I really like your videos and subscribed to your channel, I like the tips and DIY stuff , loved the extendable seat video and the bait making video, any ideas on videos about making feeders?
Hi Den I love your video's really good and the way you explain things totally amazing you are a very talented and experienced also down to earth guy thanks once again x
There a lot better than when I had a go at making a float. I used a cork and a quill from a seagull had fish on them to. I must have been 10 years old. Long time a go lol. 👍
We have all been there mate. As a kid, I once came across a dead swan which had hit power lines. It stank, but I got some feathers which I made into floats too.
It Just does not make sense to make your own. There are some great quality floats on the market for next to nothing. Great Videos and some great advice but this isn't one.
The reason I make my own floats is because I live in Australia these days. UK style fishing tackle is not available here, so we have to import everything from the UK. I could order a few of every type of float I use, but it's easier to just make them so I can replace them quickly if I lose one.
@@Jacksonknox834 it’s not easy or cheap to get carp floats here in Australia though. If you do find somewhere in the UK that’s willing to post here you’ll be paying through the nose. So we either have to make them or go without a lot of the time, I for one am grateful for the videos that give me the ability to fish different methods that I wouldn’t be able to otherwise.
@@adammilanovic3650 Hi mate, I started making many floats recently...I love fishing and after losing many of them I decided it as way better to make my own... best things to do during winter
Excellent, Sir Den!!! I wish You Victories!!!

Lol. Thanks John.
@@FishingwithDen Envious of your workshop. 😀👍
@@johnwilliams2711 Thanks John. Just about everything is homemade, so anyone can do it. It just takes a bit of time.
Far to much time on your hands mate, I for one don't have that amount of time, I would sooner go and buy my floats and spend more tim on the lake.
You're right Kenny. Being retired is great. I have the time to do both.
Me too rather spend my time fishing though 😁
