  • 10 minutes isn't enough to scratch the surface of what The Impossible Project is, and what it means to millions of Polaroid enthusiasts. Conceived at the closing party of the last Polaroid factory, The Impossible Project completely re-invented the process of creating instant film specifically for Polaroid cameras. A daunting task for sure, but one that they've been at since 2008.
Photo geeks rejoice as THIS Visits the Impossible Project's US offices and showroom with Impossible Vice President, Mr. David Bias.

Sad that everything was destroyed. Some people do not have consideration for others.

@mipmipmipmipmip no, i think that impossible project film is much more fragile and requires weird things to do that you dont need to do with packfilm, such as immediately hiding the picture from light, using an nd filter, and waiting for 10 minutes for the film to develop, the fuji packfilm also gives better film quality than that of the impossible project's film

Yeah but what does that matter if they have no desire to make the film anymore? Its like throwing out stuff in the trash but not allowing garbage pickers to take it. Theres money in it and Polaroid could produce again or sell the formula right?

Yeah that bugs me Polaroid wont share its formula. If they wont make it anymore then at least try to sell it no?

All of this trouble to secure and continue obsolete technology that is too expensive for the quality you get. Makes no sense at all. If there ever was an example of throwing good money after bad, this is it. Those "investors" are fools, and you know what

seems like a lot of hip marketing masking a rather poor looking polaroid caricature. but i definately see this being appealing to kids who would otherwise be applying polaroid filters to their iphone pix. i just hope the emulsions get better and more predictable.
