That's a tough one but certainly top 5. Other intros = "Tales From The Darkside" , "Unsolved Mysteries " , "X-Files" , "Dark Shadows" , "The Hitchiker" etc
Never before or since have I ever wanted to live in any place, real or fictional, as bad as I want to live in this mansion!!! Seriously, just consider how badass it would be to have THIS legendary place as your home! It would be ideal for a horror movie director or horror author
What a great show. I remember when the whole family watched the pilot. Than my Mother said "What's wrong with the little man". We said what little man. She was talking about the crypt keeper. We lost it, and fell over laughing.😂😂😂😂😂 A fond memory
Reruns aired on Fox for 2 seasons from January 22, 1994 to August 1994 and again from June until July 14, 1995, under the name Primetime Tales From the Crypt, renamed the program's HBO's Tales From the Crypt; episodes also aired in 1994 in a late-night time slot. Tales from the Crypt went into off-cable syndication reruns in 1996. It aired late night on CBS in 1997-1998. It also aired on other channels, such as Syfy, Chiller, and Fearnet.
Yeah, good show and this had a good intro, very important and good memories, when i watched this years ago, at fridays. But i think this intro is a little bit edited original was a little bit better, not quality, but sounds and music was better in original old.
EDIT: op is referring to the stupid globe for 25 seconds, not the AWESOME tv show intro sequence after that. my original response: it cleans your palette and gets you in the right mindset for the show. I feel most great movies should also open with a kind of score music video. Just think of Watchmen, which had one of the greatest movie intro credits sequences of all time. It sets the tone and aligns your brain frequency with the content.
Tales from the Crypt and it's animated spin off series has anachronism modern peaceful settings solarpunk immortal utopian society eco friendly green world coexistence alternate universes multiverse and futuristic technology
Na sorry mate that's me, UA-cam wouldn't allow the original track from that particular episode, so I had to improvise! And yet they allowed Danny Elfmans theme at the beginning.
+TeeVees Greatest ironic because it just fits and sounds really cool!!! When it transitioned from the end Elfman to Metallica. I thought. Wow that just flows and sounds cool.
Combine past future traditional modernity real world with anachronism modern peaceful settings solarpunk immortal utopian resilient society and futuristic technology
Yep was big fan of Tales from the crypt myself but I must say folks that I hated the final seventh season because BBC took it over in Britain and Crypt Keeper didn't even look like he was enjoying himself it was a shit season.

@@fawkkyutuu8851 Unsolved Mysteries! Good one. Truly underrated intro!
Love the added sound effects to this, especially the door slamming behind you when you enter the crypt.
Never before or since have I ever wanted to live in any place, real or fictional, as bad as I want to live in this mansion!!! Seriously, just consider how badass it would be to have THIS legendary place as your home! It would be ideal for a horror movie director or horror author
I think the house was just a miniature set and the interior footage is just your basic movie set in some studio
I agree with that
What a great show. I remember when the whole family watched the pilot.
Than my Mother said "What's wrong with the little man". We said what little man.
She was talking about the crypt keeper.
We lost it, and fell over laughing.😂😂😂😂😂
A fond memory
Theres no way your mom confused the Crypt Keeper with an actual person lmfao
Whenever this intro showed up, I was very excited. Also wished I could have a house like that.
love this tales from the crypt intro never get tired of seeing this intro over & over gave me ideas for Halloween home decorating inside & outdide

That intro must have scared many a child unfortunate to stay up late while the show was on HBO. 😱
2:42 sounds so beautiful.

Me and my son was talking they need to bring it back all episode Are worthy of 20 stars🌟
I'm always amused by the fact that that house's front lawn has a tireswing.
wtf is a tires wing?
This show needs to come back
Thank you .
The editing here is perfect. For a movie like this, Metallica would’ve fit brilliantly.
i enjoyed it
Course the last time he visited, the weather changed so fast, everybody got caught off guard...
Love the resemblance of the gate to Gaudi´s dragon gate at Güell Pavillions in Barcelona
that was fun and cute!
This opening use to care the hell out me when i was a kid
I loved this series so much when i was a 90s kid, had to watch it hidden cos mom wouldn’t let me lol
I snuck out at night to the living room just for the intro and tried to watch the show but end up falling asleep half the time.
@@AX5Terminator haha and didnt u get caught up in the morning by your parents?

1:51 - 2:43 Yeah, let's get out of here quickly! It's a nice place to visit but I sure as heck don't ever want to live there.
I would LOVE!!!!!!!! to live in this mansion

Thumbs up for the Metallica song at the end!
Bought the complete DVD set on Amazon.

Pigmentation! ❤
its not 1996 end of this show , it ends in year 1999 because its my 9 year old time this show aired , and this show was aired in " RPN channel 9 "
I've always wondered what the Cryptkeeper is whispering towards the end of the opening theme.
HBO/WB. Domestic. Pay. Television(1992/1995)
I would've loved it if Danny Elfman composed the Gremlins 2 theme.
Thanks you from MR.SANDERS

LMAO I heard the credits outro and was like wait a minute? they never played metallica before....did they?
These credits came from the movie Demon Knight.
Ironically it's not the motion picture soundtrack lol

Why was it enter sandman at the end?

...so then why does the title of this video have "Blu-Ray" in it? TFTC was never released on Blu-Ray and as of December 2019, still hasn't.
As others pointed out, this is taken from the Demon Knight Blu-Ray from 2015.
I see Jordan peele re booting this
Why is the first closing from the film demon knight and not from the series
Guinness world records for knott😂 thinks 🤔 straight
did this really need a 25 second long intro?
Yes. Yes it did.
EDIT: op is referring to the stupid globe for 25 seconds, not the AWESOME tv show intro sequence after that.
