I was a fornicator. I stopped that, it causes so many burdens and suffering. The real underlying problem in that is lust and lack of true resolved commitment. But all sin is rebellion, we must repent and fully trust the gospel.

Sorry to hear that! Don't be discouraged. Seek God for help for whatever you deal with. He's faithful even though we sometimes aren't. Thats not an excuse for sin it's just the truth. But we all deal with sin, the fact is, our sin has a remedy in Christ. Any suffering, any infirmity, has no dominion over God. God is greater than all things, all difficulties and all of us as well. Sometimes life is overwhelming. Seek Christ, seek God.

we think this young man had a great mother and father. my father was a very nominal believer and and my mother was a church attender and what he called religious. but God in His mercy chose me for faith. it has be a interesting but hard journey up to now but He know the future. and I can trust the future to Him.

I can see why you get this, a lot of younger generational kids grow up in non religious homes, sometimes we just need to hear the message differently. Personally I stopped following God in year seven. 4 years later, I took the time to sit down and ask questions to a friend about their beliefs on God and religion and everything else. I had preachers at my school but I just didn’t want to listen, the approach that was taken with my friend meant a lot more and I was able to truly listen. Evangelism is so important and it is just how you approach someone without Faith. To evangelists around the world I encourage you to keep doing what you are doing and to spread the gospel, because we need you. I needed you and it took time but I came around. May God bless you all. You wanna know how I know God is here and here’s us all ? My gf as been depressed and thinking the worst so I grabbed the Bible and preached to her for hours reciting scripture throughout the day ! Today is Sunday and we went to church and the pastor quoted the whole sermon on the same points as I did and definitely it was for her ! She said how is this possible did you call him yesterday I said no it’s God this is how he works ! He knew you needed to hear it from someone other then me !
this makes me sooo joyful to hear! This is truly heartwarming and somewhat sentimental to me because I was in almost the same situation, yet my predicament had gone truly unsuccessful :(. I had been with my girlfriend on and off for around ten months, mind you I was 12 years old and now im only 13...but i still believe this is somewhat meaningful in itself! Me and her both went into our relationship depressed and occasionally cutting ourselves and things like the sort. Early on into the relationship both of our problems only got worse and worse, as you can imagine, considering that both of us had no relationship with the Lord God.
But anyways, her and I's relationship was a complete living hell for the both of us continuously for more months. My father had known about my depression (and multiple attempted suicides) and he had been preaching me the word of God. I don't exactly remember when, but I suddenly had a spiritual awakening that had completely changed my life and perspective. My former depression and anxiety and suicidalness had been completely reversed through God. Of course I was a new born Christian, so I was not very informed of God's morals and principals and I was still a little hectic. (That took time of course to better) I would try to preach to her to try and have a relationship with God, but it would be a disaster each and every time. This was mainly I think, because of her complete stubbornness and devotion to atheism, which is actually satanism I believe. But also, I was pretty pushy and chaotic about it which was completely not God's way, :( and so overall it was not a good situation at all. I was doing the right thing the wrong way
We are not together anymore, because she is gay and I am straight ( Im a female I used to be gay with her) but I think soon when I become more and more educated of God's way, I will try to spread the gospel to her in the best way I can (We are still friendly with eachother). But ONLY when I become a better and better Christian so it will hopefully convince her. I'm sorry that this was so long but this experience holds close to my heart and I would like to share it to you, maybe to give you hope for the younger generation, considering that Im a Christian, and just to add my feedback to your story. When we understand grace I think we can see other people how God sees them and treat others with gentleness. Ask God what you are to say and listen to Him. Also ask God if it is the right timing. You force it and it falls on deaf ears. best example I can give you is this, listen to a good faith filled message now, and after 15 years come back and listen to it again. You might just find that there was alot that you didn't 'hear' the first time around, and yet that would be the 2nd time you heard it.

@@originalyou4069 Actually Catholicism is Faith and works based. Matt. 5:17-20 we see Christ came to fulfill the law not abolish it. We don't worship Mary but honor her as our Hail Mary comes straight from the Bible in Luke 1:28. In Luke 1:48 we see that all generations should call Mary blessed, do you? Read Matthew 26:26-29 or John 6:26-69 and tell me what Christ meant about the Eucharist 😂. Catholics do not resacrifice Christ every Mass but partake in the single Sacrifice he paid on the cross because God exists outside of time and space. This is also biblical as the word for memory or rememberance used buy the Hebrews is Zikkaron, which is to partake. See the Jews didn't see time as a continuom but a bunch of events in which God has ultimate access to. It's why in the Bible we see time being used in the plural. It's also why in the Jewish Passover meal they were not re-exiting Egypt, but rather partaking in the event that already happened in history because God exists outside of time and space. I encourage you to be cautious challenging Catholic Doctrine with the Bible because the Bible is a Catholic book.

And Ps - Jesus did not say that wafers would literally turn into his body when you consume them, which is what you believe isn't it?
I've also had to tell my kids NOT to pray to the 'Saints' which they have been told to do at school... Because this is a terrible sin...
There will be many divided within the church... many within denominations - as we see it happening in all branches of the tree, more than ever now. These things were written. Many (not all) within the Catholic church will perish... many preaching the prosperity gospel... many claiming a different Jesus (Mormonism) and so on. The enemy is making its final push and the wolves are out in sheeps' clothing. What we must hold on to is the hope and the trust of Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible alone. We're not to condemn an entire denomination as a whole, unless it of course is teaching false doctrine that Yeshua is not God. Encourage and remind each other of the scripture, but furthermore take each approach uniquely - for we do not know what is in the heart of every individual. Only the Lord, and it will all come to light very soon. Meanwhile, love and encourage through the Word.

you see, before i became a happy and proud Christian woman. I was severely hurt by my ex bf and was in a toxic relationship.
i got out of that relationship and stayed single for long time thinking no human male can love someone like me at all cause im not enough and im useless.. cuz thats what my past relationship made me feel like. And Jesus Christ touched my heart, it was hard in the beginning, Jesus sent me so many signs, but i ignored them at first, how i wish i realized it earlier, but it just proves God was with me the whole time i thought i was suffering alone. T_T
time passed and i prayed for a man from God, and now i met the love of my life, he's a God fearing Christian, an engineer, disciplined and responsible, don't drink, don't smoke, no cheating history at all, and most importantly, he never hurt me. im not saying your dream man should be perfect, but as long as that man loves and fears God, he will never treat a woman like trash because a woman is supposed to be a gift from God.
i never thought a relationship like that was possible until God gave him to me.
All i can say is Praise God Almighty! He is the ultimate healer!, ultimate Provider, and one true living God!

Seems Ray wanted to call him a liar and thief to prove to the boy he was a sinner going to hell. I didn’t like that. The boy said he believed in and loved God and that would get to have eternal life because of Jesus. Ray turned me off.
Well yeah, that’s kind of the whole Living Waters ministry style, except it’s supposed to get a person to humble themselves and admit they are guilty. It’s definitely not an accusatory thing.

I don't think that was Ray's intent. There is a spot in the Bible that refers to believing in vain. They "believe," but havent repented & therefore clearly do not live a repentant lifestyle. I think Ray was trying to be sure that he was repentant so he asked him those questions. Its hard to do, but he asked to make sure he wasnt believing in vain. To another point, it also says, "even the demons believe & they sudder."

I pray that he will reach NATIONS with the talents and gifts that God has bestowed upon him. The other day at my bible study, a sisters 8 year old daughter decided to sit in rather than playing in the other room. Anyway, she raises her hand and proceeds to ask question after question about the scriptures, displaying such a hunger for God and His Word. I started to weep with joy! I just had the same feeling of thankfulness when watching this young man. God is raising up warriors. This is so encouraging

Yeah, even though the Lord had saved me at 17 (and I was among the worst of street life teenagers), I somehow ask myself today, "Lord, where are all the young people at?" I ask God to continue to save the youth.. my heart certainly goes out to them.
Take heart, lovely! We are not alone. Even if (like Elijah) we were the only believers of our generation, we have God, and therefore everything. Yes there are few of us, but recently I joined a new church that focuses intensely on discipling, and it’s PACKED with those our age...I’ve never seen so many commuted young adults in one space. AND they’re on Biblical meat, not milk. Better milk than nothing but wow that was so encouraging. You’re never alone!

And I listened to some of the songs on the album, I'm so thankful and happy that God is using him as he has a large audience and his album really talks about how Jesus saves and I think it's wonderful that atheists or others can listen to that, I personally don't like all the songs I'm not really into gospel type, but I really like the song Follow God! Also I think it's a good opportunity for us to use this as an opening to talk to our friends about Jesus by saying something like did you hear about Kanye's album? Because talking about someone they know and how God changed them can make them think about it being real and yeah lol sorry that was a bit long hahah. Anyway, I'm just so happy that a big artist like him turns into Jesus because it's just starting a big revival, which I personally think that it's one of last ones before Jesus return.

It must be so fun to see one of your favorite artist from a young age become christian! I think it's hard to detach yourself from an artist you listen to a lot. I just speak more from my own experiences, as I used to be a fan of xxxTentacion, which is not the best role model lol. I told myself it was okay if I was not accepting the way he was living, or the words he was saying in his songs. I think even if you don't realize it, it still puts a "seed" inside of you, as I think most popular artists nowadays are the front of darker influences and that choosing to listening to them can bring you farther from God.
Few months ago, I decided to completely stop listening to trap music because I don't want to open doors to something that is not from God. It honeslty changed my daily life, it was really hard at first, but God helped me and now when I hear a xxxTentacion song, I don't even like it anymore.
Anyway, hahah back to Kanye. You're right the gospel really gives a theme to the album so that's cool! And that's so awesome that you were able to talk to your friends about it! I'm happy for you!
