Anthem was in development for 7 years, of that 7 years, it was in pre development for 5 and they only started making the game AFTER the E3 showcase. They did not even know what game they were making until that showcase. I would like to take a quick break and say that EA is not at fault for the disaster of anthem, the only thing EA did was put micro transactions in it. Basically, BioWare had free rein to do what ever they wanted and that was a disaster. Continuing on, the team at BioWare was not allowed to mention destiny or any other looter shooter or action RPG. One thing I have learned in development, is that failure is almost never the developers' fault. That usually is caused by either poor QA, poor management or poor design. None of which are developers' responsibilities.
Dude it’s not the developers fault, I’m sure they poured there hearts into this. The problem was that EA was more focused on Multiplayer games ( they thought no one wanted single player stories anymore ) and since Mass Effect Andromeda is majorly a single player game they’re budget was cut short and I think they only got $40 million to work on the game with when naturally a great TripleA title would need like $250 million.
Nobody seems to be aware of this but there are multiple BioWare studios in Canada and the US, and BioWare Montreal was responsible for Andromeda. While I can’t remember the location of this studio exactly, this is most definitely not Montreal, and therefore it’s not really his law to criticize the games development, or say anything other than what he said here actually. This guy had no hand in that game, so he’s not responsible for it’s failures.

This is actually really good. He is just answering questions as it is, with complete transparency and not sugar coating it at all. Even if some of those answers disappoint people. Say what you will about EA but they are definitely listening and even going a step beyond every other game studio right now. No other game company has ever been this openly honest in an interview.
Of course you can. There's 6 difficulties though, and I'm pretty sure you're in for a headache if you try to solo dungeons on the 4th 5th or 6th difficulty.
Well I had a team of 4 on hard mode stronghold on the demo but my team left me solo and I completed it. Not sure if it can be started solo actually, the devs keep saying everything can be done solo. I completed the fucking thing but it took me like 2 hours because breaking shields on enemies on hard mode was taking me like 2 minutes per enemy. Very difficult, but I think the HP and damage of enemies is also boosted being in a group and when they left I think the enemies kept the boost.
Thinks the problem with Andromeda was it's release window? Listen, Titanfall 2 is a phenomenal game that launched with a very bad release window. Andromeda was poo poo.
What I wanted to ask was, will there be further land expansions because he said that there will be no deserts, no ice zones. So that begs the question that in the future will there be other zones like deserts or ice, or even will there be underwater combat. Learned a lot though but Im still a skeptic at this point.
I just turned the game back on for the first time since the first cataclysm. Despite there not being a cataclysm active. The game is even more laggy than it used to be.
The story progression only multiplier is something i said would make this game noteworthy, that and its lost planet feel combined with titanfall 2 movement plus additions, and that's exactly what it is appearently, so might have to check it out. And no cash for bull crap, cash for easements, cash for the rest of the game you should have gotten, maybe companies are actually listening and seeing how suicidal the black ops 4 model is, and that online battle royal can only be done so many times, and HAS to be stemmed from an amazing story, world and fun factored game first, and at this point we just want the good campaign games back! Battle royal has enough to hang out for a good while on the back burner while some new universes are established and certified.
I am actually optimistic about this game and looking really forward to playing it. To me it seems like a better version of Destiny 2 combined with Warframe, my favourite game.
I think they should tweek the ultimate abilities. I hate the fact that I go to start it then the enemies are killed by other players and I don't use my ultimate but it still has to be recharged to use it again. They should only take it away if you actually get it to fire at the enemies. I was playing as the Ranger.
