Getting back into amateur radio after a long hiatus since my employer has recently indicated interest in those with ham licenses for emergency response. These look WAY cool. The evolving of technology in just the past few years has been nothing short of mind-boggling! And I love ICOM also :) and not just for the fact that their national headquarters is only about 110 miles (177KM) from me... their radios are solid and tend to be reliable. 73 DE N7LTH
Another great informative video! I'll have to look through your catalog of videos where you use an SDR as a spectrum analyzer. Please keep up the great work!
Thanks Rob! We definitely will keep at it :) There are some weeks where lifes' commitments make the videos a bit of a struggle, but its all worth it when we get lovely comments from subscribers such as yourself :) 73, Jarrad VK3BL & Ben VK3HBN :)
Thanks Michael! I've just put a quickie together with the audio correctly separated into each channel; the stupid screen casting software mixed it down to stereo-mono for who knows what reason! It might be worth a watch; its amazing hearing 2 modes 1200MHz apart in each ear! 73, Jarrad VK3BL
Nice demo. :) I like to suggest to use, screencast software to record the screen/display with audio .. Screencasting might use some resources, especially the CPU, but, a good high end PC/laptop or certain GPU, able to handle it very well. Just my suggestion, and hope it is useful. In my case, I able o run 2 RTLSDR dongles, to receive 2 seperate bands.. Yeah, it is looks cheap.. :) but, still fulfill my needs.. Thank you, Bahathir 9W2GNU, 73.
What are you running for a computer? I see your SYS was running at 66% or so and wonder just how much pc is needed for good results with the Duo. I currently have both RSP2Pro and RSPDx but seriously looking at adding the Duo. 73 de VE4ACE
Here is a minor correction; the audio is actually separated in this video ua-cam.com/video/x60Slvza5nE/v-deo.html

I would like to know how the RSPDuo compares to your RSP2Pro and RSPDx... should I just buy the RSPDuo?
