    Surprisingly how it's difficult to accept this. It took me 2 years to understand and accept what Tom is talking about. And thanks for videos, I have read MBT, but could not do meditation everyday practice because I had no any evidence or trust, now I have both of them. Surprisingly I could stop the data from this reality frame for some moments and now this video got me optimism for practicing it. People, it's true subject, it's not a religion that gives you an aim than not yours, it's science of consciousness, just try, it could be difficult, but try. I will continue practicing. My ego, wishes and fears are strong, but I trust Tom and realize that the more you can connect to other reality frames the less fear you have about this life. We are not just meat with reflexes and instincts, we are points of counsciousness. I appreciate Tom Campbell, thanks a lot.

    This is wild because I did the gateway audio (the 40 min one) and had an experience where I got confused because it felt like an hour had gone by... but it was only a moment, like on the edge of something. I looked at the clock and it had been a few minutes. All I can say is wow, more.

    • @edewolf9546
      @edewolf9546 4 роки тому +4

      @asoundlessrain: what Tom calls point consciousness at the Monroe Institute (and by the us military in the 70ies) was called gateway experience. So the „gateway audio“ is most probably a binaural beat to get to point consciousness. Binaural beats can help you to switch your state of consciousness trough specific stereo audio files and differencing frequencies in left and right ear. The difference in the frequency between left and right headphone is the beat frequency. So you can force brainwaves into theta for example.

    So check this out... I was ur ummm experimenting once... and I was in a really calm state so calm that I was able to close my eyes and it felt as though I was able to 'erase' my existence because I could not feel anything and there was nothing going through my mind. Kinda odd how interesting nothing can be lol

    This concept is reasonable if you assume that you are 100% conscious of how this data stream is created and by whom. Unfortunately we don't have full knowledge of that process. There is a huge part of our unconscious self, which is the mostly involved in programming of that stream. Our intention can modify it in some range but we are not fully conscious the data and processing, our conscious self is rather a receiver than creator. Even if we are co-creators of that data streams as separate selves, in large scale probability that we can modify the stream according to our desires is low. This could also cause entropy effect in that data.

    I like the short segments, 10 to 15 minutes, on specific topics but for the longer talks they would not be practical - more work for the editors and then all of the segments would have to be found on UA-cam. Personally I don't always have 1 or 2 hours to devote to a video so I just make a note of the time stamp if I need to go back. Simple.

    Thank you this insight is really helpful, I'm on a spiritual journey of discovery. The work of bob monroe and tom Campbell is amazing to me! I feel like so many doors have opened. Dolores cannons work aswell I'm finding very interesting although it is very very advanced spirituality and some of it I can't quite get my head around but that's my own limits with we're I am right now, I'm not saying I don't believe it. We are so much more powerful then we can ever realise it's intense and amazing!! Wow just wow.

    I've noticed that whenever I meditate, my 5 senses gradually become less acute, especially the sense of touching. So, this is the 'datastream' Tom Campbell speaks about; it is literally the 5 senses.

      +Tom Campbell My questions are these:
      How is daydreaming different than meditation? In both states, daydreaming and meditation, there is disassociation with the sensory input. So why does meditation leads(sometimes) to AP and daydreaming does not?
      Also, in some of the Astral Projection Exit techniques I've found, the exercises are focusing on an organ/function of the body, for example, the heart, or the breath.
      Since the above are associated with this physical reality, why do these exercises lead to an AP? Isn't the purpose to disassociate with the physical body/senses?

    Has somebody get to that point of connect to different reality? I have lucid dreams and feel vibrations in my body my head( chakras) and the atmosphere is different, the experience is real awesome, I felt once the detach of my spirit and just feeling and listen the waves of the sea and the wind, so intense, feeling wormholes in lucid dreams, like vaccum, so I dont doubt that what he says is possible

    Is the data independent of its interpretation? For example, if the rays of the sun is a data set, interpreted by my body to be heat or light, can I reinterpret it to something else? Forming a new experience?

    speaking on the time is different in each virtual reality. that's one of my "reality checks" is checking the clock, looking away, and looking back. If the time changes, you're not in this world, you're dreaming, because the clock doesn't run the same way it does here.

    Hello Thomas Campbell Sir I have just finished reading MBT and coincidentally someone I knows relative has gone into hospital with cancer. According to MBT you can meditate and go into NPMR and cure illness, if there's even a slim possibility of survival from the PMR perspective. What I'm asking Sir is if I pay you would you go into NPMR to cure this individual? Do you perhaps have an email address to contact you with more details?
    Yours Sincerely
    Many thanks

    • @MBTEVENTS
      @MBTEVENTS 8 років тому +3

      Tom would not accept money for this kind of thing, nor does he profess to "cure" anything. A lot depends on the circumstances as to whether help can be given to you relative. It may be his chosen path, or another reason, but what you can do is post your request either on the SWAT team page of his forum, and/or on The Outpouring page that was created by MBT Events. Please see the short video, The Outpouring posted on the page.

    Hey Tom, thanks for your work and your videos, I hope you could answer a couple quick questions I have. The the double slit experiment talks about a device used to detect which slit the photon or electron traveled through. Is that accurate? If so, what is the device/method? Also, does introducing that device to the experiment Actually appear to change the results, or is that bs?

    Thanks Alex Campbell (any relation to Tom? Just curious, sorry). Unfortunately I feel like a failure, screw up most daily, and I'm more aware of it.
    I'd also like to ask if all these binaural, hemisync videos are about the same (effective) or can someone suggest some better one for the "hopeless"? I know they just may help, no guarantees, but still

    I dont understand it. When you practice focused type of meditation you become more alert of what the senses are percieveng! Why you say meditation is letting go of reality?

    • @moonsod1113
      @moonsod1113 7 років тому +3

      Real meditation consists of letting go, relaxing, becoming more comfortable and at ease. It is not thinking, concentrating nor focus. You let go of thinking and thus transcend mind, body, emotions and all concepts. You do less and so find yourself in your deeper nature as consciousness without a focus, which is a wider and bigger focus on yourself without limitations; you discover yourself as an abstraction. It is not mindfulness. It is just YOU-ness or pure existence.
