I'm graduated of BS in Electrical Technology but I don't know what I want in my life, like literally hindi ko alam paano ako mag uumpisa at kung ano talaga yung gusto ko. In this generation talaga, you need to know kung anong course yung pupusuan mo para pag grumaduate ka is mai-pursue mo yung propesyon mo, kung ano talaga yung work na ipupush mo na makakapagpaangat sayo sa buhay. You need Diskarte and Diploma in life, walang problema sa dalawa, in the end of the day nasa sarili mo parin naman kung paano mo iaangat yung sarili at buhay mo. Sa hukay parin naman ang punta natin lahat, ienjoy lang natin yung buhay na meron tayo. Godbless you all🥰❤️
Diploma + Diskarte example : Trinhil being a UA-camr na maalam sa sales and marketing dahil sa natutunan niya sa papa paano magtinda. Then gumawa siya ng merch, at, dahil alam niya mag code, gumawa siya ng shopify online store gamit ang coding skills niya. And at the end of the day, nakapag generate siya ng profit through youtube, social media and online store that showcases his brand.

I am glad na navoice out na to ni Gloco about how some game series were just “cancelled” sa kalagitnaan nung story nila. Nakakabitin din eh. However, I also understand naman din since it’s also about most viewers’ preference, PR’s preference, and how grindy it is to play.

Thanks PR sa podcast topic na ito. Hopefully more of these kinda "serious" topics in the future para this can help others how to think critically. 😊 Diploma or Diskarte. Nagegets ko si Vanilla na medyo malabo nga ung topic. Because whether you have diploma or wala, kailangan may Diskarte ka on how to earn money and live (example ni Vanilla even noong nagaaral ka pa kailangan mo na dumiskarte/magpursigi paano pumasa). I think the question for this topic is more of if Diploma is necessary para makasurvive ka and be successful. In which I think depende siya sa line of work na ipupursue mo. Pag Nurse/Doctor gusto mo maging profession then kailangan mo talaga ng Diploma. 😅 Ang important lang naman is may mga natutunan ka and you are continuously learning (knowledge is power). May diploma ka nga pero you cheated your way para makakuha ng diploma, then hindi makakahelp sayo ung diploma.

My take on this question e ok lang na mag stick ka lang sa diskarte kung di mo kaya makuha ang diploma pero do not encourage others or someone na diskarte lang ang kailangan. And vice versa.

I think it's better yung sinabi niyo na sana yung edukasyon sa ph is maunlock talaga nila yung full potential ng bata like help them to develop there skill kung saan talaga sila magaling like theres no rules to choose curse like let them a line them self kasi tingin ko marami satin na pag dating ng collage di talaga makapili kung anong curse talaga pipilin most of us na punta sa curse dahil nandun yung barkada or gusto ng magulang or pinili na lang yun dahil wala na talang mapili thats why madami satin random nag shift ng curse or humihinto na lang kasi they think na parang di nila kaya like ken pero kung na punta siya kung saan talaga magaling baka natapos niya din yung curse na para talaga sa kanya yun lang naman 😂😂

I think the reason why a lot of people prefer Diskarte rather than Diploma because of the school system having unnecessary subjects in College most of the time which is a waste of money and time.
guys I suggest pag may discussion or like debate tungkol sa mga issues, pwede tayo mag lagay ng parang blockboard for discussion, like nung sa diploma vs diskarte napakaganda ng discussion niyo, maraming points of argument na mas mapapaganda pa kung may visual tayo ng list and so fort, kudos sa isa nanamang episode ng podcast

Having a diploma gives you an advantage but doesn't secure you a high paying job immediately. Especially here in the PH employers prefer people with experience rather than someone with a diploma honestly.
This is actually timing on my life crisis. I’m planning to be a nurse JUST to have a diploma. I don’t want to go to college ever. Right now, I’m a full time artist and business owner 👏💜

People can take med (Medical doctor) as long as you graduated BS (Bachelor of science) as your pre med. I know someone who graduated in BS entrepreneurship and took med after passing the NMAT

Depende kasi yan sa takbo ng buhay ng isang tao. Halimbawa kung may pagsubok ka minsan jan ka matututo. ganun din sa pagkuha ng diploma at wala ka nyan kung walang diskarte unless nakapasa at nakagraduate ka nalng na dka nageffort sa course na pinag aralan.

For me talagang you need Diploma and Diskarte. Naka depende rin kasi sa tao yan eh and what type of work you will enter in the future. Example for me, I am an engineering student of course I need the diploma for work sino ba nakita nyong engineer nakapagtrabaho sa industry hahaha. At the same time I need diskarte kasi parang business din yung work namin eh pagalingan ng design at kung kanino makakapag less cost. Yeah you need both but still it depends on the person and type of work.
Ahahahahhaa.. For me Diploma at Diskarte.. Kung irerelate sa game Diploma is the Level, and Diskarte is the Skills.
If may diploma ka mataas level mo, mataas stats mo and such. Sa diskarte your literally GitGud.
So for me kung mataas ang level mo pero wala ka skills, your Deads. Useless ung High level ka pero naooutsmart ka sa skills.
same thing with magaling skills mo but your just one hit, or hindi ka man lang makadamage kc sobrang baba ng stats mo. you take more time to finish something since your underlevel, your understats.
So Having High Level + Skills would push you more forward. But still it depends on the game which in life it's depends sa situation or status mo. For some like in game if it's just purely skills then even you didn't level basta may skill ka makakasurvive ka, same other way around. But mostly of the game which is also in life you need that level and skills.

Diploma means a symbol na nakapagtapos ka sa school. School kung saan dinedevelop yung acad skills at character mo.
Diskarte is in the sense na how you put your current skills to the real world or any situation.
Baseline. Mas lamang yung nakapag aral. Diskarte is something na kailangan mapiga sa ibang tao. Like paano mo mapapatunayan sa iba na capable ka kung wala ka tinapos. Mahirap diba? Because this world needs something that will certify or assurance. Madiskarte ka nga pero kung wala kang character mabilis lng mawala lahat. Or Magaling ka nga pero wala ka diskarte. Kaya importante yung dalawa.
As someone na PWD na nakapagtapos, mas madaling dumiskarte kapag may diploma. Boost din yun sa confidence ng isang tao tulad ko yung diploma dahil dito sa bansa natin mababa ang tingin sa mga di nakapagtapos.

Best of both worlds ang meron kang diploma at diskarte. Meron kang academics at street smarts like what Gloco said, mas madaming opportunities parin naoopen nun.
Mali lang rin kase sa mga pananaw ng mga diskarte e pag pinili yung diploma stuck kalang. Madami paring nagiging 6 digit earner dahil buhat ng diploma nila. Pointless na maliit yung education, mas rerespetuhin mo yung edukatong tao kesa yung mahina mag isip.

It really depends on what you want to do in life. If you want to become a doctor, lawyer, etc. then you really need to grind in school and pair it with diskarte. Diskarte can stand alone and can make it even stronger if you have a diploma to pair it with and vice versa.
Love this podcast, I learned many things and it's entertaining at the same time and we heard all their opinions (except Chris) about the topics that can help us in school or in life.

About the diploma and diskarte: it’s true that people have baseline stats. There are those that excel academically but there is also that excel with people. Usually those that have high intrapersonal capabilities are likely also to be successful with business. there are people who have been fortunate enough to have diskarte skills but to those that don’t, needs to have diplomas in order to reach that bare minimum requirement to support themselves. but even with diploma, you still need diskarte in order to compete with the very competitive ladder corp. in other words, diskarte and diploma are inter correlated with each other, it’s just that with diploma: it’s easier, it’s structured, it’s stable but in expense with, the money that u earn will always be either the same or less than your colleagues but not enough to earn 7 digits or whatever without diskarte. With pure diskarte: it’s fluctuating, markets go high or low, there are socio-economic aspects to cater to but with high risks comes with high rewards (or at least that’s what we want to think).

In their respective aspects, diskarte will always be the better one. However, having a diploma for a course that you can leverage with your diskarte would be better as a diploma adds more options. Not everyone has both and people have been successful having one or the other but diskarte is better if you think about it. One factor that cannot be determined but can be a huge factor is luck, you can grind out but have bad luck and not get the big break. Someone lacking diskarte might luck out and be set for life. It's kinda RNG but having one of the two gives you better chance for success XD
