Lemon Cookies in grams:
- 70 grams of Softened Butter
- 100 grams White Sugar
- Zest of 2 Lemons
- 1 medium Egg
- 1 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 150 grams All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Yellow Food Coloring( Optional)
- Powdered Sugar for the coating
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 c for 13 minutes.

Lemon Cookies in Cups:
- 5 tbsp Softened Butter
- 1/2 cup White Sugar
- Zest of 2 Lemons
- 1 medium Egg
- 1 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Yellow Food Coloring (Optional)
- Powdered Sugar for the coating

I just made it ..its the most amazing cookie recipe ever
I literally have every ingredient except the lemon😂
Then just customise it with whatever ingredient you have at home! Strawberry jam, coffee, some other fruit juice etc. Options are unlimited!
Orange, tangerine, lime..some other citrus basically! Although by now I’m assuming you bought some lemons lol

I actually just took these out of the oven and I wanted to say these are AMAZING!! I did substitute the lemon with lime because I didn't have lemons on hand, also I added rainbow sprinkles and they turned beautiful!! Love this recipe
I made these last night, but I bumped up the lemon flavor with about ½ to 1 tsp lemon extract (since I absolutely LOVE lemon and Nikki & Steve said they could use a bit more lemon flavor)... They turned out AMAZING! Sooo good 👍🏻

I have made these a lot of times, I wish I had some butter to make it again my dad fell in love with them. Every recipe I try on your channel works😚
As I stated earlier, y first batch was a “hit” and easy to make. At around 4pm, I made a second batch, by that time, it was rainy and cold. When I placed the batter with an ice cream scoop, and later tried to make a ball, the batter was very soft and sticky. I threw it away. At around 8pm, I made my third batch, and the same thing happened. So, I placed it in the refrigerator for 30minutes and they were fine to make into balls. Placed it in the freezer, and they baked lovely! I love these cookies so much! Thanks Emma!
I’ll try these today along with lemon curd 🙂 Update: just finished, OMG... fenomenal... I had brown sugar at home, so the cookies are not yellow, but the taste and consistency is perfect. Thanks, Emma!

Yes, I thought it might be too much if the cookies are already sharp. I might try with one though, just to see. You never know for sure until you try these things :)

I cut the sugar to 80g only, added some coconut yoghurt and finely diced almonds and they tasted amazing and not too sweet, thank you very much for the easy recipe! I would recommend an extra TB of lemon juice and even more lemon zest

I tried them and they came out really good. I was short on butter so I used 50g of butter and a tablespoon of cooking oil and it came out good. Everybody loved it.

Finally made this. So soft and delicious. I made twice. First baked and then rolled in powdered sugar. 2nd time i rolled in powdered sugar before baking and made it into crinkle cookies. So good

I made these and double everything but the zest because I’m not a fan of zest. I ended up using whole wheat flour and they came out great. They are super soft and the lemon totally comes through!

It was delicious (even when I messed up the recipe). My mom loved them and she ate them with milk(because I overcooked the last ones). But anyways, they are very very good and I recommend trying them ( I personally added some vanilla)

I made little changes with the lemon, though, because, in Mexico we have these small ones that are super sour, so I used 3/4 of 1 lemon juice and the zest of one.
