First and foremost, be respectful of Nick's wishes. Please do not harass or insult the other parties involved and please do not harass Nick. I uploaded this in the hopes of ending a lot of rhetoric and rumors about him leaving/being kicked out and because no other party is willing to address it. Should one of them decide to speak out, I'll gladly clip and upload their POV (with better audio, hopefully.)

@@LordHypnos4 Have you seen the other full video of nick explaining why he left and what happened? To be clear, I loved nick on the NLSS, he is responsible for some of the most funny things that ever was said on that show. However, hearing nick in the full 1Hr clip of why he left and what he said happened... It just seemed like he blamed everyone else. How can you be mad at people trying to make money doing something that is literally their only job. I still have respect for Nick, but perhaps a bit less than I did before seeing the full clip of him explaining why he is angry. ua-cam.com/video/KzIVgdleDoo/v-deo.html

I was under the unfortunate impression that Nick had just left due to fan backlash and was still on good terms with the NLSS crew. It’s a shame that’s not the case. It really sucks when a group of people you look up to for entertainment show that they’re just as flawed as any other personality.
Not say any of them are bad people. Even Rob I’m sure has a side to his story and in the end it was just a matter of disagreement. It makes sense when you look at it from the perspective of the two most politically minded members getting passionate about an issue they care about, to the point of distain for the opposite side of the matter.
I really do wish Nick the best, but I fear that departing from the group that gave him his audience in the first place will do more harm then good, even if I completely understand why. I just hope Nick is able to find something in his life that makes him happy and that he’ll continue to do what he loves. I have all the sympathy in the world for Nick he doesn’t deserve any of this.

Can you not hear it? It is very quiet so its understandable. If you want I can try to transcribe some of the most important parts. But basically it was a result of NLSS moving from the original trio of NL/Nick/Josh moving to more people, what made made some choices that Nick disagreed with. Besides that Nick also mentions how Rob ended up getting in a fight with Nick after some political differences - which Nick claims Rob acted very rude and immature (what is very believable considering Rob as a person.)
These and many other tiny factors made so Nick was feeling less and less a member of the group, what resulted in a falling off.
The video finishes with Nick mentioning how Ryan was probably "the least of the ones instigating the actual issue, may have not gone out of his way to solve but he didn't instigate." What's also very believable seeing how NL is a bit of a pushover.

All I'll say is that I remember a few years ago Nick couldn't stop himself from laughing about how he was ruining the show and it was a joke to him. I can see the others being fearful of their brand being affected by that kind of attitude. I always saw myself in Nick, and I hate myself. So yea, I always 'hated' nick even though I love his solo content.

So weird that this popped up in my feed despite not having watched NL or the NLSS vods in years. I never knew why Nick left, i stopped watching around the time he left, i knew that his mom had some serious health issues around that time and i figured it may have had something to do with that. As a regular viewer though after the 2016 elections the stream slowly became insufferable due to the constant political rants which were coming, 90% of the time, from Nick and Rob but mostly from Nick. What had been a mostly chill stream with people playing games and talking about random crap that happened to them in the day to day became just constant bitching about politics and, as someone who's neither american nor really cares about politics in general, it just completely killed the whole mood of the show so i started watching less and less until i stopped completely around late 2018. I genuinely wasn't there to hear about the latest dumb shit orange man had said on twitter and what Nick or Rob, the man who eats gourmet meals off paper plates because he's too lazy to wash dishes, have to say on the subject for 3 hours. Speaking of Rob, i'm genuinely not surprised to hear he's an asshole, it was always the vibe he gave off, i thought it might have been an act for the stream but i guess it's just who he really is.
I check NL's stream on twitch from time to time and he seems much more chill now that he's not really hanging out as much with the old crowd anymore and just playing whatever he wants and talking about how many produce the person in front of him at the deli bought. I hope Nick is ok too and happy in what he's doing now.

Rob too now? Fuck this fucking sucks. I know Rob can get extremely pissed off at certain ideas and people, but regardless of how Nick stated it it's not like Nick is a lawmaker. If someone with no power disagrees with something that would benefit you or your loved one, that doesn't mean they hate you or your loved one. Idk. I know Nick would never wish harm on anyone he cares about so how did it even get to that point? Unfortunately, all we know is one side in this and I do remember Rob getting so pissed at chat misunderstanding something he said that he got angry at the boys and hung up on discord (on an old nlss) so this wouldn't be that out of character if true. I think it would be out of character for him to never talk to Nick again though, so hopefully that won't be the case...

Honestly, I stopped watching the show around the time Nick left anyway. The show wasn't the same without him for me--having been there since the very beginning back when the show was still being streamed on UA-cam. They had such great chemistry together, it made for some genuinely entertaining shows. I would tune in every week and enjoy every second of it. Hell, even now, I could go back and watch some of those decade old shows and still find great joy in them.
Something changed, though. I don't know what it was exactly. It felt like all of a sudden Ryan just stopped caring and the things he'd say and do felt more...idk. Mean spirited? Like his attitude for the whole show over the years was a facade and now that he has his position basically set in stone, he could just cut loose and be an asshole openly. I couldn't give you any specific examples since its been a few years now, but it was around the time Nick left the show. I couldn't take it anymore, let alone being my main source of entertainment for the week--I couldn't even stomach a show in full. I would find myself getting too genuinely mad.
It might sound weird but... I'm not that surprised to hear that Rob and Bear were actually thin skinned little punk bitches--so much so that they'd sever near decade long friendships just because of some opposing politics / having their beliefs challenged. Honestly, if you care enough about your fucking shitty political beliefs to ruin what should have been a life long friendship, take a fucking step back and think things through, Idiot. Well then again, people with their kind of beliefs tend to still be children emotionally, and can't take even the slightest, the most tiniest little bit of pushback when it comes to certain topics like politics. The entirety of Twitter is a prime example of that, let me tell you.
I'm sorry for you Nick. Nek. But more than that, I'm thankful for all the many--Oh so many laughs and good times you gave me through the show in its early days to the point where the both of us dropped it. I can still go back to some of those shows and have a fucking awesome time. It feels like so very long ago.

1:00 Yyyyeeeeeah... The NLSS crew does tend to oversimplify things they disagree with and strawman it to oblivion... Not actually explaining why they disagree with something, but just SAYING it's dumb and hoping you don't ask them to explain it. It's a dirty trick used in arguments... Strawman the other guy, then *ACT* as though you're correct, even if you can't actually explain WHY you think you're right. But, if you just ACT as though you won, then fans will just follow you and agree. Reason need not apply.
