For clearance, as this doesn't really play a role in the whole drama, well except maybe, giving a very bad image to the trans community, given how he appeared by the side of THE biggest youtuber while recently having been exposed to be a p3do. 2. An ex-employee (related to the R.S.O. that is seen wearing the mask, btw) tweeted "Jimmy knew". Later "MrBeast" user could be seen in screenshots from the discord server mentioned in point 1. But the name could be set by anybody and that was no proof. Until...links to MrBeast YT channels were discovered to be "attached" to the user's account which could be set ONLY by the owner of the youtube channel. MrBeast could be seen um, discussing Chris' p3nis size together with him and a bunch of underage users. That, and the poster of that forementioned sicko's drawing that Jimmy COULD BE SEEN STARING AT with the scene CUT OUT even thought the video came out like 4-5 years ago. Another video - same poster in the background except it's just Jimmy this time. So, Jimmy knew about Chris openly supporting a literal CP "artist" as well as engaged in online discussions on said server commenting on his friend's weenee size. *BRUH* 3. Jimmy eventually posts an apology, pretending that (paraphrasing) "he had absolutely no clue about his friend's disgusting acts, doesn't support them and is firing Chris". He only became aware recently, MY A$$. Knew his friend was into sick CP "art", knew and also engaged at least once into s3xual talks with kids online discussing how "he knew Chris' d1ck size - and it's huge". And now we have this RSO on set close to kids while wearing a mask, well, for some reason! 4. Not long after the Eva/Kris scandal unfolded, dogpack404 here saw the opportunity and followed with another major blow, releasing part 1 of the above "documentary", the "I worked for (...) and he's a fraud" one. Scary to think what he has in store. One thing for sure, no matter how you feel about Jimmy himself, stuff took place at the company/otherwise somehow relating to MrBeast channel, fanbase, etc. that by their nature are just the type that absolutely MUST be revealed. Right? (Recap: part 1 had three major points, 1. Faking videos 2. Illegal lotteries and faking signatures 3. Promoting gambling in children (which if you consider from a therapist perspective is nastier than it seems, knowing kids are much easier to manipulate and so forth...). Please consider that, afterwards, dogpack404 got a Cease-and-Desist threat twice, and got bombarded with messages warning that, literally, people are going to look into all aspects of his life in order to find any proof (mental instability, supposed drug addiction, his mom being bipolar). They try to silence him (just like the comments on his newest video - only positive ones remain. Speaking of that video - they discredit an extention displaying dislikes on yt videos that showed like over a milion dislikes, instead claiming that it only has like between 20k-50k or so. Yeah, right!). Anyway, dogpack doesn't get any revenue from these vids so given the harassement he gets now, at least a like and a sub is what he deserves... I'm aware that I typed a ChatGPT-type essay but h0ly f*ck, this whole drama has so, so, so multiple sub-layers that I decided to write this to hopefully provide some insight, and once Part 3 drops - oh my. As someone who himself was tested for and diagnosed with ASD in 2018, when you mentioned the possibility of Jimmy also having it, I tried to empathize with him but couldn't bring myself to. Obviously with things like this everyone's case is different, but when his content first appeared in my UA-cam feed around 2020 I believed he had "fake" written all over him, which as an aspiring UA-camr is something I can't even think about wanting to be. Not to mention the fact that it should have been easy to look at Weddle during that solitary confinement challenge and understand the emotional distress he was in. The fact that Jimmy didn't seem to understand says a lot to me about his character, and the level of empathy he is capable of. In other words, I get the feeling that the things that are wrong with Jimmy's head go far deeper than you let on in this video. Again, I'm not a professional though--just someone with ASD speaking from his own experiences!
"Challenges" have been a theme in MrBeast's channel for a long time. The subject of torture in the earlier videos was none other than MrBeast himself. He still tortures himself every now and then but nowadays he mostly uses other people. Possibly the earliest was counting to 10000. The guy did other counting videos,(some over 2 days straight), the most iconic one being him counting to 100000. The most dangerous one in my opinion was him trying to be submerged underwater for 24 hours. He experienced the symptoms of carbon dioxide poisoning about 12 hours in and it could have been fatal if it had gone longer. Maybe these challenges affected him mentally, maybe there's already something wrong about him that made him attempt these challenges to begin with. For sure he's chasing the views, but it wouldn't be surprising if he justifies the suffering of others by referencing his own suffering, plus the fact that they agreed to the challenges.
I went deep into this mr beast stuff when it released and cant believe i never saw your reacts. As someone who has decades of experience with mental health issues i gotta say what they did to Jake was inhuman and should be criminal. The negligence of not mentally screening him could have been disastrous. In my case it was a crackpot untrained in mental health "medicine man" back when my parents were into this native american hoodoo. This guy regressed my mom back to her childhood unearthing past buried traumas. She couldnt handle it and had a massive mental break. Full on paranoid schizophrenia. At age 17 i lost the mom i knew forever. She never came back. What was left was a shell of a woman with delusions so strong there were times she didnt believe i was her son because that's what the voices told her. This kund of thing is no joke and should not be messed with unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing. As for the "medicine man", Ed Hale. He fled the state and last i heard was rotting in a prison in Colorado for manslaughter.

From what I can tell, I think anyone who has the opportunity to work with you as a patient/client can call themselves lucky. You seem like an extremely empathetic, kind-hearted, capable and experienced therapist. I have a similiar background, I'm still in training, but I've worked with traumatised patients already. And god, the flip Weddle does after a few minutes in this interview is absolutely heartbreaking and so telling towards how deeply wronged he has been. Like you say, I wish him only the best and that he has the strength and the opportunity to do trauma work with a capable therapist to push further towards recovery and mend some of those wounds he is still clearly carrying with him. Everyone who still wants to think MrBeast is a good guy should watch your videos on him. The fact that there's even just one(!) single person who got so traumatized working for him is a huge red flag alone, but we all know Jake Weddle was just one of the many victims of the Beast machine. Jimmy, for someone who claims to care a lot about helping people, making the world better and changing people's lives, he sure does a good job at ruining those lives. You'd think with such a philanthropist, it would be common sense to have a mental health professional checking up on Jake every single day and have them decide if they can go on with the challenge or it needs intervention and the whole thing needs to be called off, instead of giving the decision to people who only see dollar bills in front of their eyes instead of a human being. The one gray area is inheritance and gifts in some states, but Mr. Beast LLC is obviously going to treat all the video prizes as winnings, as they should.
If you win a $50k car on a game show, you're gonna pay state+federal taxes that add up to $20-25k for it, or you don't get the prize at all. A lot of game shows will offer you a lump sum cash offer less than the retail price instead, which you still pay taxes for.

I used to work at a mainstream media company in the early 2000s in my late teens/early 20s and the shady shenanigans that went on were not only known, but just shrugged off. I constantly got passed over for promotion and asked a coworker why and what I should do and the response I got was a laugh followed by "you get status by who likes you and who you sleep with, in that order". I quit that day. It also gave me the power to get out of the coerseve relationship I was in at the time. It's true that those people who ask "why didn't you just leave?" have never had something like that ever happen to them. It's easy to see the crazy from the outside, sometimes, that someone is being manipulated, but if it's happening to you it's often really hard to see. At least in my experience.

He's covering for Jimmy. Anyone who watched the early Mr Beast videos would know that Jimmy was cruel to his "friends." He would promise them things then jerk it away and move the goal post to win money. He'd let them win money then manipulate them into taking the chance to double or increase the money and then when they lost Jimmy jerked it all away. He made fun of his friends and it was sometimes hard to watch, so I quit watching until Jimmy started doing big charity stunts. Then those started looking pretty shady, too.
The thing is, he looks at things based on one video. You can't judge a man based on a video alone.
9:00 This describes perfectly what is going on with me when I hear raised voices. I was traumatized as a kid, lots of yelling, beating up - now even as an adult, when other people start to yell or just talk loudly or they show anger (not even directly towards me!), I start to feel anxious and often I get defensive. The feelings, reactions feel automatic and it frustrates me, it does feel like going back to my child self in these moments. It's like listening to my parents yelling at me over and over again and I feel threatened. I also get easily frustrated as soon as I'm being treated unjustly, even if just a tiny bit. I feel a strong need for equal treatment so whenever ie at work someone accuses me of being responsible for some issue but it wasn't my fault - I handle it very poorly, it's a huge deal in my mind. I think I have a lot of issues with trying to be "perfect" and to please others bc of my parents. I was doing whatever I could to not piss them off and whenever I did (for the tiniest reasons imaginable), it was terrifying. So now as an adult, at work I'm a workaholic and a people-pleaser, not bc I truly want to be - but bc I still feel like this scared kid inside who doesn't want to be punished and yelled at.
Me and many others have been following this drama a bit more closely, as it's been unfolding for weeks now. Truly a domino effect, one thing follows another only to lead to another allegation. Pretty crazy. I think I can provide a few major points to give you an even closer understanding from your type of perspective:
1. You guessed correctly about the Chris guy being Jimmy's closest member from the "show". Well, until recently that is. The sh*tstorm that we currently see unfolding started a few weeks back when stuff leaked out about him talking in an unappropriate manner to minors in a discord server (jokes you JUST DON'T TELL to underage people, etc.). Chris allegedly also met up with a 16-year old (think he had rented an RV for the occasion, and their meetup took place in a secluded area...hmm...). That, and he also supported a truly nasty artist infamous for his drawings of underage characters in s3xual manner. For example, per request, Keemstar's 8 y/o daughter at the time g1v1ng h3ad to D. Trump. Yup, that's correct. A more tame drawing of this sick "artist" could be seen hanging on the wall in Chris' room while he and Jimmy were roommates. Jimmy could literally be seen staring at said drawing directly. Get this, recently they cut out the portion of the video that contained the shot.
//Just to be clear, Chris also transitioned to female a year ago, becoming Kris aka Ava. For clearance, as this doesn't really play a role in the whole drama, well except maybe, giving a very bad image to the trans community, given how he appeared by the side of THE biggest youtuber while recently having been exposed to be a p3do.
2. An ex-employee (related to the R.S.O. that is seen wearing the mask, btw) tweeted "Jimmy knew". Later "MrBeast" user could be seen in screenshots from the discord server mentioned in point 1. But the name could be set by anybody and that was no proof. Until...links to MrBeast YT channels were discovered to be "attached" to the user's account which could be set ONLY by the owner of the youtube channel. MrBeast could be seen um, discussing Chris' p3nis size together with him and a bunch of underage users. That, and the poster of that forementioned sicko's drawing that Jimmy COULD BE SEEN STARING AT with the scene CUT OUT even thought the video came out like 4-5 years ago. Another video - same poster in the background except it's just Jimmy this time. So, Jimmy knew about Chris openly supporting a literal CP "artist" as well as engaged in online discussions on said server commenting on his friend's weenee size. *BRUH*
3. Jimmy eventually posts an apology, pretending that (paraphrasing) "he had absolutely no clue about his friend's disgusting acts, doesn't support them and is firing Chris". He only became aware recently, MY A$$. Knew his friend was into sick CP "art", knew and also engaged at least once into s3xual talks with kids online discussing how "he knew Chris' d1ck size - and it's huge". And now we have this RSO on set close to kids while wearing a mask, well, for some reason!
4. Not long after the Eva/Kris scandal unfolded, dogpack404 here saw the opportunity and followed with another major blow, releasing part 1 of the above "documentary", the "I worked for (...) and he's a fraud" one. Scary to think what he has in store. One thing for sure, no matter how you feel about Jimmy himself, stuff took place at the company/otherwise somehow relating to MrBeast channel, fanbase, etc. that by their nature are just the type that absolutely MUST be revealed. Right?
(Recap: part 1 had three major points, 1. Faking videos 2. Illegal lotteries and faking signatures 3. Promoting gambling in children (which if you consider from a therapist perspective is nastier than it seems, knowing kids are much easier to manipulate and so forth...).
Please consider that, afterwards, dogpack404 got a Cease-and-Desist threat twice, and got bombarded with messages warning that, literally, people are going to look into all aspects of his life in order to find any proof (mental instability, supposed drug addiction, his mom being bipolar). They try to silence him (just like the comments on his newest video - only positive ones remain. Speaking of that video - they discredit an extention displaying dislikes on yt videos that showed like over a milion dislikes, instead claiming that it only has like between 20k-50k or so. Yeah, right!). Anyway, dogpack doesn't get any revenue from these vids so given the harassement he gets now, at least a like and a sub is what he deserves...
I'm aware that I typed a ChatGPT-type essay but h0ly f*ck, this whole drama has so, so, so multiple sub-layers that I decided to write this to hopefully provide some insight, and once Part 3 drops - oh my.

As someone who himself was tested for and diagnosed with ASD in 2018, when you mentioned the possibility of Jimmy also having it, I tried to empathize with him but couldn't bring myself to.
Obviously with things like this everyone's case is different, but when his content first appeared in my UA-cam feed around 2020 I believed he had "fake" written all over him, which as an aspiring UA-camr is something I can't even think about wanting to be. Not to mention the fact that it should have been easy to look at Weddle during that solitary confinement challenge and understand the emotional distress he was in. The fact that Jimmy didn't seem to understand says a lot to me about his character, and the level of empathy he is capable of.
In other words, I get the feeling that the things that are wrong with Jimmy's head go far deeper than you let on in this video. Again, I'm not a professional though--just someone with ASD speaking from his own experiences!

"Challenges" have been a theme in MrBeast's channel for a long time. The subject of torture in the earlier videos was none other than MrBeast himself. He still tortures himself every now and then but nowadays he mostly uses other people.
Possibly the earliest was counting to 10000. The guy did other counting videos,(some over 2 days straight), the most iconic one being him counting to 100000. The most dangerous one in my opinion was him trying to be submerged underwater for 24 hours. He experienced the symptoms of carbon dioxide poisoning about 12 hours in and it could have been fatal if it had gone longer.
Maybe these challenges affected him mentally, maybe there's already something wrong about him that made him attempt these challenges to begin with. For sure he's chasing the views, but it wouldn't be surprising if he justifies the suffering of others by referencing his own suffering, plus the fact that they agreed to the challenges.
I went deep into this mr beast stuff when it released and cant believe i never saw your reacts.
As someone who has decades of experience with mental health issues i gotta say what they did to Jake was inhuman and should be criminal. The negligence of not mentally screening him could have been disastrous. In my case it was a crackpot untrained in mental health "medicine man" back when my parents were into this native american hoodoo. This guy regressed my mom back to her childhood unearthing past buried traumas. She couldnt handle it and had a massive mental break. Full on paranoid schizophrenia. At age 17 i lost the mom i knew forever. She never came back. What was left was a shell of a woman with delusions so strong there were times she didnt believe i was her son because that's what the voices told her. This kund of thing is no joke and should not be messed with unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing.
As for the "medicine man", Ed Hale. He fled the state and last i heard was rotting in a prison in Colorado for manslaughter.

Thank you for covering this and the work you do on this channel in general. From what I can tell, I think anyone who has the opportunity to work with you as a patient/client can call themselves lucky. You seem like an extremely empathetic, kind-hearted, capable and experienced therapist.
I have a similiar background, I'm still in training, but I've worked with traumatised patients already. And god, the flip Weddle does after a few minutes in this interview is absolutely heartbreaking and so telling towards how deeply wronged he has been. Like you say, I wish him only the best and that he has the strength and the opportunity to do trauma work with a capable therapist to push further towards recovery and mend some of those wounds he is still clearly carrying with him. Damn...

I think that it is in part true, but that theyre completely missing the fact that emotional manipulation/torture/etc exists. It's true some people are hard-hearted, and some are "soft", but it doesnt make either side any less valid. Maybe that guy would stand up for himself, but some dont.

Everyone who still wants to think MrBeast is a good guy should watch your videos on him. The fact that there's even just one(!) single person who got so traumatized working for him is a huge red flag alone, but we all know Jake Weddle was just one of the many victims of the Beast machine.
Jimmy, for someone who claims to care a lot about helping people, making the world better and changing people's lives, he sure does a good job at ruining those lives. You'd think with such a philanthropist, it would be common sense to have a mental health professional checking up on Jake every single day and have them decide if they can go on with the challenge or it needs intervention and the whole thing needs to be called off, instead of giving the decision to people who only see dollar bills in front of their eyes instead of a human being.
I'm guilty of watching the solitary confinement video that was actually released along with many other videos of his, but every MrBeast video I've watched, I always had this feeling of giving a crazy amount of money to a bunch of teens who are financially irresponsible and just keep making the worst decisions on what to do with that money. Making the best videos possible no matter the cost is NOT what any content creator should be laser focused on. I always thought it was purely money Jimmy didn't care about during content creation, apparently that cost always included people's lives and mental health.
There's nothing he can say at this point that makes him look even just a tiny bit better, there's just no excuse to these allegations, and people's mental health cannot be bought with money.

Well, Jake the Viking definitely knew about his brother in law. As for the rest I think they probably didn't have enough evidence and if they made a video they would get discredited like the multiple ex employees who have spoken out in the past.
