Xiaomi just realised a new Firmware 1.7.1. DO NOT update your scooter, otherwise you won't be able to hack it. The new firmware is having issues stopping people to connect with any app, even the Xiaomi one
I just updated my firmware via xiaomi home app, then used M365DownG to connect and downgrade. Now it's 155.
Ben Factor can I ask, when you went onto M365DownG to get the 155, is that already on the app or do you need to download it?

My scooter locks every time i finish flashing my scooter, this only happens when I flash the DRV as I have version 1.6.8, anyway I can change it to 1.5.5?
My firmware for my M365 Pro that was new approx Nov. 2019 is v 1.6.0 and I have an Iphone and mac.the IOS apps I have are M365Plus and then also m365downG can I use this same patch? What do I need to do differently? Thank you P.S. I subscribed to your channel. Very Nice.

I‘ve done everything I need to do. Downgraded to BLE 090 and v1.5.5 but I tried to run with sport mode, it still runs around 25-27 kmh event though I already set maximum limit speed to 45 kmh. Do you have any suggestion? Please help!

Nice video man! I've tried to crack down the firmware with the methods you've showed. I've tried to upload BLE090_PRO.ZIP twice (on second time the scooter showed numbers in red as it was broken, but now it's all normal). It's shows it's updated. But then check the version again and it's BLE110. My scooter's version is 1.6.6. Nothing has changed. Am I doing something wrong?
What scooter do you have? What app are you using and from where did you get the file? Also, have you tried with another phone?

Try to flash it using the app XiaoFlasher, but uncheck the version spoofing while you creating the firmware

Thank you! There are always few versions for the same ble, corrections new features and so on. The 090 pro is the one that worked perfectly fine, so that's why I advise that one
Thanks David for your fast answer and your great work... I will comment after if i managed downgrade my 1.7.1 version for custom cfw not specifically for speed because we are normally not allowed pass 25km/h but for change the power and engine start before 5km/h

So for people who still hesitate... All spend well... I downgrade first the ble to ble090 then i downgrade the firmware 1.7.1 to a personal.
I go make i small ride today and it's ok for the speed i put on eco and drive. Ok for start only with 2km/h and ok for the speed regulator with 3 sec.
Just the full speed on sport is little under. i put for try 31 and expect 30 so... But only 29 on the board.
Not really important like i will limit to 25/26 after... Just need try next week when go back work if i don't lost speed when i climb like before.
tried the steps in the video, had version 1.6.8 originally, all went good and seamed to of flashed ok, check firmware version, it shows as version 555, speeds have not set higher too
Try to redo the custom firmware, but this time uncheck the spoofing option
@@DavidTechEs thanks, i managed to get it to flash the firmware correctly. only thing is it does not feel any faster, was topping out at 25-26kph

Surprisingly, this did not work for me. Everything was fine. Varsion numbers are ok. But the scooter has the same max speed on sport.
Did anyone have this problem? Any solutions?

Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately, only can be done using Android. I believe that you could build an Android virtual machine and use that, but I didn't try it myself. I might prepare a video if is a viable method

@@DavidTechEs Hola! I have a friend over who uses Android 10. He is helping me flash my M365 Pro. Unfortunately, we are unable to load the BLE zip file on the app. The app says no permission. We have checked the permission settings for the app and there are none. We are using M365_downG. We connect to the scooter, check the version, then get stuck trying to upload the BLE file. HELP?? any ideas?

I tried the same as the video but the ble version wont change. Still remains as ver.110 with error code 10 on the m365pro dash board.
This tutorial is for the M365 Pro, not the the M365 with the Pro dashboard. You need to do some research for your particular situation

Hey David, I made a small mistake in the end. i upgraded the scooter after following the steps. Now it is stuck at 555. My setting are as follow:
BMS Ver: 126
BLE Version: 110
DRV Ver: 555
What should I do now?

What exactly did you do? How are you trying to connect to the scooter?

That's because you need to change some parameters while making the custom firmware. In this video I just show how to downgrade the BLE and how to change the firmware. I'm preparing a new video showing what you actually need to change to modify the scooter performance suiting your needs

Hi, what BLE file did you download? 090 or 090Pro? Can you try with the 074 update 2?

Look like a BMS error. Have you tried to change back the BLE? In the same website, you can download the BMS, try to manually change the BMS. Also, there is another app called XioFlash, try with that one too instead of M365donwg

Firmware is also stuck on v5.5.5 even after updating to newest firmware, 1.6.8 in Xiaomi app.

Thank you for the procedure, but I also had a problem that the version of the DVR was v.5.5.5 and could not be changed even when I gave the official version 1.7.1 via Xiaomi Home. After studying several discussions, I have succeeded and here's how:
1. Upload BLE 090 via M365_DOWNG
2. Via XiaoFlasher !!! upload default version of DRV 1.5.5

I have the same problem. When I try to update DRV155STOCK.zip in Xiao Flasher, it says that File Is Not Well Formed.. and when I try to flash it, it says File Is Probably Too small... 27 kB. :(

cmon guys, you realize this is just the Version spoofing which is auto selected on m365pro.scooterhacking.org It does exactly that ;). just disable it if you don't want it ;)

researching and im finding the battery drain gets much higher.. unsure its worth it
Well, of you get more juice it's expected to have less battery. Is totally up to you. I rather sacrifice few km in my battery life and get more power that helps with my weight

Android or iOS? If iOS, save the zip file to your "Files" folder on your phone. If Android, download it and it will automatically save to your "Download" folder on your phone.

What do you mean? You open zip file using the app, clicking on open bin

Try to uncheck the spoofing option, that should do the trick. Also, tomorrow, I'll post a new video with a better way to do it, with way more options
