Hey thanks for this before this I used to average like 1:45 then I switched to redux I improvements 1:30 but then I switched to yah again and now I'm 1:20
Do you think doing opposite centers is a good a idea if they're very easy ? Like imagine in your first example solve, after solving orange, if red was easy, would doing it be a good idea or not ?
Just wanted to tell you that if you want to do a M2 with the 2 inner slices for 5x5 is instead of doing it M' then M', you can do it like 4Rw 2Rw' and the 2 slice M'. But note that 2Rw' and the 2 slice M' should be done the same time. These are my thoughts. Hope you understood.
@@npaul- ahh makes sense lmao it's just that I can't exactly deduce who you are from your youtube channel, I figured that you were probably someone in the Brisbane area
That comm trick at 11:47 is genius, I'm definitely using that.
You probaboy won't need to use it super often, but now it's there for you if you have to :)
Thank you for this I struggled with this step the whole time I learned yau
Big cubes are pulling my kinchranks wayy down so i'll make sure to take these tips on :)
Woo that cube looks good
These are really great tips! Thank you Ciaran!
Can you do some yau 7x7 example solves? There are none currently on UA-cam

thank you so much for making this :D

Watch my second example solve :)
@@ciaranbeahan yep nevermind

When you get a T case, you seem to always rotate it (so that the central 3-bar is horizontal instead of vertical). What's the actual reason for this?

Yes I understood, but I don't imagine there are many cases where you will need to use that technique

13:16 advice👍🏼
I avg like 66 and I've never used slice moves in l4c lmao
Too advanced lmao
is doing the slice move with middle finger fine too? I do this with roux and its more comfortable. also what are your mains from 4-7?
with the inner slice moves on 5x5, when do u use them? im not really sure how the slice moves to the centers
I did not really understand when to use half centers and when to use one center at a time
Use whichever one you prefer, but be capable of utilising both if a better case arisises for the one you use less often
14:10 would U' R U2 R' U2 R U R' work even better?
I don't think that's faster than cancelling into the comm
wtf i was just about to ask this
wtf its hayden ng big fan
@@npaul- um ok idk who u are but thx ig?
About the insert, honestly they are both really good - use whatever you are comfortable and consistent with.
@@cfoples btw im nicholas paul and i am from brisbane so thats how i know you

For 9:05 I would generally prefer U Rw U‘ Rw2 U‘ Rw if it is the 3rd center
That's good too, but I prefer what I do because I find I can execute it faster
Erster XD
