I did Oldham market car boot a few times selling things, couldn't even park my van before people were climbing in it trying to grab the first bargains 😂
As a electrician that's a great find, As a electrician you need to upgrade your consumer unit and your celing light looks about 30 years off and about to fall down
Oh yes the light 😂 your the first to bring me up on that, I moved it to get to the beams behind it, currently held into plasterboard (that’s why it’s hanging out!) I’ll get on that! As for the tool, do you know what I need to look out for to test it? Thanks
@@JammyDodgerFlips it can be tested on any known live source if you feel confident enough, live -neutral 230v live to earth 230v .but unless you know what you're doing I'd probably just sell as seen, if the lights come on it probably works. Fluke, kewtech Di-log is a good make to look out for
like running any business, record money in (what sold) and money out (fuel / stock / food / postage / packaging etc) then [income - outgoing] you pay a % on the net profit. around 20% in the UK as a sole trader.
@@jrmma4254 the UK tax system is complex, and I would also suggest using an accountant. Every basicly you will pay 20% on the gross profit from your total earnings (total earnings will include ANY money money you earn from any source PAYE, Self-Employed or selling of goods) until you reach £50k then it goes up. LTD companies are different.
That has to be the best pick ups I’ve seen you get so far. The smell on the clothing is because of formaldehyde resin that they use to stop clothing going mouldy. If you have an air purifier with a carbon filter that will help. Keep up the great videos !!
Tagged clothing (in that quantity) always looks like someone has bought round the back of the pub. Muddy fox MTB jackets and outdoor clothing is always sold significantly discounted new. I would have alarm bells sounding massively at the stuff from that van.
I use to do smoke damage jobs and use to use raw onion cut up in a dish it draws the smokey smell out the a clean could try it and see worked a treat on a couch i did save chucking things away
Great Video's but such piddling little Car Boots. I think if you ever saw the mighty Dunton you'd have a heart attack. It's like Glastonbury but without the Shite Music. Good Hunting.
i love the balls on this guy, haggles em dwn from a tenner to £8, then hands em a TEN POUND NOTE! Then the poor bastards have to hand him back the £2 he just took em for, brilliant!
Hi man. Appreciate the video. Please can I start selling on Ebay professional as professionals without having a limited company registered and business bank card yet?

Thanks again Caroline 🙏🏼
Just discovered your channel nice easy watching
Thanks mate!
Do you have a video showing your shoe cleaning process? Thanks.
Hi, not yet, but possibly once I get a decent haul of shoes to go through

maybe a stupid question but is it still only 20% if you earn over 12k or whatever it is per year if i was reselling

Nice video, very interesting keep it up enjoyed watching👍🏼
Appreciate it! Will keep them coming 😊
I always love the variety you buy, interesting to see and learn from.😀
Thank you! Glad I can help, the random items is what keeps this job interesting 😅😁
Nice content mate. Nice and quick, to the point.
No faffing about in my vids! Glad you’re enjoying them 😊
Very good midweek carbooting
Cheers Craig!

Wow you sure did well 👏 congratulations on the first stall ,hit the jackpot with those prices ❤❤❤❤

Yeah fair enough, although doesn’t really matter, his prices were fair, I made some decent profits, so all happy days!
Those canvass chairs looked like a good buy at the start of the vid
Definitely need a trolley I got one the other week I used it last Saturday and my first pick up was 12 haynes manuals so was more than handy
I keep putting it off. Possibly in the summer. Might make me slower round the field though 😂
🙏🏾💯🖤 U seem genuine I wish you blessings.
Nice haul there 🎉
Cheers Jay, not bad for the small boot we had!
Pre worn items I stick them through a quick wash, new with tags I hang up and spray with Lenor decrease, works a treat 😊
Thanks for that, I’ll give it a go next time. The sun managed to get most of the smell out of these after two days out hanging ☀️

Thank you! 😎
Good haul for a mid-week boot my guy! 🔥🙌🏽 Super impressed with the magnums! 🤩
Favourite find, like new now they’re clean! Amazing 🙌🏼

Haha I’ve heard great things about Dunton 😂 enjoy my calm bootys for now.
Looks like a decent car boot that 1 mate nice vid keep it up 👊
Store smelly clothing in a box or bag with tumble dryer sheets, should get rid of the pong.
That’s a smart idea! Airing them outside in the sun seems to have done the job 😊

😂😂
I would be suspicious of someone selling brand new clothes at a boot sale with tags marked as £120 for £10.
Probably got them at auction. Pretty common at boot sales to get sellers handling BNWT items - no issue there 😊
Fun 😊 video 🎥
Did you get rid of the smell from the jackets?
Thanks Ally, yes all sorted! Two days in the sun sorted them out 😊
@@JammyDodgerFlips 😎😎😎
With items you dispose of, do you dispose of them correctly (take to Council recycling centre) or just pop in your general waste bin?
Yes all done correctly, usually build up a stack of broken bits to get rid off at once.
@@JammyDodgerFlips Glad to know. It's important to dispose of correctly and take bulk loads to the recycling centre.
Hi man.
Appreciate the video.

If you’re just getting started then, no need to be a business. Learn the ropes first. Then build up to a business
Great video as always, where is this mid week carboot?
Hi, this is Bordon Country market.
Thanks!
you'd have got £30 for the brass lamp on the first stall
He was asking quite a bit I think
1ST 😇
